CHAPTER-15

Taani was getting ready for shopping. She had worn the same beautiful blue salwar suit which she had worn on her first date with Rey. She knew Rey loved that dress, so in the morning only she has called Sharon, to send it by driver from her wardrobe. On the other hand Rey was impatient as it was the beginning of proper shaddi preparation and the thought that she will be all his, the whole world will know that she belongs to him was giving him goose bumps, making him feel thrilled, at last their pain, suffering, and sacrifices will ultimately come to a stop.

In the living room Mrs Singhania arrived after getting ready, she was busy in her phone. Lot of calls had to be made and relatives in India and abroad had to be informed and invited because last night only the decision was made all of a sudden. The elders have planned a huge surprise not only for Taarey even for Sneha and Shivam. Though Sneha didn't have her parents but Mr Shekhawat liked her a lot, she was handling the Shekhawat business after her father's death who was a major shareholder of Shekhawat's in abroad. Even it was she who took care of Taani in Brazil. He knew that both Taani and Sneha have become more than sisters in last 3 years and she is the one who to some extent have made Taani a strong person handling her broken state, so he doesn't want to make her feel alone just because her parents died, she was just his another daughter like Taani, even Swaron treats her as they treat Taani. As planned even Mrs Malhotra (Shivam's mom) was informed, they have cancelled their trip. Rey came dressed and was constantly looking back, upstairs and clashed with the sofa, got hurt in his knees, as he was busy seeing whether Taani came or not. His mother teased him even old kaka was laughing and he was making an annoying face. Mom and son was seating and chatting about the shopping actually it was Rey who was telling his mom about Taani's likes and dislikes precisely indirectly informing his mother that she likes simple dresses, heavy dresses dark colours is not her choice. White is her favorite colour and she even likes Rey in white and she wear red and blue because it's his favorite colour, but then all of a sudden he stopped registering her presence, his silence made Mrs Singhania turn back tracing her son's eyes.

She saw an angel in royal blue netted anarkali with a net dupatta falling on her left shoulder which had silver embroidery studded with white pearls, silver lace around the hem of her anarkali, her arms adorned with silver bangles, silver danglers were hanging in her ears. With just pink lip gloss and kohl in her eyes, she was looking like a princess descending down the stairs.

She was mesmerized seeing her, and once again she felt that her son has really chosen an angel for their family both by looks and nature, and she was sure to treat her as a princess, she will not be her bahu, but her daughter with the entrance of her in their life she will fulfil her longed urge to have a daughter. Rey was as usual lost in her, he was bowled out, and her wearing the same dress she wore in their first date had some other meaning, he was lost in her was only brought back by her mom's words. But then something came to her notice.

Mrs Singhania- Beta you are looking beautiful and adorable (she kissed her forehead, Rey was looking at them, his mother's bond with Taani has made him realize the pain she went through lacking a mother's love but whenever he witness Taani's smile and the perfect mother daughter bond the duo shares, he feels relieved at least Taani is getting the motherly love, the attention she longed throughout her life from ) bilkul ak angel ki taaha, but beta don't you think that the neck piece (a silver chain and a dancing girl pendant) you are wearing though it's beautiful but is not actually matching, come with me I will give you something else which matches your dress.

T- Nahi aunty...( Rey's mom faked a glare and she smiled) nahi ma, I don't want to hurt your feelings but even don't want to change this, match karae yeah na karae I will not remove it.

Mrs Singhania-Ok no problem but aysa kiu, it's just a silver chain, what's so special in it?

T-Ma (looking at Rey, he was smiling) Rey ne mujhae yeah gift kiya hai, I know it's of silver but he has bought this with his first professional income, it means a lot to me, ma koi bhi diamond yeah gold necklace is valueless in front of this.

Mrs Singhania hugged her then her son, and kissed both of theirs forehead and then said, "I wonder Rey tujhae Taani kaysae mil gaya?" He held Taani's hand and said, "Mom you know what even I wonder, truly saying mom Taani deserved someone better than me, mainae sirf aur sirf esae rulaya hai, I have always been the cause of her pain badlae mae she was and is always the reason of my smile, but I promise mom aab kabhi mai esae rone nahi dunga" he hugged her in front of her mother, she smiled seeing the way her son loves Taani, and then keeping her palms on both of their heads she blessed them "Bhagwan karae tum dono ki payaar ko kisi ke nazar na lagae". Taani smiled and hugged her and then she said, "aysa kuch nahi hai ma, Rey kuch jyadaya hie boltae hai, ma mainae bhi bohot rulaya hai enhae, insecure thi and that's the reason even I have hurt him a lot, aur ma Rey truly deserves me none can take his place in my life, he has always loved me unconditionally taken care of me even the way I accused him and left for Shimla no one else would have tolerated it, but Rey ne waha akae mujhae samjaya, mujhae realize karwaya ki mai kitni galat thi and cahae jindagie mai agae kuch bhi ho jaya mai kabhi unhae chor ke Janae ka galat decision nahi lungie I will always stay beside him and it's the promise I have made to myself." Rey's mom once again hugged both of them and then all three headed to the mall their shopping destination.

In the mall they got the loving surprise of their life to see Shivam, Sneha, Mrs Malhotra, Mrs Senior Shekhawat (Taani's taiji) and Mrs Junior Shekhawat (Sharon-Taani's bhabi) to see there. And then the news was disclosed that Taarey and Snevaam both will have their engagement that evening, and boys of Shekhawat house have taken the responsibility of the arrangements. Not only that both the bffs squealed in happiness when they came to know that next day both of them will have their mehendi and sangeet celebration and immediately the following day their haldi and shaddi. Taani and Sneha will get married in the same day in the same mandab with the love of their lives.

It was also revealed the reason behind the super fast decision was Mrs Singhania and Swayam. Both had their own reason.

Mrs Singhania has seen the longing in her son's eyes, she has witnessed the pain her son went through the last 3 years, her son who was always the center of attraction in family functions and gathering was turned into an introvert locking himself and sitting alone used to adore her pics in laptop and streams of tears flowing down his eyes, yet covering up with fake smile whenever she asked. She knew her son was at fault and that's the reason Taani left him 3 years beck but still a mother breaks seeing her child in pain. And last 2 months even she understood Taani was a real angel in her son's life, who can feel his life with her love and care and the happiness she can give him no one else can't and which mother doesn't want his child to be happy so she was not ready to delay her official arrival in her house in their lives.

On the other hand no one better than Swayam and Sharon knew the pain Taarey went through in their relation. Moreover their academy was still running in loss, debts were there, they were unable to focus on their academy their career. Both he himself Rey and Sharon was so messed up in personal life that they could see their own career sleeping out from their hand like sand sliding down but they could do nothing. With Taani gifting them her property they were now financially secure but academy needed proper attention and care, competitors were more, within coming up two years the Olympics were in corner and once from Kriya he came to know that the Olympic organizers auditions for the opening and closing performances and from that time he had a dream of their academy performing there, getting a worldwide recognition but it's a tough job dancing groups from whole world participate and only one or two groups get that golden chance.. He had never discussed about it with anyone not even with Sharon because he had already let go that dream a year back when some of his friends left the journey in between and joined hands with Kriya for money and fame, his breaking up with Sharon and Rey locking himself up broken, that time academy was on the verge of closing and at that situation how could he even dare to see that dream? But things changed soon, it was his same little sis Taani whom he always under estimated, who stepped into their life once again as if "ghar ki laxmi ghar wapas ayaa" and as soon as she re-entered she brought the key of happiness with her magic she removed pain from everyone's life and now things were different, he has once again started seeing that dream and he knew for that they have to gear up soon and for that they need proper focus and mental strength. He himself Rey, Sharon, Vicky, Aashi, Bharat and now not to forget the award winning bailey dancers Sneha and his same little sis Taani is there. He knew Taani and Sneha will focus in business and as things are going around after the marriage Sneha will take charge of Shekhawat business along with his father and Taani will assist Mr Singhania in Singhania industries but he was adamant and he has made up his mind that he will convince them for at least this upcoming big event. He knew that Rey is the heart of the team and the team's heart will be back only when his heart beat his Taani remains in his life, Rey will ultimately be able to focus on his career on his dreams which he was unable to do from last 3 to 4 years. Taani moving out of his life has made him a lifeless broken soul, last few years it was not that he has not seen his best buddy smiling but only he knew how fake those were. Now he was determined to make things straight and he knew as a brother too it was his responsibility first to secure his little sister's life gift her happiness which she is giving him unconditionally from years from their childhood sacrificing her own dreams to for him, it was high time he fulfill all the promises of rakhi and bhaiduz., it is her time to get happiness and Rey is the one who holds the key to her happiness as she is the key of his happiness. Only after this with fresh peaceful mind, inner strength they can achieve their goal and success.

In the mall:

All entered the mall, the girls laughter, the elder women's giggle was echoing around but the poor two souls Rey and Shivam was walking back in a gloomy face. Even Shivam came to know about the marriage proceedings just then along with Rey and after this it was obvious they will need some alone time with the love of their lives but how could the elders understand they were so busy in shopping and to irritate them to hell Taani and Sharon though were stealing glances but were making no attempts to spend alone time with them.

The shopping was in full form, Mrs Shekhawat (senior) was checking out the colours of lehenga for Sneha and Taani. After a lot of trial and cancellation both by Sneha and Sharon ultimately she selected a beautiful dark blue lehenga with golden works in it for Sneha and all liked it, and Mrs Malhotra and Sneha another would be saas bahu together selected a golden yellow colour sherwani, for Shivam, poor soul no body asked him whether he likedor not .

Snevam's Mehendi Dress:

Mrs Shekhawat was now busy selecting for Taani as she would never voice out her choice, but then she was interrupted by Mrs Singhania " Bhabhiji Taani ke liya etnae saraae colours kiu dakh rahae hai, see white, red and blue" (looking at Rey and Taani) "aur aysa kiu?" came out from Mrs Shekhawat, and it was then Sharon who spoke "Mom puchiya maat Taani wear white it's her fab and she likes Rey to see in black and white and Rey likes to see her in red and blue, and jab sae they both are in relation from college days these are the four colours which they keep on wearing." All of them burst out laughing Taani was feeling shy and was blushing Rey's mom concluded by saying "mera kaam ashann hai dono ke liya kuch bhi kharido 3 to 4 colours to keep in notice" all were teasing Taani and her face was becoming pink in blushing, but it was then Rey who went to her and side hugging her said "bohot galat hai, saab mere Taani ko tease maat karo, and Sharon tu bilkul taang nahi karaga meri Taani ko. So what we both keep on wearing these colours, Red and blue suits her, she looks like an angel (lost in his world, holding her both arms turning her towards him in the mall, in front of all the elders, salesman etc etc) You are my angel of love, Princess you are the love of my life..." before he could complete Shivam started coughing badly, all were laughing Mrs malhotra too teased her " iske gaal do dekho, pura gulabi ho gaya, kitni payarii lag rahi hai" and it was then they realized Taani was having deepest shades of pink adoring her cheeks blushing furiously all nervous, but the majnu was shameless "bass baas shivam aur sign dene ki jarurat nahi hai, apnae Sneha ki shopping kar, and aunties mom excuse us mainae mere aur Taani ki mehendi outfits already pasand karliya hai, bas I am taking her to show it, you guys carry on" saying so he pulled Taani with him but not before having a cute fight with Sneha because all she said was "Yeah before you live Mr. Singhania, Taani and I will wear almost matching lehengas in our sangeet jo bilkul bhi white, red yeah blue nahi hoga so don't even try to mess" " ha ha whatever waisae jo bhi my Taani will wear will she will look like a princess and ok ak function your wish granted" he was living but then Sharon " Sneha whatever you say he will listen all, now he is only in a hurry to take her aside and have his time with her" saying so Sneha and Sharon hi-fie he glared at them, elders were having a good time seeing the cat and dog fight, Mrs Shekhawat reminded Taarey to be back in an hour as after that girls have to head to the parlor under the guidance of Mrs Sharon Swayam Shekhawat and elders kept on completing the rest of the shopping, even within 15 minutes Snevaam too escaped all decided to meet at 2 in the food court.

Rey took her to the particular lehengs section he has chosen a white and pink simple lehenga for her knowing her taste and also showed her a white sherwani which he knew she would love.

Taarey's Mehendi Dress-

After seeing it Taani squealed in happiness, Rey was lost in her smile he asked the sales man to pack, then paying it he took Taani to the terrace cafeteria of the mall, he ordered two cafe chino and sat at a corner in the open garden area.

Taani was still adoring the lehenga and the sherwani from the transparent packet. She looked at him when she heard "Beautiful" from his mouth

T-ha rey bohot beautiful hai, it's so simple and pretty, and apnae bhi Sherwani white colour ki pasand ki hai matching matching , waisae aap white and black mai bohot handsome lagtae ho

but I thought you have chosen something in red and blue ( she was continuing her chant, but getting no response from him she looked at him and then she noticed him looking at her and smiling) kya hua aysae kya dekh rahae ho?

Rey extended his hand and tucked the strands of hair behind her ears that were falling on her face, flying in the air disturbing her, he traced his finger on her cheeks a bit long she felt shiver in her spine, every time he is near she feels so, to feel his touch more she closed her eyes and then she heard him pagal' hearing pagal she frowned and opened her eyes, looking at her smiling he said kya dekh rahi ho, bilkul pagal ho, beautiful tum lag rahii ho, in the morning seeing you wearing this dress all memories of our first date became fresh, that day even you were looking breath taking, first time that day I saw you properly dressing up for me and the feel that you have dressed up for me I can never forget...(he smiled remembering that particular day, she too returned it with a soft, sigh smile both remembering their first date) thik sae complement bhi nahi kar paya mom tha, and shopping you are just surrounded by all and yeah lehenga will also look beautiful but when you will wear it.

And regarding colours Taani white is your fab colour mainae tumhae peheli baar white back less anarkali mai dekha tha, today I am confessing ak alag tarha ki attraction feel kiya tha mainae... tab tum nayi nayi college ayii thi, larkiyo ke saath Sharon ke farm house gayyi thi, yeah I was checking you out mainae bohot kuch assume bhi kiya tha, (he smiled remembering his dream of sensuously dancing tip tip barsa pani with her) baad mai kabhi batayungie tumhae but on a serious note white is the colour of purity and I wanted the first ceremony of our marriage to be something simple depicting the purity of our relation, ... She looked down and started sipping her coffee. There was silence for few moments but then pulling the chair bit close holding her hand he said:

R-So?

T- Kya?

R-Tum bolo

T-Kya bolu?

R- Tayiiar ho? Are you ready to become officially Mrs Taani Reyansh Singhania?

T- Aap socho, mai bohot jiddi hu, stupid bhi hu, kabbhi kabbhi immaturely behave kartti hu, aap ki attention cahati hu, aap ready ho to handle a mad girl like this?

R- ha jiddi bohot ho, (he pulled her nose, and both smiled but then holding her palms in his) I know Taani tum bohot mature ho gayii ho, saach kahu years back tum tabbhi hum saab sae jyada mature thi, but aj mai sirf hum dono ki baat karna cahataa hu, and I want a promise from you.

T- Kya promise cahiyya Rey?

R- Taani tum cahae saab ke samnae kitni bhi maturely behave karo I don't mind? Rather I want everybody to know you are not that same old Taani whom anyone could hurt by their words and actions, but I know Taani andar sae tum bilkul wahi purani Taani ho, bilkul bhi nahi baadly ho, you have not changed a bit aj bhi koi kuch bhi boldae tum hurt ho jatti ho but now all you have learnt to mask it out, even I don't mind you doing that.

But Promise me Taani tum kabhi mere samnae apnae true self ko hide nahi karogie. Promise me tum mere samane kabhi apnae koi bhi feelings ko hide nahi karogie, Taani I want all kind of transparency in our relation. Ak dusrae sae kuch bhi nahi chupayae na humarae khusiya na gaam.

Taani years before I didn't want to change you the way you thought but all I wanted ki you realize your importance and let people stop accusing you taking you for granted, but the way I did it was wrong.

T- aap ro kiu rahae ho? (She rubbed his eyes, and nodded her head in approval) Rey mainae pehele bhi kaha hai, I have never blamed you for anything humharae destiny mai tha we went through it, kisi aur ko blame karanae sae kya faida, it was our misunderstanding and immaturity to handle our relation, but yes I promise mai koi bhi baat ho apsae share karungi, aap bhi karogae na?

R-Ha bilkul tum meri life ho and I have already promised I will never hide anything from you, but agar mujhsae fir bhi koi galti ho jayae chor ke chalii toh nahi jayogie na? (With tears in his eyes) Taani gussa karna, stop talking with me, but please angel mujhae chor ke maat jana.

T-pehela aap rona band kijiya, mujhae lagae ka aap shaddi ke baat sunkae and knowing you will get a mad wife like me you are crying. (Saying so she pouted cutely)

R-Ok madam rahena dijiya aysae faces mmat banayo control karna muskil ho jata hai, and yup I am ready to handle a cute, naughty, crazy angel like you the rest of my life.

T- (She smiled whole heartedly but then holding his palms ) On a serious note Rey I promise I will never leave you, Rey mainae realize kiya hai duur rehena koi option nahi hai, baalki saath rahaeke ak dusrae ko support karkae problem solve karna is better. I would like to be your strength not weakness and all I want you to be my strength.

After spending some quality time they both headed to meet the elders, tonight is going to be a big night for them they will officially get engaged.

They reached the food court, Sharon and Sneha was in full mode for teasing Rey, understanding their intension Taani was glaring but the two girls were hell bent on taking Rey's class, they winked Taani and showed Rey their Sangeet Dress,

Taarey's Sangeet Dress:

Sh- Dekha Rey bilkul Red blue yeah white nahii hai?

Sn-Mine and Taani's is matching. Even mine and Shivam's too

Mrs Shekhawat- Beta tumhae sherwani pasand ayaa?

R-Ji taiji, bilkul cream colour mai red works bohot khubsurat hai Taani ka lehenga bhi bohot pretty hai, jarur aap ki, yeah aunti yeah mom ki pasand hai.....(.(winking at the girls)

Mrs Singhania- But girls what about tonight engagement tum log bhul gayae.

T-Yeah ma, sorry mai bhul gayii papa nai specially kaha tha to wear something traditional yet party wear In-do western sort even he reminded me before going unki foreign deligates ayaengae and he wanted to introduce me, I am sorry mom, mai bilkul bhul gayiii...Rey caliya na help me to select something.

Mrs Singhania-Beta why Rey, can't I select for my daughter?

T- Ma I am sorry woh mujhae laga ki u are tiered..

Mrs Singhania-Don't worry mainae tum teeno ke liya kuch kharaida hai,

Sh- Kiu aunti, hum logo ke liya kiu?

Mrs Singhania- Kiu tu bohot barri ho gayii hai? Taani ki tarha tum dono bhi meri betiya ho, and Sharon tujhae to bachpan sae gift deti ayii hu na? Mrs Malhotra and bhabhiji aap ko thik lagae then I want the girls to wear this in the evening and girls no arguments see and tell me hows it.

All together exclaimed that Mrs Singhania's choices were exclusive all liked it and appreciated her, Taani hugged her, later enjoying the lunch the elders left for last minute preparation and the boys had to return glummy faces as Sharon with Taani and Sneha and the Packets Mrs Singhania gifted for the evening headed towrds the beauty parlor. Though Rey was not ready to leave her, after lot of heated arguments with Siren Sharon and getting strict instructions from Taani to wear a 3 piece black suit which will make him look handsome and dashing and will complement her pale pink magenta gown...he nodded in approval hearing his would be wife's demand and then ultimately getting some more glares from siren he left but not before placing a wet kiss on Taani's cheeks.

Updated this after edges, was busy in updating LMLB but this week I am free so guys you all can expect one update everyday but of which story I am not sure jo mood hua wahi likhungie.
Coming to this ff, I don't think it was up to the mark, as it was a filler chapter and I had to write it, till tried putting romance.

But gear up as now the story is going to begin its next phase.
