Grand reception awaits Amit Paul

CSWO opposes Govt invite to SET

Shillong: The CSWO has opposed the decision of the State Government to invite Sony Entertainment Television (SET) to the function to felicitate Indian Idol 3 finalist Amit Paul at Shillong.

"The public in general are shocked at the decision," the CSWO said in a statement issued here on Friday.

"We welcome Amit home, but definitely not Sony. If the Government wants a good sound system, it is readily available in Shillong," CSWO said.

I didn't get t heir concern. how is sony responsible for the results. Sony did their best to promote AMit wayyyyyyy more then Prashant. Judges clearly said they want Amit. there was over all more coverage on Amit then Prashant. then how can they put all the blame of his failure on Sony?

they r not blaming sony 4 amits loss...they r just quest the lack of transparency in declaration of the results...n r angry abt it
n as 4 "Sony doin their best to promote AMit wayyyyyyy more then Prashant.".......im sorry i dont agree....im repeating myself again but .....it was just towards the end of the season that amit got his due as far as equal air tym n promotions were concerned......in the beg (auditions, theatre, piano rounds n even the galas) he was ignored at the cost of other contestants....
