This is a huge issue for our indians.. yes living together doesn't mean getting over intimate, they can live like friends.. like in the movie wake up sid... but well will this live-in solve their problems? again there is no answer.. anyways I dont think such live-in things will be appreciated by Indians. I personally dont as well.

Sorry to say live in relationship is two individuals coming under one roof and begin to live like a married couple but their status of relationship is still open.
Dabbu asked it to Dylan if you heard it well the episode Dylan entered through the window.
EDITED TO ADD:
In Westen countries these kind of relationship is preferred only to avoid DIVORCE PROCEDURE if thing does not work.

I think our culture is very unique and if we avoid some orthodox stuff (women considered less in some parts), rest our culture is very apt for our country, such relationships are not having any stability
Ok here it's Dylan a hero of the show but if the concept is about live in relationship what is the guarantee that it will last also after the girl has lost her beauty after a certain age, what if the couple wants child but after child's birth that child won't have a name, what about the tones of identity proof documents what every individual needs in our country as at every certain stage the person has to face the society, we all have heard of the term that man is a social animal and we have to interact somewhere with society for a certain time
A marriage is not only about a ritual but it's about how man and woman's all basic needs name it sexual, social, financial, security, emotional, moral are fulfilled.
Marriage maintains a balance between professional and personal life
Yes as Dylan puts it freedom is lost but that lost freedom is an investment where the couple has a right on their children and the values of parents are inculcated in children correctly.
Plus the way our society describes this relation is not of dignity.
As one puts it that years are spend to earn respect and create a name for oneself but one mistake might ruin it.
I know we are talking about culture but this is completely my point of view that live in relationship is not having only social impacts but it's not practical too though yes law is made regarding the right of property to be given to live in partner but the claim the person's relatives, family have on that can't be put that rightfully by the live in partner plus it lacks stability
These are my point of view I wanted to put please don't bash

i know lots of couple who stays together without marriage as I live and work in Italy.

Really? Even I live in Italy. 😳 Di dove sei?

Well.. live-in relationships aren't welcomed in countries such as India, forget Pakistan. 😆 But here in Italy it's really common.. infact my neighbour's daughter was in a live-in relationship with her boyfriend because she wanted to be sure if they can live happily together forever as a married couple. After one year they got married and now they are living happily with their baby because thanks to the live-in relationship, they got to know each other better.

Personally speaking, I'm not in favour of live-in relationships.🤔 But I absolutely respect those couples who live together.

Absolutely true. When I asked my neighbour's daughter about her decision, she said that it was only to avoid divorce procedure if things don't work.
