Hi..I have been a silent reader for a while now but al your stories have inspired me to pen down my own story. I don't know if you ppl will like it or not but I think I should give it a try. 😊 plz consider my mistakes and feel free to give any suggestions.

Characters:
Nandini : A short girl with big dreams. Her positivity could make all negatives turn into positives. Her smile was the best curve she had. Her eyes could speak her heart . A soul who couldn't bear anyone's problems. Her appa's lifeline and her amma's support system. Her brother's best buddy. But who could have imagined dis smiling doll, small packet full of life would turn into a closed book which never opened for anyone.Her journey from manglore to mumbai, to fulfil her appa's dreams. Will Mumbai accept nandini? Life had a lot in store for nandini. But was she ready for it?

Manik: Handsome hunk, sinfully hot who could make any girl fall for him. This arrogant brat was spoilt for the world but the purest soul for his loved ones. He had everything in his life but he was in search of his home, where he could find his solace. Not even in his wildest of dreams he could have thought that destiny is waiting to Suprise him and turn his life upside down. But is he ready to accept the change ?

Cabir : Mr.cupid. His pranks knew no limits but somehow he always managed to get a smile on everyone's face. Manik's best friend who knew manik in and out.

Dhruv : The only innocent soul who is always der for everyone. Manik's buddy and alia's love.

Alia : Ms.diva the one for boys would go head over toes but little did they know that this diva had already lost her heart to our mr.innocent soul dhruv.

Mukti : Like a coconut, hard from outside soft from inside.

Abhi : The person who could rip off the hard coconut shell and bring out the softer side of mukti to the world.

Navya : Talkative girl who was so talented that she always managed to get herself in some or the other problem. Nandini's new friend in college.

Myra : the hot babe for the world but a child at heart. Finds her friend in nandini.

Aryaman : Handsome guy who is friends with myra.


Each one a different personality, but this unpredictable life brought these souls together.
Fab5, nandini, navya, abhi n Aryaman all belong to the same college SPACE.
The only thing common was MUSIC.
Will music get them together? What life has in store for all of them ?

Chapter 1
It was a rainy morning in mumbai. Ppl were rushing from here to there..some enjoying the rains with hot cup of tea n others getting lost amongst the crowd. In this crowd was a girl, her eyes red and puffy trying to find some peace amidst the crowd. Her eyes had many questions which were searching for answers.
"Nandu, come beta" came a voice piercing the crowd and nandini followed in that direction.
Nandini and her amma got into the taxi with all their luggage and within few minutes reached their destination. Nandini got down and stood in front of the building which from now is going to be her home.
"Nandu, plz help me with the luggage beta" shouted her amma to get her attention n nandini did as her amma said.
It wasn't as big as her manglore's house bt big enough for nandu and her amma. Nandini wasnt really interested about her new house. Her mind was still wandering in manglore, cherishing old memories.
After everything settled, nandu retired to her room as tomorrow was a new start of her life. Her mind had many questions but she had to wait for the next morning.

Malhotra mansion
After a rocking party with fab5 manik returned home all tired. He needed some rest but his mother was not in a mood to allow him to rest.
"Manik, where do you think are you going?"
"Nyonika, at this time of night normal ppl go to their rooms to sleep."
"Really manik? And wat makes you think that il allow you to do so ?"
"Wat you want?"
"Payback time sweetie. .sign these documents! !"
Manik was all disgusted by his business minded mother who was using him .But he was in no mood to argue so he quietly signed the documents and left. Manik entered his room and started punching the punch bag letting out all his anger. When he was tired he felt on bed with bleeding hands and felt asleep.

Nandini's house
It was around 3 at night.
"Appa, appa, no appa no...im sorry appa..."

She turned around, and unknowingly my heart skipped a beat. Her face devoid of any makeup, but still was the most prettiest. Her eyes just like an ocean I could swim into it for eternity. I was al lost in her beauty. Nothing seemed prettier than her. She forwarded her hand to return my kerchief but suddenly jerked back and ran away. I just kept on looking at her disappearing

Chapter 2

Nandini got up with a jerk, profusely sweating. ... she saw her surrounding and ran out. She peeped in her mother's room she was sleeping. She again ran to her room went in the washroom and stood under shower for as long as her body gave up the torture of hot water. She changed herself n walked out of the room all lost in her thoughts. Her body wanted some rest but she was too scared to even lie down. The nightmares had been haunting her for a while now. She tried to divert her mind and got engaged in household chores.
It was 7 in the morning wen her mother stepped out of the room. On seeing her mother nandini lowered her eyes and wished a low good morning and ran to her room to get ready for clg. Her mother didn't stop her. She knew nandini might have had a bad nightmare and this wasn't the right time to talk. In fact her mother was awake at night wen nandini had peeped in her room to check on her but she wanted to give some alone time to nandini to heel so she just acted. Nandini was facing these nightmares from that day. Every attempt made to heel her went all in vain. Coming to Mumbai was an attempt to get the old nandini back. But all their hopes were shattering. Nandini's mom silently prayed to her aiyapa to heel nandini. She composed herself to look normal. Nandini came down all ready for clg wearing a formal shirt and skirt reaching above her knees, hair tied in pony and glasses to hide her tears from the world.
( al were pursuing masters were nandini, manik, cabir, aryaman , mukti and abhi were classmates studying management and others studying arts)
Nandini hired a taxi and left for clg bidding her mom n taking her blessings. Nandini's mind was diverted for some time by the hustle-bustle of Mumbai. But it seemed like no one wanted nandini to b normal. 2 boys on a bike near her taxi kept on staring her. She felt disgusted but ignored. But the boys wanted her attention so started passing lewd comments making her more uncomfortable drifting her back in the pool of her bad times. She still tried to act brave and the driver also speed up the taxi but the boys didn't stop. On the next signal one of them tried to touch her that shook her to the core. Be it the old nandu she would have smacked them there n there but today she was feeling helpless. The driver somehow managed to safely take her to the clg and tried to console her but all in vain. She had lost it again. She was crying bitterly running in the corridor.

Malhotra mansion

After mustering all the courage the butler knocked the door of manik's room for the fifth time. That was it for manik he was about to scream wen the butler politely said " sir its 8.30, I fear that you might get late for clg "
Those words alarmed manik.he hurriedly got up. Within no time he got ready in formal shirt and trousers with glasses on and his famous smirk. He sat in his car andIin no time reached clg. His phone was constantly buzzing
manik: yes baba , I have reached. .which class should I get in or should I call the entire class to get settled in the class which I enter(he said with a smirk on his face)
Mukti: ur impossible. Come to 4 th floor
He disconnected the call and ran towards 4th floor. Corridor was empty. He assumed the classes might have started but sudsuddenly he saw a girl standing near the balcony edge searching something in her bag. Wen he went a bit close to her he heard her sobs. His heart felt a pinch. He couldn't understand why, how , wen but he involuntarily removed his handkerchief and forwarded it to that girl. He couldn't see the girl because he was facing her back. The girl just pulled his hanky and started wiping her tears, kept on rubbing the hanky on her hand as if trying to wipe off something. She was being very harsh on herself. Manik couldn't see that
manik :excuse me plz stop that
that girl was brought back to reality by his voice. She turned around looked at manik blankly, then starred the hanky again looked at manik and just ran away with tears in her eyes.
Manik stood there like a statue and kept on staring at her. He was brought back to life by a pat on his shoulder by mukti.
mukti: oye tuje kya ho gaya hai? Aisa q khada hai? Lets go in the class.
cabir: are mukti samajh yaar hangover utra nai hai isliye to aise behave kar raha hai jaise din mei bhoot dikh gaya hai
manik: very funny cabir. U both go in the class il join u
and manik went to the washroom to freshen up
Manik's pov
who was that girl? But wait wat was I thinking? How can THE MANIK MALHOTRA just help a common girl. Lagta hai sachi hangover mei hu.. but she was.. she was different .She turned around, and unknowingly my heart skipped a beat. Her face devoid of any makeup, but still was the most prettiest. manik shooed away all the thoughts and rushed to the class. He just reached the door wen he saw dat girl again, at the door of his class but now she wasn't crying just a cold look on her face. Manik was starring her but she didn't even look at him. Manik was distracted by the prof voice. The prof warned both of them not to b late again and continued the class.
prof: ok so the late comers v all were introducing ourselves now its ur turn. Ladies first
girl: hello everyone, I m nandini murthy. I have completed my bachelor's in business administration and have come here to enhance my business knowledge so thatvi could help my brother in our family business.
Prof: impressive. Now its ur turn boy
manik : hello, I m manik Malhotra. Even I have completed my bachelor's in business administration and want to purse futher management studies to help my dad in business.
Prof: ohh so both the late comers have same aim. Good! !
Everyone faked a smile but manik was lost in his thoughts. He was trying hard to remember were had he heard this name"Nandini murthy". The lec ended but manik couldn't figure out where he had heard this name. The day continued with more lecs but one thing remained constant and that was manik's thoughts and Nandini's cold expressions. Manik was trying hard to divert his mind from nandini but he was failing in his every attempt. From time to time he kept on starring nandini. Something was wrong with him. The MANIK MALHOTRA was not able to focus and that too because of a girl.



So here is the second update. Hope u like it and plz ignore the typing mistakes as im using my cell to update so sorry. Plz give ur reviews
