Dhruv-Thapki scene

Today's Dhruv-Thapki scene was interesting to me, not for what it showed but why was it there. Yesterday the sister-in-laws were planning for Dhruv-Thapki after 3 months and today Dhruv actually brought it up with Thapki.

Well, Dhruv would have brought it up, anyway, eventually. When Bauji spoke about divorce for the first time, his smile did tell that he was hoping to mend his relationship with Thapki, and I guess this hope will never die completely. What could be the reason that they brought it up, this quickly, though?

Maybe it was to show the viewers that there won't be Tharuv in the future, no matter what. To give us a sense of finality?

It could also be that they are widening the rift between Bihaan and Dhruv, bexause after this decleration, Dhruv won't forgive Bihaan too easily, if at all. So, maybe he will do certain things in the future to simply hurt Bihaan like he has been hurt (e.g. emphasize on Bihaan being adopted or doubting every good thing Bihaan does etc...) to rise the angst-level. Dhruv wouldn't negative, exactly, in that case, just hurt.

Of course, they could also opt for Dhruv to become completely negative as he can't let go of Thapki. Who knows, maybe somewhere deep down he has always been hurt that Bauji favoured Bihaan over him and now, Bihaan took Thapki from him, as well, and those two might even come closer. Who would be surprised if he really started to hate his brother?

The marriage is also an option, as you rightly pointed out. I think it might be a mix of he points we stated.

And yes, if Vasu had only heard Thapki... but then again, maybe she wouldn't have believed her or thought that Dhruv would back off, so...

You know everthing is now differend after she is married to bihaan, even its cheating marriage it is still marriage, if i was thapki i will also do the same, i will never marry the brother of my husband. and i believe marriage come frm god, even its cheating marriage bihaan will be always remain the first husband frm thapki, bihaan was in thapki kismat,

My mother always say you get what its in your kismat, maybe drhuv was not thapki kismat

You know, that reminds me of that specific episode where Thapki's parents came first time to Dhruv's home and Thapki and Dhruv made their wish under the night sky- where Thapki brought the dialogue about Dhruv-tara. Dhruv said that "Never shall their be a broken star at the sky just like our relationship shall never break" and then, they closed their eyes and didn't see how a falling star rushed over the sky.

The scene was significant as finally it has been cleared by the Creatives that Thapki did not love Dhruv with the same intensity that Dhruv did. For her, it was a matter of convenience that here comes along a guy who is educated, decent, smart and rich, who is willing to accept her wholeheartedly, so why refuse!! 😕 Else, its not easy for any girl to accept her marriage the way it has been shown here. Very unrealistic!! 😲 The script has gone haywire and even 3 months down the line, the viewers can be treated to any random thoughts that strike the Creatives -keeping the TRPs in mind! Bihaan may turn out to be her pati-parmeshwar! 🤣 For a girl who was chasing her dreams and News 365, is Thapki going to quit work and become a home-maker?? Bihaan has no job and is dependent on his father! How can she respect him considering that her upbringing has been very different! Or would Bihaan choose to be financially independent?? Would he mend his ways?? Now, that would be interesting!!

Presently, its turning out to be a typical Indian serial. Nothing innovative so far...
