That Sindoor Dhan ceremony was the perfect symbolism of Gayatri's condition post marriage. Everyone around thinks Ranaji has filled Gayatri's maang. But she and Ranaji knows the truth. The maang was not filled with Sindoor.
Similarly she has become Rani Gayatri Devi in front of the world. All the rights the rani should have she is expected to have as far as the society goes.
But then she is a woman actually having no rights. That picture of Gayatri with maang filled is a picture created to please the world by Rajmata. The great illusion. Ranaji has not created it. It is for Gayatri to walk that path and create that picture.
