Just got around to watching yesterday's episode and boy oh boy, is this show testing my patience or what?! 😵 Except for the SwaSan scene, whatever I could bear to watch of the episode had me pulling my hair apart and mentally screaming throughout, I found it that bad. 😳 😆 I'm only putting up with this regressive crap because of SwaSan...let's see how much longer can I last.
First things first, the "click, frame and hang our photo in your room as proof for future need" dialogue of the one and only Sanskaar Maheshwari had me in splits 🤣 Oh dear, it was a wonderful start to the show...I had high expectations that went all phusss later but anyway, this was epic. Oh Sanky, I love you <3
Sanskaar is the only guy in the show who gives no crap and states things as they are without sugar coating or manipulating anything or anyone. He gives it to whoever needs one- be it Nagini, Lux ji or even our dear Swara. Here I digress but I loved how, when Swara was (err...is, even?) under the delusion that Ragini is not her dushman, Sanskaar very clearly stated that may be not for Swara but she's definitely Sanskaar's dushman and in fact, anyone who tries to harm Swara will be Sanskaar's enemy (hint to his mummy ji standing right there, may be?)...I feel he's the only one with some sort of a reality check in this show, baaki sab toh live under delusions. Like Swara, my dear, really? She's not your dushman? Yeah, you're right, she's worse than that...she tried to bloody kill you for a guy and can very well do so again, wake the hell up, Swara.
Moving on, the tent scene. You're right, Helly Shah stole the show there. I remember Helly from her debut show, Gulaal. For a dbutante, I found her brilliant and this girl has only improved from there, a job well done, indeed! She had the right mix of emotions and expressions in this scene- exactly what was needed. She showed the turmoil Swara was in beautifully. When she explained why the Sindoor holds so much importance for her, I felt for her, this was a big deal for her. But not to worry, at least it was the right guy who filled her maang, hopefully she'll realise it soon, and hopefully it won't be out of duty but dil se, that she'll realise so. When Sanskaar pulled swara towards him to explain his stance, wow, that intensity, and loved how he doesn't regret his actions one bit and would instead do it again and again if Lakshya so much as dares to to insult Swara again. Sanskaar has obviusly started to feel for her, though he does not realise that yet, consciously anyway. This was an amazing scene and my words really won't do justice to it...it was a good watch.
Rest of the episode was blah, tbh, and skipped through most of it. But I did love how Sanskaar is helping not only Swara but her family too, like a real, ideal son in law should. Him asking Ragini to get the hell out of there- loved that bit, he genuinely cares for Swara's family. Wonderfully put- They don't need a man to stand for them but to stand with them- and sanskaar would be exactly that man <3
Oh and that vicious Ragini, she has real problems that go beyond delusions of grandeur, like she has a way to justify all her acts. And she has the audacity to call Shomi her maa and Swara her behen...like really, the same sister you tried to kill and the same mother you literally just a moment ago got nearly arrested? Wow. Just bloody wow. Her crocodile tears, her justification about how she's fighting for herself and her hapiness for the first time- it frustrates me sooo much. I don't get it anymore- does she just act to be oh so innocent or does she actually believe she's innocent? Because if she actually believes it then it's even more messed up.
What's worse, I can tell already that she'll be easily forgiven and excused by the oh so mahaan Swara and Shomi- the two people who have constantly been wronged by this woman. Why does Ragini think everyone is out to get her and her happiness??
I hope to God people like Ragini don't exist in real life, and if they do, then that they get the right psychiatric treatment because it's dangerous for everyone around them. They attempt murder then try and justify it as self defense (well, self happiness defense, if that's a thing 😆) and even blame it on the person they attempted to kill. It's scary, dude. 😳
I think I'll stop, otherwise my rant will go on forever. Can't wait for your post on RP, that man finally spoke 🤣. Oh and your post on Lux ji and co...I have so much to say about them, I think I'll save it for that post. 😆
