Helloo Ppl..😃😃...I am Nikhila from Kerala..😊😊..I joined this forum today only..This is my FIRST TOPIC in this forum and 541st topic in IF as a whole...😃😃...I hv been part of 39 forums by nw(including Asian forum)since 2009 in IF..😊😊..And out of 39 forums,this is the 27th forum where i am making my topics...😊😊..And this topic is made coz of my NEW FOUND LOVE FOR KOREAN DRAMAS&KOREAN FILMS..😃😃...
Its going to be a long long post coz ek toh am aadat se majboor n 2ndly i HAVE TO express my overflowin new found love for K dramas n shows..😆😆..
Firstly lemme say how i ended up in this magical world of Korean Dramas&Films..😳😳...In my 28 years of life,i hv watched countless shows by nw as i hv alwz been tv serial freak..😆😆... Though am frm Kerala,since childhood i am into hindi films n later to hindi serials..!! I hv watched only very very very few films n serials in my mother tongue language-Malayalam..!! It ws alwz HINDI SERIALS N HINDI FILMS-my favs...My frnz used to tell me to watch non indian shows/films..But i never did coz i ws ALWAYS HAPPY n CONTENT with my desi serials n shows..😳😳..Being crazy for hindi shows n films-is nothin new for me..!! But there were 3 shows which took me to HEIGHTS OF ADDICTION- MILEY JAB HUM TUM aka MJHT(star one),YEH HAI MOHABBATEIN aka YHM(when it ws @11pm slot,star plus) and KAISI YEH YAARIAAN aka KY2(mtv)..😊😊..MJHT is my most fav show..Post MJHT end in 2010,i never thought i could get addicted to any shows where addiction level is same or similar to MJHT..!! But it happened...YHM & KY2 n i fell in love ya say got addicted to them last year-2014..!! Due to some unavoidable reasons,i finally gave up on YHM & KY2 in Aug 2015..!! The void created by MJHT ws alwz there when it ended in 2010!! And when i ended quittin YHM n KY2 unfortuntately in same month,its lik double the void i felt when MJHT ended..!! I do see 4-5 shows currently bt still NOTHING ws helping me.....I ended up missin my favs more n more..!!
And it ws in such time,i came to know the MAGIC OF KOREAN DRAMAS&FILMS..!! 5 days back,i decided to see one korean show..!! It has to be the MOST RANDOMEST DECISION i ever took...I still donno from where this idea popped up in my head coz never before i had evn 1% interest to see non indian shows/films as lik i told before i ws way too happy with my desi shows n films.!! When i started watchin KY2 last year,i heard it ws inspired from Korean drama BOF..!! So tht ws the only name i knw in korean dramas..!! But as am way too addicted to KY2,i hv no interes to see BOF..😆😆..Though some of my frnz alwz used to say watch BOF,bt i alwz denied..😆..Also some of my frnz used to tell i should watch Korean shows n she had said i would love it since am a love stories fan..!! So i still donno hw i decided,bt i felt i should try K-dramas n films..!! And now i feel i am SO HAPPY n PROUD to take tht MOST RANDOM DECISION out of the blue five days back...🥳🥳🥳
Its been 5 days & till nw i ended up seeing 3 Korean Dramas-Playful Kiss,Personal Taste,Coffee Prince & 3 Korean Films-My Little Bride,Seducing Mr Perfect,He Was Cool...😃😃😃...Ever since i joined IF in 2009 for MJHT,i love making topics for love stories i love..!! I wsnt aware abt this Asian shows forum before n so i ws feeling very sad coz i thought theres no forum for K dramas n coz of tht i wsnt able to make topics esp for the 3 AMAZING AMAZING K DRAMAS i saw till nw..!! 1)PLAYFUL KISS
5 days back when i decided to watch K dramas,i searched for TOP 10 ROMANTIC K DRAMAS in YT n in the list its Playful Kiss which first caught my attention coz of its catchy title..😉😉...I thought i would watch just 1-2 epis n then leave..😆😆..I alwz used to wonder how can ppl who dnt undertstand hindi language,can LOVE n GET ATTACHED to hindi serials just with subtitles..!! But i realised tht when i started watchin Playful Kiss..😊😊!! Only for first few min,i ws findin difficulty to manage a sync b/w watchin scenes n readin subtitles..!! And by the time first epi ended,i got comfortable n i decided to watch 2nd n went go on n on...😲😆.. Its very normal for me to get senti n cry watchin shows/films..But never i thought i would do same for a language i dnt understand..😲😆...I did cry a lot coz the love of Oh Ha Ni for Seung Jo totally touched my heart...😳😳...And i cried durin happy scenes too where this tough nut-Seung Jo tried hard to hide his love for Oh Ha Ni ended up expressin via words/gestures..😳😳...I watched 23 epis n 7 special epis at a go..!! There ws one epi-Epi 8 or 9 without subtitle..!! But i watched tht epi too n as by the time the connection i felt strong towards lead chars-i could still get the feels of chars evn in a epi WITHOUT SUBTITLES..😃😃...Gosh i got TOTALLY HOOKED to K dramas world by the time Playful Kiss ended..!! My first Korean show n i ws SWEPT AWAY by the magic of intense love story of Seung Jo & Oh Ha Ni....I ws ROYALLY IMPRESSED by characterization,story telling,acting n ofcourse the wonderful chemistry of lead actors.....My fav scenes-1)Rain Scene-Confession+Kiss...aww it ws TOTALLY MAGICAL.....Oh Ha Ni hv alwz expressed her unconditional love for Seung Jo..But to see Seung Jo finally surrenderin to his feelings for Oh Ha Ni n conveyin the same to her with his words n kiss ws HEAVENLY....And it did made me remember Rain Scene-Confession+Kiss of my dearest MaNan of KY2....2)In one among special episodes,i loved hw he made one thing clear to her HAQ SE n also with SO MUCH OF LOVE reflectin in his words n eyes-"You are the only one for me"....3)THE FIRST KISS...aww it ws SIZZLING n ofcourse an IMPROMPTU PLAYFUL move by hero n it ws coz he couldn stand his lady love can give up on him soon..😉😉..So mirchi laga n usne sahi tareeke se attack bhi ki by makin her comeback to love track..😆😉..I felt so happy for her as this ws actually a BEST SURPRISE for her in tht moment as almost lost all hopes of gettin things normal with him..😳😳...4)The FIRST PIGGYBACK scene where he ws carryin her on his back..bt wht made it spl for me coz of the UNEXPECTED GUTTER TEASE from him to her...😲😆...Also the way he made her amuse n speechless with his GUTTER TAUNTS once a while later in few scenes ws EPIC...😲🤣...And i hv to say Seung Jo toh BAAP NIKLA of my TWO GUTTER DESI HEROS-KK & Manik..😆😆...5)The balcony scene post rain confession-when two of them in black...aww tht scene ws CUTENESS TO DEATH.....There r many more moments which i loved bt these 5 r my top favs..!! Overall i loved hw this love story ws presented..!! Loved Oh Ha Ni's unconditional love for him n hw she won Seung Jo's heart n bcame THE REASON y Seung Jo ended up bcomin a Doctor..!! Loved how Seung Jo who though tried his best to stay not affected by Oh Ha Ni,many times ended up smitten away by her,her thoughts n also hw he bcame MORE EXPRESSIVE post marriage by making her feelin spl n LOVED..😳😳..And yes thnx to this show,i got an actor who got added to the list of FIRSTs/SPECIAL ACTORS i will love n be fan of n thts KIM HYUN JOONG......Hes the first non indian actor i fell in love with...He totally won my heart as Seung Jo of Playful Kiss....Nywz to conclude i can say Playful Kiss is one of the memorable love stories i hv ever seen n ofcourse a very spl show for me as it my first korean show which made me aware of the magical korean drama world......Also among all the K shows&K films i mentioned in this topic,Playful Kiss is my 2nd fav...😃😃...And yes i hv to say i ws so much reminded of my beloved MayUr of MJHT seeing this show esp exam track of MayUr which ws similar to the track here where Oh Ha Ni's promotion to the special class where Seung Jo ws present in school days..!! This show came during the time MJHT ws ending...Also Seung Jo's mom used to remind me Mayank's mom Shilpa of MJHT..😳😳...And i so wish for desi version of this show n i feel Parth-Niti[KY2 leads]r SO PERFECT for desi versions of Seung Jo n Oh Ha Ni.....2)MY LITTLE BRIDE
Now tht i ws maha impressed by Korean Dramas start with Playful Kiss,i thought of watchin Korean films n it ws this film which caught my attention in the list of romantic korean films i searched in YT..If Playful Kiss had love of female char MORE for male lead,this film had opp as male lead ka love ws MORE compared to female..!! I loved how Sang-min ended up expressin his love for Bo-eun many times via his gestures n indirect words..😳😳...And i loved the stage confession scene in the end.....A cute love story n impressive memorable start to my korean films journey..!!

This ws the 2nd Korean Drama i saw..!! This love story of Park Kae-In and Jeon Jin Ho ws another beautiful intense passionate love story n i ws moved to tears at many scenes...😭👏...The chemistry b/w lead actors were AMAZING.....My fav scenes-1)The heart touching confession by Park Kae-In where he expressed her love for Jin Ho via words n Jin Ho expressed his love via the bone crashing hug n kiss.....2)The entire night scene where he took care of her when she ws not feelin well coz of her periods ws BEAUTIFUL.....He din realise his love for her-bt the way he tried to ease her pain by travellin back to his home in midnight to get medicine or the way he caressed her tummy n tried to sing lullaby when she said hw her ex frnd used to do similar who took care of Park Kae In in a frndly motherly manner or the way he din slept in night till she din get her sleep n most importantly the concern he had for her,the pain he felt seein her in pain n the LOVE he had for her in evry thing he did for her tht night ws truly BEAUTIFUL..⭐️⭐️...3)The NAPE KISS SCENE.. gosh tht scene ws SO SENSUOUS SIZZLING HOT n ofcourse VERY ROMANTIC.....Overall this love story ws truly endearing to watch n truly loved their journey frm being annoying strangers to inseperable soulmates..⭐️⭐️...

This ws the 2nd Korean film i saw...😊😊...And i hv to say among 3 K dramas n 3 K films i saw till nw,its HERO of this film i found HOTTEST of all..😉🤪...Truly a PERFECT EYE CANDY...😆😉... Love story ws cute entertaining n lovely to see...😃😃...Loved the short cute sweet love story of Min-June & Robin..😳😳...
5)HE WAS COOL
This ws the 3rd Korean film i saw..😊😊...Another cute beautiful love story...Story ws cliche,bt loved the way of story tellin n the ending surprise element which revelead the connection which the leads had since their childhood...😳😳..
6)COFFEE PRINCE
This is the latest-cum-3rd Korean drama i watched..😃😃...And out of all shows n films i mentioned here-this is my ABSOLUTE FAV.....When i started watchin i never knew i ws in for an EPIC ENTERTAINING CRAZIEST RIDE...😳😳...Its NEVER an understatement when i say this love story of Choi Han-Kyul & Go Eun-Chan is the MOST MOST CRAZIEST MOST HILARIOUS MOST CUTEST and ofcourse one of the bestest love stories i hv evr seen in ny language...👏👏👏...I dnt remember when ws the last time when i ws this much laughed to my heart out seein these two ABSOLUTELY MAD CRAZY souls- Eun Chan & Han Kyul n their HATKE LOVE STORY..!! They r MAD bole toh they r THE MAD MAD characters...😆😆...Kudos to the actors-Gong Yoo & Yoon Eun-Hye for literally puttin their heart n soul to Han Kyul and Eun Chan..👏👏...It ws an EPIC TREAT to see these madly in love with each other n their nok jhoks n teasing sessions n romantic scenes.....This couple is one of the few couples whose scenes i can watch ON REPEAT for many times n NEVER GET BORED..!! For a love story lover lik me,this ws NOTHING LESS THAN A JACKPOT type love story..!! Gosh i hv SUCH CONTENT HAPPINESS watchin this PERFECT love story......I truly thank my LUCKY STARS tht i could end up experience this GEM OF A SHOW..🥳🥳...Am epic happy tht evn though late i still ended up watching this 8 years old show......I hv so many many favs in this show,bt still hv to mention some BESTEST SCENES of this show..!! Heres the wonderful scenes which r my absolute favs-1)Han Kyul is NOT GAY...But his love for Eun-Chan ws SO DEEP n SO STRONG tht he ws evn ready to be GAY thinking Eun Chan ws boy¬ gal n tht ws visible in his confession scene..He took great courage n confessed to Eun-Chan tht HE LOVE EUN-CHAN n hes ready to take this relation forward come wht may...And tht KISS which sealed their confession ws CHERRY on the cake.....Eun-Chan ws already in love with him,bt she din had courage to confess to him.. And his unexpected confession ws the best thing could hv happened to her then..!! 2)Loved how Eun-Chan took care of Han Kyul when he ws its vulnerable low phase as he came to knw truth of his biological mom..!! Eun-Chan ws hvin tough time already controllin her growin love towards Han Kyul..But when she saw he needed her support,love n care the most then-she din waste a sec..!! She ws there with lik a strong pillar of support n the KISS she gave him to comfort him ws truly surprisin yet heart touchin gesture n BEAUTIFUL...👏👏 3) The Beach Scene..their sweet talks,silly nok jhoks n in the end the way he ws adoring Eun-Chan who ws sleeping on the beach n trying to be close to her DESPITE being in the MISUNDERSTANDING he had then of Eun-Chan being boy n not gal..!! For few seconds,he shed all the controls n his growin love for her ws so endearin to see..... 4)The HUG scene where Han Kyul who ws almost loosin his sanity coz of his awareness on growing love towards an "apparent" guy Eun-Chan n ws trying his max to stay away frm Eun-Chan ended up requesting Eun-Chan to HUG him......Madam ka haal bhi kuch kam nahi tha n tht HUG REQ ws lik an out of the blue bouncer thrown on her...😆😆..She literally din knw wht to react n evn before she reacted,he took her to a bone crashing hug......Damn these two so cutest then..!! 5)The UNIQUE FOREPLAY in the consummation scene...😆😉...I sware i hvnt seen AISA HATKE n EXTREMELY FUNNY foreplay before..😆😆...All those wacky things she did to convey "indirectly" tht she wanna stay in his home tht nite n his reactions to her harkatein ws ENTERTAINMENT ENTERTAINMENT ENTERTAINMENT..🤣🤣🤣...Srsly inn dono ko meuseum mein rakhna chahiye for being THIS HOPELESS CRAZY PPL..😆😆...Gosh..i can go on n on n i feel i would end up writing all scenes...😆😆...Truly one hell of a love story👏👏...I enjoyed it to bits n i wanna see again n again...!! Also LOVED hw they showcased some BEAUTIFUL frndships too-be it b/w leads or other chars...👏👏...!!
