Part - 54
As the presentation proceeds Maan was not even able to listen to it and he also doesn't have any idea about this, it's completely new for him and he haven't yet gone thru the plans yet...
After the presentation he has to tackle the clients queries and he was thinking about letting Adi handle them, he never passes his work to someone else but now maybe Adi would have better insights, Maan keeps thinking about that night and the after effects...
And he is also scared about coming to KC and working with that stupid Geet...
He keeps thinking hard to find a loop hole and seng that girl off...
Now he looks at Adi who is also equally unaware of the proceedings...
The presentation is about to end and everyone is ready with their questions...
Maan whispers ...: Adi, you take over from here
Adi: sir, mein? Lekhin sir aap?
Maan: Adi, I'm the boss, come on
Geet just enters and all eyes are in her only including MSK's...
Geet: Adi sir
Adi: ha ha ha ha ha Geet
She comes in with some papers...
Maan's anger turns towards her, it's all because of her that Maan is feeling like an alien in his own KC...
Maan thinks that Geet should pay for this...afterall she is here to work, haina? let her do the job...
Maan: ohh come Ms.Geet, you have just come on time
Geet: sir!
Maan: gentlemen meet Ms.Geet, my secretary, and today she will be taking over this for me, haina Geet?
Geet is confident, she has done her home work...
She had been taking notes of this presentation only and has come prepared...
She gives a set of papers to Maan where she had noted down every detail of the Noida project, she has took the help of some staff and collected her inputs from them so that she would be able to answer Maan when he needs anything...
Geet even has spotted a mistake and has highlighted it...
Maan gets thru the briefs and gets to know all the necessary details...
Mr.Kapoor senior has also caught the mistake and he asks about it indirectly...
Maan had already found the solution after looking at the other possibilities and from his experience he easily inpresses Mr.Kapoor with his smartness, but without Geet's help he would have been left I the lurch searching for the mistake first...
Though Geet didn't have the full knowledge about the construction business she is capable of finding the mistake in the presentation which she thought would help the boss and she quickly prepared a report for him on that...
With that Maan cleared all the doubts in the clients mind and they decided to give this deal to KC itself without any more queries, they felt that KC has got the honesty to accept the flaws and come up with solutions immediately instead of trying to cover up their mistakes...
Geet also cleared a few queries and the clients liked her confidence...
She handled the situation like an experienced person though she is only a few hours experienced...
Even Maan didn't expect her to be such an asset for KC, he must admit that she got the deal for KC...
Though his heart is rejoicing Geet's success his mind warns him not to get carried away from a single act of brilliance, this could be her lucky day and she light have got the help from Dadima, after all Dadi hired her, haina?
And she passes her test with a A+...
Maan wanted to show that she is incapable and is not worth any job but she has proved him completely wrong...she never stops surprising him, whether its' her childish innocence or her flawless beauty or her smartness...the only thing that irritates Maan is her Khrish story...
When she gets into her Khrish world she is intolerable, that too when she calls him Khrish...otherwise she seems to be a perfect competitor even for the MSK, haina?
And all this doesn't help the fact that she is mentally instable or she is incapable of thinking on her own...
This makes the job even more difficult for Maan, now how on earth will he find the reason to fire her...she has saved his day already...and this is her first day at KC...
Even Adi is surprised...as far as he knew from Pinky Adi had to help Geet and save her from Maan sir, but here she is saving him at the right moment...
The clients are happy with the proceedings and they are looking forward to working with KC, they praise MSK for training his staff so well and for their discipline and perfection...
Maan doesn't know what to do now?
Adi congratulates Geet for the successful meeting but Maan's ego stops him from saying a word of praise for that stupid girl...
All the staff wish Geet and Geet is only thinking about her Khrish...she just wants to know what he thinks about her...
She keeps looking at his direction and there is no change in his face, it looks rock cold and also he is frustrated at his helpless plight...
Maan leaves the conference hall without a word ignoring Geet completely...
Geet doesn't feel good at all, after all the hard work she didn't even receive a single word, "good job Geet" from her Khrish...it's very disappointing for her but this is not going to stop her from her mission, she is here for a goal and she will attain it even if it takes a whole life for her to get her Khrish back...
Geet is preparing herself for the afternoon meeting with Mr.Saxena...
She gets the help of Adi and Pinky...
She got all the details and got ready for the meeting, even though she knew that it was not part of her job she wanted to give her best for KC for she doesn't consider that she is another paid employee here working for money, she is here for her Khrish and after coming to Mumbai she knows how much Khrish loves his work, which means she has to love it too, haina?
Geet is no architect yet she wants to do it for Khrish, if this is what Khrish's life is then this is her life too...she has to get used to it and also learn to do it with the same passion as her Khrish...
Adi is always there to help Geet and Geet is a quick learner...she knew the needs of the client as this is no bigger than a common man's dream, a lovely home filled with joy where the family lives happily with all the loved ones is every man's wish, and Mr.Saxena is not here for any business comitments this time but it's rather more personel, yes, he too wants to bulid a home it seems...
Adi doesn't even remember when KC did such small projects, KC has seen this enormous growth and there is no time to look back, they have been doing only big business now, they don't have time for building houses now...they are into huge shopping complexes, Airport, Metro station and much more...
Geet comes to know that the Saxenas are very close to the Khuranas just like Mr.Khanna...
Mr.saxena is one of the old clients and is a valuable customer for KC, Adi tells Geet that KC is doing this only for friendship and MSK wouldn't want any mistakes specially in this one...
But MSK as always is confident that this should be child'a play for KC...
Adi also feels the same way and asks Geet not to worry much about this project as there won't be any problem at all for KC to handle it...
But Geet doesn't want to take it easy for this is her first day and after all the praises she received from The Kapoors also Maan is not impressed at all and she wants to prove to him that she is not a pagal and she is also capable of doing stuff...she wants to show him that she is not here b'coz of Dadi's recommendations but she is here on her merits...
She has always wanted Khrish to know about her and she also wants him to believe that his Angel is as good as he wishes her to be, she wants to help him for a change as she has been at the receiving end all the while, this is time for her to return it, haina?
She thinks that Maan ignored her in the morning as he was not happy with her work and she needs to work harder to win his appreciation...she knows that he rkhrish always sets the standards higher and she also likes to challenge herself always...
She may be a dreamer but even Kalam sir has asked to keep dreaming for they are the reason for our success...at times being a dreamer helps for they are fully dedicated to whatever they do, whether it a job or love...they keep thinking about it 24*7...
Geet is ready but Maan is all confused to what's happening around him and he has completely lost it, it's definitey not his day...he wants this day to end soon so that he could get rid of his trouble namely Geet Handa...
Mr.Saxena arrives and Geet goes to receive him at the entrance itself, she considers him much more than just a client as she knew that she is a family friend of the Khuranas...
Geet: welcome to KC uncle
She calls him uncle rather than sir and Mr.Saxena kind of liked that warm welcome for him too it's like home coming for he had been visiting KC since 30 yrs...
All look at Geet and mock her hospitality for this should be a more formal welcome and Geet has not stepped out of her house is seemed...
But Mr.Saxena loved her smiling face and her warmth...
Mr.Saxena: beta, naam kya hai tera?
Now it's a surprise for the staff for Mr.Saxena instantly liked Geet...and he doesn't look like a London businessman but a Desi old man...
Geet too liked him as he called her beta with affection just like her papaji...
Geet: Geet uncle
As she takes him to Maan's cabin Maan himself comes out of his cabin to receive him...MSK too likes his Sax uncle, that's what hecalled him in childhood...
And they always stayed at Mr.Saxena's place whenever they were in London...
Maan: welcome back uncle
Maan offers his hand for a shake but Mr.Saxena pulls and hugs him...
Maan is like his elder son...
Mr.Saxena : hare bablu, tu toh bahut bade ho gaye ho, ab toh iss Sax uncle ko bhi bhool gaye?
Maan is embarrassed, bablu is his childhood nickname, and he doesn't want uncle to call him like that anymore, look at him, he has grown taller than uncle too, and uncle calling him in front of everyone, specially Geet is not at all OK with Maan...
Here he is trying to scare her with his DD avtar and uncle spoiling his image totally, woh bhi uss pagal ke samne, haina?
Now lets wait and watch what happens to bablu, our own MSK...
