Part 14

The light rays tore open the sheet of darkness to linger on Khushi's face who was extremely lazy to get up always. But today along with the naughty rays of sun, she felt something piercing into her, something that was making her conscious of herself. Her eyes opened lazily to find Arnav Singh Raizada staring at her with gaze that showered love and shot intensity.

Khushi woke up with a jerk as soon as her eyes met those of Arnav's startling him, though he embraced it with a naughty smile on his face. A fresh day, a fresh mission and a fresh way. That was the way Arnav's thoughts were going, to woo his dear wife and ladylove.

" Good Morning! You need anything? I mean bed-tea or something of that sort?" asked Arnav, posing like a waiter to him, but the love in his eyes was ignored by Khushi, for whom this was another prank played by the prankster.

" What do you want Arnav? I am sure you will not behave all sweet with me without a reason. So shoot the reason." squabbled Khushi, while rolling her eyes at him.

" Chaahat Ki To Poori List Hai Madam. If you say, we can meet out somewhere, so that I can reveal the list to you. Who knows Sasu-Aunty might while embarrassed to listen to the list?" flirted Arnav, with naughty glint in her deep pools. Arnav Singh Raizada was unique in every single way possible. Then how could his proposal of going out be simple?

On the other hand, Khushi's eyebrows twitched and frown formed on her face as the meaning of Arnav's words dawned upon her.

"Keep your stupid ideas to yourself and don't irritate me early in the morning!" reprimanded Khushi, as the fact that he was flirting with her early in the morning instead of being guilty of his deeds disgusted her.

" It's okay, I am ready to wait for you till you feel like listening to the list. After all, vada jo kiya tha. Ab Nibhana Bhi Padhega." Arnav charmed a smile at Khushi, while Khushi's mouth opened to form a perfect O-shape at the deciphering of Arnav's words.

" I wonder if anyone in this world beats you in terms of cheapness, Mr.Raizada. Don't join this forced relationship with me." Khushi spat at Arnav, while he chuckled softly much to her surprise and shock that someone could laugh at being scolded.

" The relationship is already joined Madam, whether you accept it or not." stated Arnav, who knew that what he was saying was right from both logic and from his heart.

" Cheapo! Sahi Naam Rakha Hai Tumhara, Chotte!
Agar Rokoge Nahi Tumhare Baatein!
Milenge Tumhe Sirf Chaatein Hi Chaatein!
Aur Saath Main Muft Main Milenge Daatein!" Khushi rebuked as she staged a walkout from her own room, while her husband laughed at her anger for him.

" Let us see Khushi Gupta, how long you will be able to resist me!", thought Arnav, as he walked into the balcony to make calls to ask his mother on the status in Lucknow.

Breakfast Table,

After getting the news that Arunima and Arun haven't yet spoken to his Nani about it, Arnav felt both excited and nervous, if his Nani would accept this marriage or would repeat after Khushi that she will not consider a prank as a marriage. If Nani says 'No', Arnav was sure that he will have to woo two people at the same time and the very thought of it depressed him.

But all the depression of his, went out of the window as Arnav's eyes traveled towards his ravishing beauty dressed in a simple frilled red long skirt and a plain white shirt on top of that, who was bringing breakfast for probably herself, since Garima had left a note for them that there was board of directors meeting in their company and hence her presence was important.

" Here, take this breakfast, eat this and stop eating my brains." ordered Khushi, while a smile adorned Arnav's face who was hallucinating a Khushi flashing him a smile as she brought the spoon to his mouth to feed him.

" I thought that people dream in the night but it seems that Lucknow Ke Nawab, Have some other Jawab." heckled Khushi as she sat down opposite of Arnav to have her breakfast.

" What to do, yaar? Now when my love is so beautiful, I can't get enough of her or dreams of hers. Waise, what is this? Haan, it looks pretty fine. But usually, things which look amazing are not good for health. For example, Khushi Gupta." teased Arnav, who knew that Khushi cannot be quiet if someone teases her.

So what if she taunts him, Arnav just wanted her to keep talking to him, so that he can keep losing himself in her. Things you do in love, only a person in love can understand.

" Eat if you want or leave it. But don't eat my head or else you will see how bad I am for your health!" snapped back Khushi, while continuing to eat with angry looks plastered on her face.

" I was just kidding yaar. If you would have served me poison also naa, I would have eaten them happily. And this is just paratha." Arnav gave a naughty and flirtatious smile to Khushi, while made her frown even more as she said, " Whatever, Mr.Road-Side Romeo! Oh God! It is 11 PM, Jiji must have landed in Mumbai now!"

" So shall I pick my sister-in-law from the airport?" questioned Arnav, trying to impress Khushi in one way or other but seeing Khushi's expressions rapidly changing to those of anger he realized what sin he had committed by calling Khushi's sister as his sister-in-law.

" I mean ki should I pick up your sister, Khushi?" asked Arnav, trying to sound convincing to mellow Khushi's anger down.

" No thanks. Not all people are a burden on others like you, Mr.Raizada. My sister doesn't like anyone picking her up from airports." said Khushi while continuing to arrange Payal's room unknown of what storm she is going to bring along with her.

" Arre why do you always fight with me? As if I am the only one who is at fault." questioned Arnav, with a irritated pout on his face.

" Why? You feel like crying, Mr.Roothuru? I am bearing a big tumor acting like humor named Arnav Singh Raizada and you cannot bear a thin girl like me? Such a shame." taunted Khushi, while Arnav sighed wondering if Khushi even knew to talk without the tinge of sarcasm in her voice.

Sheesh Mahal, Lucknow

" Maa Ji, we actually have to inform you something very important about Chotte." said Arunima, while garnering courage to speak out what had happened in Mumbai to her mother, clearly.

" Yes, Arunima. Now what did my Chotte do? Don't you dare scold him okay?" warned Nani, with a warm smile on her face, which was possible to appear on her face only due to Arnav.

" Maa Ji, Actually our Chotte got..." started Arunima to tell out the truth when suddenly the manager of their company arrived there to speak with Nani.

" Arunima, if you don't mind let me complete the meeting first, because Kishanlal Ji is going to his native in Rajasthan for some days and this meeting is important." explained Nani, while Arunima with no other choice left had to agree to it with a curt nod.

" Hey Kanha Ji, if I am right please show me a way out! And I know that my son's love for Khushi is as genuine as Khushi herself. Please don't break his love and trust on love." prayed Arunima as she stood in front of the idols in the Puja Room,

Will God listen to Arunima? Or is there something else that destiny chose for Arnav and Khushi?

Hello my darling fairies,

I hope that you have enjoyed the update as much as I have enjoyed writing it. This chapter was probably one of those few chapters which came out effortlessly and easily. I never knew that I can flirt before writing this chapter. I mean as a writer I can write flirtatious dialogues but for guys, and in a pretty decent manner, I never knew that.

So going by the poll, most of you wanted Khushi to accept Arnav as her husband, well she will accept him as her husband after all this is an ArShi story. But for that there is sometime left because Arnav needs to woo his wife more because more storms are awaiting them.

the characters and scenes and dialogues all were perfect:)
