Try to imagine your self in the most romantic situation... It will help...
What would have you done or what have you wished for..

For me personally, writing is an art that is comprised of your heart's emotions and your mind's imagination. It's something that comes from deep within. Almost like a voice of your inner consciousness of what feels right to you, how you would personally want for things to be and how would you want to react or tackle a particular situation.

Writing requires something inspirational. Something that touches the deepest corner of your soul in either a happy or a disturbing way and you wish to let those emotions flow through your words.
I haven't found myself in a similar situation too many times, but I've often lacked motivation or just that freeze of the mind where I haven't been able to come around to write something. I would suggest you spend time with yourself at a rather quiet and peaceful place. Somewhere away from the loudness of the worldly surroundings. Somewhere where there is enough silence for you to be able to hear the voices of yourself within. Perhaps even try closing your eyes and absorb what the natural surroundings is trying to speak to you. Sometimes in the subtle melodies of the environment, we discover a new language of love, affection, friendship or any emotion or relation for that matter. Sometimes looking at two birds interact, we find great symbolism and new perceptions of life, people and the relationships we share amongst each other.

It all may sound a bit corny, but I just feel whilst coffee and tea can certainly help keep your senses awake, but a breeze of fresh air opens up the windows of our imagination. Explore colour, shades of the world, draw in images from the world around you. The more you feel alive and full of emotion, the easier it would be for you to feel that sense of connection with your pen, thoughts and words again.

Hope it helps and good luck with every masterpiece you paint with your imagination in the future 😊

Writing is art and there is no science to it, so to overcome writer's block you must look for inspiration and motivation from within your self! You must try everything and the trick is to find something that works for you!

Think about what made you write in the first place, what inspired you originally and how to get back to that same mental state! The thing that has always worked for me is getting my blood pump in my veins, exercise (running) and if all fails I read a book, in your case rom com genre, if your looking for romance novels try any mills and boon books, it always does the trick for me :)

J, the fact that your writing about writers block, you're half way there cause your writing :-)
