Well Harshu !
I am starting from your first thread, which happens to be based on the first episode. :)

Rage in Jalal's eyes. He was shown as a true imperialist out to achieve his goal of conquering as much land as possible.

Jodha was as usual shown as the princess we all know her to be.

The highlight was the contrast shown in the nature of both these people.

Jalal
- "ke seene mein dil hi nahi hain, galat jagah nishana lagaya tumne."

Amrish Puri's voice of introducing a 15 year old Jalal followed by the fiercely galloping horse. OMG.! It gave goosebumps. I have liked this Jallad version of Jalal also. This shows him to be the warrior he was in reality..

I also liked the manner in which he gives one LAST chance to the person , but beheads him later. Again something very much in sync with those times.

Tum surma ho Jalal, Fateh karna tumhara majhab
Yeh Shamsheer tumhari baandi
Sultanate tumhari chahat aur beraham khauff tumhari shauharat
Fateh kar lo is mulk ko badal daalo is Sarjameen - i - Hindustan ka Naksha

Jodha -
" Ek aisa shastra jo Akbar ke seene ko chalni kar sakta tha"

Her introduction was in complete contrast with that of Akbar. As usual, pigeon / dove was shown with her - which depicted the values that lady was known for.

Amer ka Nur
Registan Ki Ret par Likhi ek kavita thi Jodha

I also noticed that Rajasthani language they empoyed earlier. Like the dialogue of Mainavati - "Katthein! Bhaagi Ja rahi hai Jodha"

Later, they dropped all such references.!
Anyways, it was good to hear the Rajasthani music with such dialogues.

Tuldaan scenes - A treat to watch. :)

The episode ended with Jodha knowing about Jalal --

Kaun hai in sainikon ka sardar ?
Mughal sena ka sirf ek hi sardar hai - Padshah Jalal ud din Muhammed AKbar.
Kehte hain uske seene mein dil nahi hai
Uski nazar mein jeevan ka koi mol nahi, Maut ka farishta hai wo

But the highlight of the episode was the conversation which happened at the tomb of Akbar. The voice of Jalal and Jodha - appeared as if pristine, without any alteration.

Since, the episode started with Jodha and Jalal at Akbar's tomb, here are a few lines which are inscribed on his tomb in Sikandra. Many might have visited it, but i am sure, not many thought of finding what is actually written in the inscriptions of Akbar's tomb.

I found the last line interesting..
I don't have complete translations. Here are a few lines ::

"
Written in the name of the King of Kings - The ruler of eternity..
The one who is exempted from non existence..

He Created two worlds...
One he concealed from others and another he let remain open...
"

This was another dialogue , but from episode 2..

Hamein nahi pata tha jo kahani shuru hone wali thi, ye uska aagaz tha
Hamein nahi pata tha jo kahani shuru ho gai thi, uska anjaam kya hoga

Harshu,

The starting of almost every show is like that only. They start with a bang as all energies are focussed on making it a success. Till the time, it is fresh we can watch it. Still lots of episodes to come which made it memorable.

Thanks Ayushi.
