Why so much dislike towards Toshis singin

Why does the majority here not like toshis singing? Id like to know the reasons...😛
I dont really see anything wrong with his singing, hes quite good actually..even tho i might not be his big fan,i will still not deny the fact that hes a good singer ...but ive read posts saying that he sucks, cannot sing, etc... (please forget the comment he made, it doesnt really matter to me, the intention couldve been different, it mightve come out sounding wrong, who knows, dont care)...please just comment on his singing...😃

I a not against him...... some of the songs he sang really well and some were good bad or very bad.... thts it 😳

He is over hyped and is effecting other singer who are equally good or even better.

Those who are saying Toshi is not good singer, they are all belongs to the VOI Agni judges group, or their favorite is some one else. I tell u in all the VOI the best singers are Toshi, Irfan and Asrpreet. Other are not at all fit for singing, they are all bathroom singer like our sardar with no sur and Harshit can only sing only songs which does not have a real sur and he cannot pronounce words properly, he forgot the songs several times and in that show he got highest votes(Something fishy), he is there only because of Agni Judges and neutral judge.

Toshi is the real singer who can sing the originally indian songs also, which other contestants cannot.

Toshi is a very great singer, rare talent u can find in all the talent shows.

I find Toshi the best in SVOI!! 😳 😛 has a really powerful voice...brings a feel to the song...and is a very good singer!!! 😛 👏 My favs are Toshi and Irfan! 😃

I believe Toshi is the best singer on VOI :)
He really has proved himself to be a versatile singer. Be it "Teri Deewani" to "Ramta Jogi" to "Kaho Na Kaho", he has performed to the mark and is able to give the other competitors a tough challenge. As for Harshit...I just believe he has a wonderful voice and thats about it. He is a good singer but he has never sung a "sargam" to prove himself. ( I am not sure if that is the correct musical term!!). One can tell that Tosh is a VERY WELL trained singer. He is even able to change the tempo of the songs with simple ease!

toshi is the best singer in VOI!

He is an awsome singer, and I waz really sad wn I saw him being voted out... the only problem I had with him waz wn he waz doin the vote appeal in the wild card round... he said dat he has been singin the bar etc for his survival in mumbai... I dont think he had to say dat coz datz like emotionally gettin people to vote for him... If true talent waz to get the max vote, it wud definitely hav been either Toshi or Abhas...

I'm neither judging anyone here nor do I aim to change anybody's opinion since music is probably most about what touches your heart and what doesn't .Im just sharing my 2 cents on what I have noticed and voicing the questions that I have had for a long time.

I have liked Irfan, Harshit, Abhilasha and Abhas in the earlier stages of VOI but my respect and admiration for toshi's talent has grown with every performance of his and outgrown all the likeness that I had for others. I still believe all of these are very good singers, it's just that toshi is better than them. I don't believe in degrading or bringing someone down to praise my favorite. Why do some people have to degrade toshi if he's not their favorite? Can't we have some respect for talent? Or are we so insecure about our favorites that only by bringing someone else down could we take our fav to the top?

I have always been shocked with all the toshi-hate on this forum. In my day-to-day life, I have never seen a single person dislike even the slightest part of his singing, let alone write essays on how he sucks. There was not a single person I know who watches VOI and wasn't reduced to a puddle of tears when he got eliminated. We cannot vote for him but all of us pray for his success devotedly. Everybody is entitled to their opinion, of course, but there's a difference in not liking someone and hating them. Whether its people that I interact with daily or the celebrity judges who have come so far on the show, be it film stars or veterans from music industry, everybody has been impressed and touched by his singing. How could so many experts be wrong? How could his singing touch our hearts and make us smile, want to dance or cry and affect others in a completely different sort of way? Different people, different strokes? Fine!

Anyways, since he's back I've no complaints for now. I'm really thankful to all those who voted for him and brought him back. you all gave him another chance to take one step further towards the way to fulfill his dreams, and me to watch the show again. 😊 Please keep voting for him

Nobody on this forum has any particular dislike for Toshi's singing, in fact he is very much appreciated as much as any other contestants on the show. In fact there are more hate topics & Posts on Abhilasha & Sumitra for no fault of theirs, than on Toshi.

The disapproval of most of the forum members is actually directed towards the unprofessional conduct of the show producers & director in arranging a farcical exercise called the wild card which is definitely unfair as far as the remaining contestants on the show is concerned.

Now coming to Toshi, we all know that he is a top class singer who has given soul stirring performances consistently on the show just like the other contestants and that is what makes this show all the more interesting and competitive if viewed solely for the sake of the like able contestants, ignoring all other horrors that have been unleashed by the judges & the producer/director.

Some things come to my mind regarding Toshi and if somebody can pass this message to him i would be grateful for them.

Toshi should try to think beyond SVOI and seriously consider pursuing Classical singing given his musical background & a suitable voice for Hindustani Shastriya sangeet which needs young vocalists like him. It would be better for him if he undergoes tutelage under the stalwarts of Hindustani classical music like Pt Jasraj or from the luminaries of the famous Jaipur gharana.

He lamented during the elimination episode about not liking to go back to the gandgi, but bollywood music is place which looks more murkier than the gandgi he is aware of. He would be lost in the big bad world of Hindi film looking for a chance with the plethora of upcoming talents & budding singers in the wings awaiting their turn. So it is really a long long queue ahead of him, luck & influence being the clinching factors over real talent.

I know roti, kapda, makan are the prime considerations for any human being but is there any guarantee that SVOI is right destination for acquiring these basic necessities, what if he doesn't make it to the top, he will be again stranded with a bleak future?

He and his equally talented brother Sharib could form a Hindustani sangeet jodi in the footsteps of the Gundecha brothers, the dagar brothers etc etc and be the new doyens of a great musical tradition of India.
