Yes,i feel both partners contribute equaly to a team's success. It is inevitable that one person is stronger in a team and knows more songs. But the other person shld show his worth at least 1out of 5 times.
I thought it should be but the lil champ forerunners navin and juhi seem to go against this theory where the team heavily relies on one player. Do you think this is fair???
yes, navin and juhi go against this theory. But i think we shld look at this from a
different perspective.Navin, being paired with Juhi won ATGC 5 times. My personal opinion is,had he been paired with someone stronger,he wld not have lost the sixth time!wht i'm saying is they won coz he was brilliant,if he had got more support from his partner, they'd have never lost!!!This is just a perspective. In other words, navin has almost single handedly steered them to victory on numerous occasions. But this will not sustain..unless Juhi Jr picks up or some qayamat hapens they will very likely, lose the finals.
Does being a silent partner contribute by being the moral support ???
Silent partners do contribute to a team's success, but sleeping partners don't!ok,maybe i'm being too harsh here, juhi is a kid..... Whts is actually moral support? In my opinion," moral support is the psychological advantage gained by a person, secure in the knowledge that, in the event he/she is not able to answer a qusetion his partner will do a back up and save him at least 1 in 2 times."This is moral support.
Navin has to feel that Juhi Jr will take the initiative at least 30% of the times and will try to back him up(if he falters) upto 50% of the times. Now,the question is,how does he get this feeling?Since navin and Juhi are not related, the only way they cld get this feeling of security from one another is by past experience. If Juhi has balied him out to a reasonable extent in the past, then he wld get that feeling. This has not happened.she might have helped him at times,in the initial games but nothing spectacular.I fact, after the QF and SF navin seems to be hardly talking to Juhi and seems to view her as a liability. So Juhi jr actually lowers his moral support!!By playing with her navin(unlike other players) is under constant pressure that he has to manage the show by himself. So he has to play his best under extereme pressure and no support.he has no scope to falter. So if u ask me,I'll say, silent partners contribute to moral support but in this case the reverse effect is happening.
Should such team play be allowed????
million dolar question!!whose fault is it that navin and juhi are partners?I dunno.but if i take a guess,i'd say everyone is to blame..My guess is that Navin and juhi must have appeared individualy for auditions from the north. Both wld have got thru and both wld have said they didn't have partners.Naturally, the ATGC team must have paired them up(my guess purely). Now navin cld have refused this pairing...but wht were his options?Wait till he gets a better partner?...then we might have never seen him on ATGC-LS!!find a partner himself?maybe he tried but it was not possible for him.Anyway,so this is my guess on how they landed up as a team in the first place.Since the players agreed to be in the team together and also won games, the ATGC team or anyone else had no business/right to forbid them from playing/change the teams.after a team has won a game.No one(esp, the ATGC team ) has any right to claim, factually, that the contribution is lop sided and we will change the team. This is a subjective thing and if they do this, other teams will also say that they want to change their partners and bring in stronger partners.....so where will they draw the line? And who is to deicide which team has a non contributing partner? These are all opinions... and they can vary.
So the ATGC team has no role here. They cannot disallow them to play. They have to allow them.I wld not say that the rounds were designed to make north lose. These same rounds were there in ATGC-Rishton ki...so these things shld have ben anticipated.
Am adding an extra question...wht is the solution?
there is only one solution here.Juhi's parents and navi and juhi shld work together, not view each other as liabilities.Navin needs to understand that Juhi is his partner, like it or not and he has to make use of wht he has.Juhi has age to her advantage.... at a young age one can learn things very quickly. She needs to be bombarded with stuff on film music by her parents and navin and juhi shld practise together. She does not need to learn too many songs.navin is doing that. They need to practise together for those rounds which require cooperation between team mates(eg,the rounds where she shld give clues).for this, they shld tell her the names of all famous actors/actresses and explain how clues shld be given.Show her many songs' visuals and ask her to give clues.practise makes a man perfect. Now she doesn't have enuf time to learn stuff to become an asset, she needs to learn enuf to cover her minus pints(she shld have started loooong back).they have to find out wht are the rounds in the grand finale(i'm sure rounds will change) and practise accordingly. For this her parents and most of all, navin himself shld cooperate. He is not helping by shouting at an 8 yr old. That will only make her take a further backseat in things
I think she must be intelligent...her dad says she does very well in studies. So with a little effort she learn songs at double the speed that a 16 yr old can learn.so she shld go for it.Only that can make them win.
