In real sense, this guy is a revolution. I haven't seen the episode yet, but I understand the tactics of the CVs now.
There are three point of views shown here.

Samaj (DT, kanak, pandit and the rest of the people)

The so called samaj condemns the widows as cursed and burden. Widows should not be allowed to live a normal life with normal people. Widows are not allowed to talk to anyone with their face up and make eye contact. Widows can not live in the same house as the normal people who still have husbands alive. Widows are supposed to wear white only and can not wear any bright colors. Widows can not eat anything delicious, they have to eat boiled rice every day for the rest of their lives. WHY? just because they are widows, just because their husbands died.

Widows (Dhaani and the ashram ladies)

Then there are the actual widows, who are so battered by these ridiculous customs from this samaj that they themselves have accepted and come to believe that they are supposed to be cursed, that they should always follow these customs. WHY?? because the samaj makes them believe so. If they don't, whatever life they have left remaining after all this, this samaj will make that as miserable as hell also. And if anyone tries to mislead them away from this customs is evil *rakshas* who is trying to misguide them and lead them towards destruction. Or is trying to entrap them so that the samaj can accuse them.

Viplav (the revolution)

Viplav, doesn't know the customs of this samaj, and doesn't even acknowledge this samaj. He simply sees the person in front of him. For him, widows are people just as the rest of world. Therefore, he can have some fun with them. Pranking them, teasing them, but not with the intention to hurt but as play. He realizes that this act of his might hurt the other person, so he also apologizes and says sorry as this was just a prank fun. We are even. For us for samaj this is inappropriate, but for Viplav this is normal, WHY?? because for him there is no difference between him and the widows. He sees them as equal. with equal rights to have fun as he does. He sees them as having equal rights to safety and security and equal right to be helped and protected as him or anybody else. So, he goes out of his way, beyond what the samaj would think appropriate to help a widow out, to save her life.

awesome post..👏
.ever since i learnt the meaning of the name Viplav i have been excited as to how his love and thought processes are going to revolutionize not just his life or dhani's but also change the status quo which prevents a human being from living a decent life and finding second chances...
the society and even the widows ( who have internalized the inherent misogyny of them languishing away after the husband dies) need a reality check...Viplav is going to be phenomenal ( fingers crossed)...

hi yllscin , you wrote it beautifully I am 100% with Viplav things have to change for these ladies of the society everywhere as i know these rules and customs have changed all ready some places, where instead of supporting them only few people consider them employable and other injustices.

I think is just a mind set of people who think that its wrong to bring her in the temple and do all this. WHY?? why is it wrong.. what else can he do if there is no other place indoor where he can take her..??
Why is i wrong to bring a person inside a temple to save them??
to protect them?? whats wrong in that?? how does that tarnish the premises of the temple... does that in anyway make the temple unholy?? (unless maybe its unholy in the first place, seeing the people that run it!! monsters!!
he changed her wet sare to a dry one inside the temple... why do people take that in the wrong way... she was drowning or almost did.. water went into her body because she fell near the water.. Viplav gave her CPR (which includes mouth to mouth) whats wrong with that??!?!? i dont get .. 😕

why are people acting like this?? CVs shouldnt have shown this.. its too early in the show.. ?? okay, maybe.. whats nonsense in the show is the track of Tanya.. nothing between VIplav and Dhaani is nonsense...

atleast dont see it that way... I see tanya and Viplav sagai track and Shalu's engagement track nonsense... that has nothing to do with the show.

Agree with what you said. The huge uproar about what Viplav does and did in today's episode shows how he is disconnected with the samaj and does what he believes is correct. Yes he was wrong when he played the prank with alcohol but he was also right when he was fighting for their ashram. And no he wasn't wrong in what he did today and when he stands up for and with Dhabi in the coming episodes, that will also be right because he doesn't follow the rulkes of society blindly.

You took the words right out of my mouth. What he did is called basic first aid n CPR ... Doesn't matter where it happens, in a mandir or somewhere else. And I bet you if the cvs had shown the same thing after viplav hasd developed feelings for her and found her in as forest or a hut, no one would complain, rather they would be talking about how great their chemistry us.

Wonderful thought

You should watch that scene(Temple ) very carefully. - This Temple Scene portrayal is based on Samaj

First he is seeing a a lady who fell in pool in an unconscious state and after which he came to know that it is Dhaani - So his action is justified

He is saving a girl in front of her mother (god ) So according to me nothing wrong portrayal for me .
