It didn't look like he is using the baby to make Pragya jealous to me in any way. He just told the baby to not come out and face the ugly world. Pragya is feeling uneasy for reasons we all know. It is Tannu who is winking and showing off.
I would disagree.The taunt "that bad world is for Pragya". And it is apparent that he is certainly indifferent to his own baby (Given that he believes so)for his own reasons. That part I dont like to watch. Rather I would be happy If they dont show any drama with Tabhi and baby.
