Note- Hey guys, I'm sorry I know I'm late this time...but I was really tied up.Only I know how I managed to write this update.All those who are liking my work...I'm glad 😊 This time I wasn't even able to reply to ur wonderful comments..Thank you all and pls bear with this crappy chapter..

Chapter 16 ⭐️ -

After dinner..it was time for Fab5's performance. As usual it was rocking.. They chose "Dheere Dheere" as according to the event.Well the performance was Fab5's but all couples were engrossed in each other. Manik was emoting every word looking at Nandini as if it was only for her. Not for once did he move his eyes from her...not once did Nandini lose the feel of the song..the feel that Manik was conveying. It was all their moment. All theirs!!
Same was the thing with Dhruv n Alya.Sparks could be seen between Abhi n Mukti too..With this the song ended and it was time for the final round of the Prince n Princess of the ball..In this round, the girls would be blind folded and they would have to recognise their guys with only the feel of their hands.There were 2 other pairs with Manan.

Nandini's POV-
Aiyappa ab main kya karu.Haath se kaise koi kisiko pehchaan sakta hai. Ye kya bakwaas hai..
End

It was now Nandini's turn...she came forward and one by one touched the hands..but came to one and stopped "This is Manik!!" she said.."R u sure..asked the host!!" And when her blindfold was removed..there he was..standing with feet on the ground but himself on cloud 9..no 10.. no 11 or even more than that if there was!!

Manik's POV-
Whatt!!? She got me!! She..she could recognise me by my hand..Oh My God!! This is the happiest day of my life...
End

His heart was dancing..he was all exuberant and ecstatic. He just wanted to run to her and hug her..but he knew his limit..he had to take it slow...he had to stand out on her trust.So for now..all he could do is dance within and smile at her with pride n happiness. Their friends pounced upon them and Manik and Nandini were crowned Prince and Princess..

Ab-Waise Nandini..how come you could recognise Manik's HAND(specifically showing) he said teasingly..
N-Simple...who else would have a hand as big as a brick says she and giggles.
C-Really..!!
N-Aree...dekho saying this she takes his hand and keeps her hand on his as if measuring...
Na-Aree tum sab yahan kya kar rahe ho..party khatam ho gayi hai chalo..
Ab-Haan we're coming.

Cabir n Abeer were smart enough to let Manan have some privacy so they left...All the time Manik didn't remove his gaze from Nandini and when she was gonna leave his hand...he entwined it with hers and pulled her closer...and playing with their hands he said...

M-So Princess!! Mera haath brick jaisa hai hmm...!?
N-Manik hume jaana chahiye..sab chale gaye...
M-Wait a minute...
Saying this he instantly messaged Cabir that they will come on their own..
N-Manik tumne Cabir ko aisa kyu bola..?!
M-First you answer me...he said locking her between him and the wall.
N-Hmm...
M-Really...hmm!!

Both kept talking...not voices..but feels...feelings...emotions!!Deep...and true.Engrossed in each other..They kept on lookin at each other..Manik spoke finally ...actually finally...after donno how long..
M-Will you come for a walk with me..!? Now!! He asked well it seemed more like a request to which she nodded.
They headed towards the college ground to start their first together moment. Walking..with each other..embracing the time with their company...

Manik's POV-
I wish I could freeze time here..Today is the best day..with her..infact it's just the beginning of the best dayss... with my longtime dream coming true..I'm sure..everyday would be worth bestt...!!

M-Nandini..!!
N-Hmm.. she said looking at him.
M-Thank you for giving it a chance... you have no idea what this means to me..
N-Manik tumhe thanks kehne ki zaroorat nahi hai..It means to me too!! She said with her ever charming smile with blush crept on her cheeks.
M-Tumhe pata hai how long I waited for this..!?
N-For what!!? She asked thinking to play a bit.

He smiled at her this comment...understanding what she was upto "For...This !!" He said taking her hands in his Brick like ;).She smiled at him and walked along in the same position..
Walking n walking towards home.. in each other's hands..what else do you need for a more beautiful end of the most beautiful day..the hustle bustle around them seemed all ignored..they drowned in the ocean of their solace with each other.. they reached below her apartment..They paused..

N-Manik!!
M-Haan...he said still not leaving her hand..
N-Thank you...I loved this day!!
M-Ab tum mujhe thank you bol rahi ho...don't you remember what you told me a while back..he said with a smile.
N-You know tum bohot cute ho..she said ruffling hid hair.
It was Nandini..if it had been someone else..he would have just yelled at him..
M-That's good to know...he said smiling and adjusting his hair..
N-Oopss!! Sorry..tunhe nai pasand na koi tumhare baalon ko chede..
M-You're allowed...he said..lovingly!!
N-(she blushed) Good night Manik..
M-Good night...I'll wait for tomorrow Princess to see you..
N-What's with this Princess thing..!?
M-Well not necessary there has to be one...you ARE a Princess(of my world he muttered)..aur abhi toh tum jeet bhi gayi...The title na.
N-(she heard his muttering too) Toh waise toh tum bhi ho na Prince..
Now this made Manik blush..
N-Good nite Manik...
She said and turned to leave..but took her steps back and tip toed taking support of his shoulder and kissed him on his cheek and ran inside. Our Mr.Romeo literally jumped with happiness...The day ended..a beautiful evening ended..waiting for a new morning with the new hope...new love...a new beginning.

Eee... how cute... super awesome... I sooo sooo sooo loved it... it was a mind boggling update... the prince and princess competition... all their manan moments... the talk, the hand in hand walk... it was sooo beautiful... and then the cheek kiss... sooo loving and adorable... FLAWLESS...
