It's a dream to be working with Ranbir & Imtiaz: Deepika Padukone

Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone, who will be seen romancing ex boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor in Tamasha, says it a dream to work with the actor once again.

Deepika said it was a dream to be working with Ranbir again in an Imtiaz Ali directed film. "Tamasha is a very special film for all of us. We all have worked with each other individually in different capacities. I and Imtiaz have done Love Aaj Kal together. Ranbir and Imtiaz have done Rockstar together. I and Ranbir have done Bachna Ae Haseeno and Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani. We are all very good friends and it's a dream to be working with this team of Ranbir and Imtiaz and basically to be directed by Imtiaz in a film and to be working with Ranbir in the same. I am happy it has finally happened," Deepika Padukone said.

Deepika Padukone also said that they would share both success and failure of the film together. "Tamasha has been a beautiful and special journey. If the film does well, we all will be equally responsible and if it doesn't do well, then too we will be equally responsible," she said.

Her co-star Ranbir Kapoor had been keeping a low profile after the debacle of Bombay Velvet and there is no doubt that Ranbir has pinned his hopes on this Imtiaz Ali directorial to get his career back on track.

As part of their marketing strategy, team Tamasha has been uploading videos on the internet with the most recent video being the one where Imtiaz teases Ranbir for ruining the publicity campaign and Deepika being his(Imtiaz) only hope. Ranbir on his part us seen saying that he needs publicity since his last film, Bombay Velvet didn't work.

When we asked Deepika if her star power as the ruling diva of the box-office would help Ranbir Kapoor regain his lost stardom, the pretty actress told The Indian Express: "I believe everyone who comes onboard a film contributes to the success of the film. Ranbir is a huge star we all know that. Everyone has their ups and downs in their career. I am nobody to comment on what he has been through."

Deepika was speaking at the launch of Axis Bank's new mobile app, Lime. Calling herself not too tech savvy, Deepika said she is getting there' when it comes to technology. The actress also praised the app and said it's the coolest one she has come across in a long time.

On the investment front, Deepika said she is bad at maths and allows her legendary father, Prakash Padukone to take stock of her earnings and investments.
