Thank you all for your continued support and love! Sorry for the delay, but as we mentioned earlier, Sanam and I decided to write this and all subsequent chapters together. So we happened to take a little longer in getting this update posted. It's a tad short, but we'll be posting the second part tomorrow! 😳
This one is dedicated to our lovely Jia Di! ❤️ We're so glad you're doing better and we can't wait to see you back in full health soon! 🤗

Chapter 4a: Bade Bade Pyaar Mein Choti Choti Baatein
"Yahan--yahan pe baitho," Ragini says, directing Nachiket towards a park bench.
She helps him sit down and moves her hand to chest to gently push him down. His hand leaves her back and she suddenly feels cold and empty inside.
Ragini is leaning over him now and she can feel his heart beating fast in his chest, sending butterflies flying through in her own stomach. Why am I so affected by him, by his mere presence?
Nachiket sits down with a thud and he sticks his leg out instinctively to keep himself from falling. His long leg hits Ragini's shin and she loses her balance, her hand running up his chest and around his neck as his hand wraps around her again. Their faces are close now, closer than she has ever been to a man, close enough for her to feel his body heat sending goosebumps down her arms. What is wrong with you, Ragini?! she thinks to herself, how can you let this happen?
Nachiket looks at her surprised. Of course, he had always wanted her to be this close to him, but he had never expected that she would ever let it happen. Unless she wanted it...?
"Jaan buch kar giri thi kya?," he whispers knowingly into her warm brown eyes.
She scrunches her eyebrows and replies curtly,
"Jaan buch kar kyun giroongi?"
"Toh phir ab tak uthi kyun nai?!" Nachiket asks, narrowing his eyes and smiling.
Ragini's eyes widen as she immediately pulls back, her cheeks red hot. She takes a couple steps back. "Woh tumhara pair laag gaya tha, toh mein..."
He raises an eyebrow at her questioningly and smiles at her crimson cheeks. He loved the blush on her face, it made her glow in a way he never thought to be humanly possible. She is truly a goddess descended from the heavens, he thinks, making a mental note to get her to blush as often as possible.
"Tumhara ghar kahan hai?" Ragini asks in an effort to change the topic.
"Thoda sa aagey hai, a few streets down" he replies, still day-dreaming about her blush.
"Nachiket...woh tumhara friend kahan hai?" Ragini asks him in a worried tone now, sitting beside him.
"Kon, RK?"
"Haan wohi. Kahan hai woh?"
Hearing RK's name Nachiket goes into flashback.
"Bhai, ek hafta hogaya hai. Bhabhi ka koi ata pata nahin. Tu bol tou address wedress nikalwaun? Naam tou pata karliya hai meine. Ragini Patel."
After RK's 'kabab mein haddi' experience, he had asked him not to come to the park ever again. But when Ragini didn't show up for a week, RK had joined him.
"Yaar, meine bola hai na tujhe who seedhi sadhi ladki hai. Aise koi kaam nahin karunga mein. Mujhe mere pyaar par yakeen hai woh zarur ayegi." Nachiket tells him while they were jogging.
"Bhai woh dekh, Bhabhi ka naam liya aur aagayi. Aaj propose kar ke hi chodna !"
Nachiket spots Ragini and then kicks RK out of the park. "Tum mujhe ab nahin dikhne chaiye ho is park mein. Acchi khaasi pehli mulaqat paani pher diya tha."
"Nachiket, kahan khogaye?" Ragini snaps her finger in his face.
"Kuch nahin. Woh...RK bas uss din aaya tha. Why? Ragini, tumhare samne mein behta hoon joh tumhare liye apni jaan dene ko tayar hai aur tum mujhe chod kar mere friend par line maar rahi ho? Tch Tch." Nachiket says, over-reacting.
"Shut up Nachiket! Mein isliye puch rahi thi ke tumhe ab ghar kaun lekar jayega. Tumhara friend nahin askata?"
"Nahin asakta." Nachiket replies instantly.
Ragini looks at him, questioningly.
"Woh actually kaam se gaya hua hai. Usko idher aate aate 4-5 ghante lag jayenge." Nachiket lies.
"Accha..tou phir.." Ragini was confused...worried, as to how she will take him home.
"Tum kese ayi ho?" Nachiket asks looking at her worried face.
"Mein tou scooty par ayi hoon."
"Haan tou chalo scooty par chalte hain." Nachiket suggests, gesturing at her to get up.
"Nachiket paagal hogaye ho tum? Aise is haalat mein tum scooty par jaoge?"
"Tumhara saath ho toh mein sehra mein paidal chalne ke liye bhi tayaar hoon, Ragini. Scooty par kaunse badi baat hai" Nachiket replied with a wink.
Ragini rolls her eyes at him. "Ab bas bhi karoge? Saach saach batao, tum chal loge scooty pe?"
"Aur agar meine bol diya ki mein nai chal paunga, toh tum yaha puri raat mere saath betho gi kya?" Nachiket asks, grinning.
Ragini blushes and takes a deep breath to control herself. She cocks her head to one side, crossing her arms around her chest and gives him a death stare. Naak pe gussa, Nachiket thinks.
"Ok ok baba, gussa mat karo. Scooty par hi chalna hai na, I can manage that. Ziada door nahin hai mera ghar!" Nachiket says, trying to get up.
Ragini stands up and grabs his hand and back, steadying him as he rises to his feet. He places his hand on her shoulder and squeezes her hand as he stands. They walk to the park gate. Nachiket doesn't speak a word because of the pain. Ragini curses herself for being an idiot. Yeh sub tumhari galati hai. Tumhari wajah se hua yeh sub, she tells her brain.
They hobble out of the park together and turn right, heading towards Ragini's scooty.
Ragini helps Nachiket sit on her scooty, then she takes the front seat,
"Nachiket, are you sure tum manage karloge na?" She asks him, worried sick.
"Haan haan. Kitni baar puchogi, Ragini." Nachiket smiles weakly to assure her that he's fine.
"Ragini, kya mein tumhein pakad kar baith sakta hoon?" Nachiket asks, smiling.
"Aaj itne sharafat kahan se aagayi tumhare andaar, haan?"
"Sherni se panga thodi na lena hai. Meri haalat dekho, gussa wusa agaya tumhe tou kahin bhi phenk kar chali jaogi!"
"Shukar hai tumhe time par baat samajh agayi." Ragini turns to face him. "Don't you dare mess with me," she says sternly, quickly facing forward again so that he wouldn't see the playful smile on her face.
"Okay madam ji."
The wind was blowing Ragini's hair into Nachiket's face, tickling his neck and playfully dancing under his nose, leaving him with a beautiful smell that reminded him of cherry blossoms blooming in the spring.
"Aur haan, mein doctor nahi, nurse hoon." Ragini says, interrupting his fantasy, as she put on her helmet.
Nachiket is surprised, "Kya?! Maine jhoot bolne wali ladki se pyaar kiya!"
Ragini is undeterred and keeps looking straight ahead, trying to start the engine. "Mujhe kya pata ki tumne kis se pyaar kiya."
Nachiket smiles and decides to have some fun with his lady love. "Woh toh hai, mein jis ladki se pyaar karta hoon woh chashmish hai."
Ragini turns around and stares at him. She wasn't wearing glasses.
"Kya?! Main toh glasses nahi pehnti hoon!"
"Haan, toh kisne kaha mein tumhari baat kar raha tha?" Nachiket looks at her with confusion.
Ragini turns around to face him, her eyes furious and questioning.
Nachiket leans into her, closing the small gap that was between them on the scooty. He whispered gently into her lips, "Aaj nahi pehna hai, par kal toh naya pair kharida tha na?"
Ragini jerks her head back and looks at him surprised. "Tumhe kaise pata chala ki maine kal glasses liye?!" She scrunches her eyebrows,
"Tum mera picha kar rahe the?!"
Nachiket raises his eyebrows at her. "Actually tumne jahan se glasses liye mein uske paas hi rehta hoon."
"Accha..." Ragini says, relieved.
"Ab chalen? Ya yahin scooty par puri umer bethe rahnge? I don't mind weise." Nachiket says with a playful smile.
Ragini narrows her eyes and smiles. She starts the engine when Nachiket places his hand on her waist, sending shivers down her spine. She is unable to concentrate.
Nachiket smiles to himself, not failing to notice her reaction,
"Ragini hum shaadi ke baad bhi aise hi baithnge. Aur jab bache honge tou ek aagey," he starts, sliding his hand forward to her navel. "Aur ek pichey," he completes, bringing his other hand around her waist to match the first.
Ragini applies the brakes suddenly and turns around,
"Nachiket, tumhe is haalat mein bhi flirt soojh raha hai ! I am unable to concentrate aur tum ho ke.." She scolds him and he pulls his hands back to her hips.
"Ab chup chaap baitho. Tumhari awaaz nahin aani chahiye mujhe. Got it."
Nachiket makes a pouty face. But she ignores him and starts riding the scooty again. Nachiket doesn't speak but, taking the advantage of his situation, he rests his head on her back and fakes sleep.
Ragini jerks back a little and uses her mirrors to see Nachiket sleeping. She becomes more worried and drives a little faster to get to his home as soon as possible.
Ragini stops at the same store she had bought her spectacles from. She looks back to see Nachiket who is still sleeping.
"Nachiket? Utho." She speaks slowly to wake him up.
Nachiket leans closer almost hugging her from the back.
As much as Ragini was enjoying his proximity, she hated being watched by people.
"Nachiket!" She shouts this time.
Nachiket stirs in his sleep, and slowly opens his eyes.
"Oh, I'm sorry Ragini. Mein sach mein sogaya." Nachiket says, yawning.
"Sach mein matlab?" Ragini asks him, surprised.
"Sach mein matlab sach mein." Nachiket winks at her.
Ragini couldn't stop blushing. She lowers her eyes and asks him about his house.
"Yeh hai mera ghar," Nachiket says, pointing at a palatial home just behind the store. Ragini's jaw drops when she saw where he lived.
It is a big white house, with a modern twist on classic Georgian architecture. It has a beautiful water fountain just in front of the main entrance and a large cobblestone path leading up to the front door. Large windows adorn both levels of the home, drawing in the light from the setting sun. Each window has a small balcony, with just enough standing room for two.
Ragini imagines herself up on one of those balconies, her hair blowing in the wind and Nachiket's arm around her waist, the two of them, together and alone, staring off into the sunset...
"Ab chale?" Nachiket asks, pulling her out of her little fantasy world.
Ragini wraps her hand around his back and helps him get off the bike, still in awe of his house.
It was then that she realizes that he had placed his hand around her back while she was day-dreaming of his house--and she hadn't bothered to stop him. Ragini chides herself for her inattentiveness--she should have known that she couldn't be so careless around this flirt. But there was something about him that drew her in and captured her every sense, emotion, and feeling. It was a sensation she couldn't describe and, frankly, she didn't want to even try.
