Yes...Shagun got she had reaped earlier. And ideally, this should have been a moment of vindication for us viewers...but judging by how GENUINELY she cares about her kids...Adi, especially..and how she really just wanted him to open up and cheer up a bit...its unfair that she had to listen to all Raman blasted her way. But such is life. Kya karen Shagun😕 You haven't exactly been the nicest person on planet earth and definitely not the most believable!

I still don't sympathize with her. I get it that she was blasted off yesterday for no fault of hers, but I felt it was due. Raman didn't say anything to her after the kidnapping and fire and earthquake. When she said she's leaving forever, and again the same thing in her letter to him in Mumbai, he expected her to LITERALLY go away FOREVER. And here she is, with Adi. It was bound to put his fuse off and lash at her. And considering what all has she told Raman & Ishita in the past, it was not unfair for her to listen to the truth once. I might sound vindictive here, but I am not 😆

As Raman left the scene and Shagun turned on her heel...she locked eyes with Manoj...who was waiting in the parking lot...and watching the drama with an intense curiosity and a swinging confusion. He did ask her why Raman spoke to her that way, how she was related to him etc etc..she deflected the topic to Ishita's pregnancy case...and said he should do what he has come here for - discuss Ishita's case. He makes her promise she will share the details at home.

Well well...Manoj is positively SPIRALLING in love with her! In the beginning, they were supposed to have DIFFERENT shifts..and not meet each other even once..and suddenly, they seem to be having breakfast and dinner and coffee and this and that...and having nice little chit-chats. Timing kab change hua bhai??😆 And now that their love story is on track, there's no need to bring in the dhobi and the broker and the kaamwali bai anymore between these two. Their job's done!😆 CVs...I tell u!😕

Manoj arrived and announced the big news in an official way...Bhalla ji and Appa bear-hugged each other...Sarika hugged Ishita...Bhalla ji thanked Ishu for giving him this wonderful piece of news...even Rinky is back to being the sweet girl we initially used to adore..and came and congratulated her bhabhi...mithai khilayi gayi...it was a cuddly picture-perfect family moment The ones YHM is famous for! Sabko itne dinon baad itna khush dekhke accha laga...chahe yeh khushi ek aur din last kare na kare...it was nice😃

You forgot Simmi's entry in this scene 😛 And I always wanted Ishita's family to get emotionally happy at this news, and not just normal happy. For Bhallas, it was just another baby news (considering the no. of kids in the house) 😆 But for Iyers, it was a miracle. They all saw Ishita bearing with all the taunts and broken relationships because of this condition, and for her to be able to experience motherhood should have brought out tears of happiness, IMO. But then, at the miraculous speed with which she got pregnant, its foolish to expect anything a bit drawn out here 😆 😆 Mr. Bhalla seemed happier than Mr. Iyer though 😛

Toshi seems to be a bit weird in her demeanour towards Sarika...dunno why...but I felt it... because Sarika taunted Toshi 😆 "Toh isliye aapko mummyji bhar bhar ke paranthe khila rahi thi, baby ke liye" 😆 "Main apni bahuon ka bhi changi tarah khayal rakh di aan" 😆

Adi supposedly didnt come out for dinner , so Neelu served him food in his room itself..Ishita wanted to go check, but Raman asked her to sit down and eat first..."bacche kha lenge"

later, in the bedroom...Raman tried to make some small talk...teasing her about her culinary skills and all...but Ishita seemed to be in a world of her own, absent-mindedly fidgeting with her pillow. He then made her sit down and share what was bothering her...I so loved it! He is so particular about the tiniest things..so perceptive...its like he has a penetrating gaze and nothing can pass his glance...😊 Ishita told him about the incident in the classroom...how Adi was about to beat up a boy in his class... Raman immediately concluded it was all because of Shagun, SHE had messed with his head again, created trouble. Ishita said - shagun ne kuch nai kiya hai...mujhe lagta hai koi aur hi baat hai...

So true He's been absolutely heart warming, biwi ke alawa kuch nai dikhta usse, aur biwi se related har cheez dikh jaati hai He's staying true to his words "tumhari aankhein padh sakta hoon main" And his blaming Adi's behavioral changes on to Shagun was expected and justified, considering all that she has done in the past with this kid's mind.

Anyway, he asks her not to worry too much, all will be fine. Ishita mumbled she would take care of herself...but as we can see from what happens next, she doesnt take her own promises or her husband's words too seriously!😡

The way Manoj is 'jataoing his hak' on Shagun, by holding her hand, grabbing her by the shoulders, calling himself her dost and all..I have no doubt they will be bedfellows soon😆😆❤️ sorry, that was an off-colour remark😆...am just sore we got Ishra C after MUCH waiting, sighing, cursing, begging and pleading...and here we will have another C thrown in our faces...out of the blue...

Anyway, Shagun is stuffing her bag with clothes and stuff...packing up to leave the city. Hamesha pack karti hai, jaati hai nai kahin, ulta full preparation ke saath vapas aa jaati hai har baar 😆 Manoj comes and stops her...asks her how she is related to Raman and Ishita..and her inner resolve having broken (and since this 'sharing' is necessary for them to plunge madly in love) she explains - Main Raman ki ex-wife hun. Ruhi aur Adi MERE bacche hain. Maine Raman ko Ashok ke liye chhod diya...jab Ruhi 6 maheene ki thi tab maine use chhod diya...Adi unstable hai kyunki MAIN unstable hun. I am a terrible mother. Maine Raman aur Ishita ki shaadi bhi todne ki koshish ki...main bahut buri hun...I am a selfish woman...jo sirf apne baare mein soch sakti hai...isliye tum bhi mujhse door rehna, kyunki dard ke alawa mujhe aur kuch dena nahi aata.

Okay. The last line was a bit too filmy ...but there! It tumbled out. Her sacchai. This act was MILLION TIMES BETTER THAN "main Raman aur Ishita ke beech kabhi nai aaungi..meri wajah se pehle hi unke life mein bahut prob ho chuki hai"... it seemed she had found a sounding board after ages...in this strange guy...and shared her sob story

No..I am no fan of Shagun's...but I feel it takes great courage to open up about yourself and own up to your vices in front of anyone without caring what they would think of you. Needless to say, since Manoj is ALREADY in love with her...it doesnt matter if she has a horrible past to reckon as her own...he is in love with the saint, not the witch that she essayed the role of more than 3/4th of her life😆 After all, even Lord Ram considers Rishi Valmiki as one of his greatest disciple..and we all know Valmiki was no rishi from the start...he was a dacoit and a murderer😆 Guess, CVs are following the same route.

Manoj has assured Shagun she IS Ruhi..I dont even know what that means...and I wont care to find out. I am just happily lapping it up since this paves the way for Shagun's life to be SORTED AT LAST. And that means, she wont be fiddling with IshRa's marital life😆👏

Arre that's because the other day she told him that she had lots of bad things in her past, and she wanted to leave it all behind, hence she changed her name from Shagun to Ruhi to start a new life. She doesn't want to be the old Shagun anymore. So he said, you're not Shagun, you're Ruhi 😆 (and IshRa will do everything you want them to do because the entire plot is about 'Ruhi ke liye' 😆 😆)

Raksha Bandhan was a cute family affair again. As usual, Bhallas are a mad lot and spend half their time making this arrangement and that. Romi and Raman are dressed suavely ..Raman, ESPECIALLY looked like he materialized out of the pages of a fashion magazine. I LOVED his blue bandhgala kurta! Gleamy, shiny, looked royal..he looked full tota in that!😉😆

@sky blue - Kind of disagree. After the initial few seconds when Rinki arrives, I felt the family warmth was missing a bit this time around. Last year there was too much tension on Rakhi, but there was this sentiment of a close-knit unit, which I didn't feel this time around 😕

Simmi MATERIALIZED out of thin air, with Ananya in tow...who seemed like she didnt give TWO HOOTS what was happening in Bhalla house. She had looked the same even when her mother was dangling off the terrace of a 10storeyed building months ago😆 Bhallas welcomed her with open arms, screaming, "tu aa gayi..tu aa gayi" without bothering to mention WHERE she returned from...arrey yaar, humein bhi dikh raha hai ki woh aa gayi..par woh GAYI KAHAN THI?😉😃😆 Simmi pehle hi aa gayi thi, your review has wrong timing 😆 She comes and Raman tells her to wash utensils and he & Romi burst out laughing 🤣

Rinki went first...tied Rakhi to her brothers..then Simmi did the rituals...Raman gifted her something in an envelope.. it was a down payment of 20 lakhs for a new flat he had purchased for Simmi...she seemed hesitant to take it..and said why did he do it, it wasnt needed. He said - tu independent banna chahti thi isliye...ek nayi shuruat ke liye. Very touching! But I would've been happier and MORE impressed had he got enrolled her in that damn entrepreneurship program she kept talking about and which has now ALMOST become a figment of imagination🤣 and THEN he could've helped her start something. That would have made MUCH MORE SENSE. What will she do with the flat?? Deewar se bricks todke khana khayegi kya? Kuch bhi!

I was glad when Bhalla ji and Toshi intervened...Bhalla ji said he had already planned for his kids..and Raman doesnt need to do all of this...Toshi joined in saying - whatever properties and assets they have, would be divided equally among the siblings...I was like - THANK GOD. This seems like a decent end to freeloading, after all😆 I would be happier if Bhalla ji would ACTUALLY shell out some money and make some bulk payments to prove his point.😉 I dont doubt his intentions. But just.⭐️

Romi whispers sweet nothings into his wifey's ears...telling her he has got her a surprise.. and she tells him "Chhee.. Rakhi pe mere liye gift laaye ho" 😆 😆 😆 he urges to go check in the bedroom...she finds a packet containing bread pakodas...Romi steps in and says its his favorite...makes her taste it...it was a very cute moment...sacchi...I kinda like these two! And I'd have made puppy eyes and adored them both leisurely, had Sarika not broken in with some weird conjectures of her own ... "tumhen nai lagta Papa ji ka yeh decision unfair hai? I mean, Simmi didi toh akeli hain...unhe toh hissa milna hi chahiye...par Raman bhaiyya toh bahut bade businessman hain...unhe phir kyun chahiye hissa?"

And I was like - Hello! You're barely three days old in Bhalla House and you're already trying to tilt the scales of balance in your favour😡...just because one of the kids if a karodpati doesnt mean he doesnt have a right over parental property...hisse ka paise se kya lena dena?? Even if I were a billionaire tomorrow, and my parents had just a home to call their own and they callously willed it off to my sibling...I would be hurt. Not because the house itself would sustain my livelihood. Its because its the place I was born in, grew up in and have fond memories to fall back on. There's somethin called emotional attachment too!

I am abso sure Sarika will create problems in Bhalla parivaar...Toshi's intuition about her may be right after all. I was also annoyed that she should think like that...despite Raman having done SO MUCH FOR HER AND HER CHILD. HER HUSBAND.😡 Some people dont stop being ungrateful.😡

I loved how tactfully Romi explained it to her..how his parents had never differentiated between any of the kids (Okay, am not too sure about this one...we will let this pass😕)...how they had always taught them to share and care...and how Rohit is lucky to be a part of this family, he will learn the right things too.

I think its her personal insecurities that keep bobbing up every now and then. All her life she has seen misery and financial break-downs and people betraying her, never been a part of a family per-se. So she spoke the first logical thing that came to her mind. Doesn't mean I like her sentiment, but I kind of get where she's coming from. Vaise bhi Toshi doesn't trust her, so we'll see a full-blown saas-bahu track here with Ishita trying to be the super woman between these two 😕

Ashok, the rascal, has again made a majboor old driver his pawn against Ishita...in liue of his son's life, he has made a deal with the driver...prolly to knock Ishita off. 😡

We barely get to see Shravu...so it was nice seeing him for like, a minute.😛

Adi's insecurity about his position in Bhalla House, as regards everyone is slowly taking demonic shapes. Gradually seeping into his subconscious...here he was, waiting for his sister to come out and tie Rakhi to him...and there she was, busy tying her own "hand-made rakhi" around her Ishima's waist (for the new baby) ...Adi looks hurt and SIDELINED. Naturally. Pehle he doesnt get to eat fresh parathas...now his sister is busy tying rakhis to unborn unnamed babies, ignoring a live specimen right before her eyes😆😆😆 he leaves the scene...THANKFULLY Ishita notices it and tells Ruhi her Adi bhaiiya must be hungry...

AFTER AGES (I felt) Ruhi was back to acting her OWN AGE.😳 When Adi huffily left the scene, she very innocently asked Ishita, "Adi bhaiyya ko kya hua?' I HOPE WE NEVER GET TO HEAR 'NEW BABY' TALKS FROM HER EVER! Poor Adi...he feels ignored...and overtaken by this new arrival...😭

He is sitting outside on the couch...sullen and brooding..ISHU comes and hands him a box, wrapped beautifully...and tells him its Ruhi's gift..he refuses to take it ...Ananya and Rohit are brought to finish the rituals...he gives Ruhi's gift to Ananya instead.

After they leave, Ishu asks him why he gave off Ruhi's gift to Ananya...separate gifts had been fetched for Ananya...he said "Ruhi meri behen hai. Main use apne pocket money se ek trolley bag gift karna chahta tha"

she senses he is annoyed, possibly hurt, due to some reason...and guesses that maybe he doesnt have enuff money..she offers to buy the gift...he insists he wants it to be purchased with only HIS pocket money...she suggests she will loan the amount to him and they can buy the gift and he can always pay it back...that scene was cute...she DOES have an understanding of how to appeal to an angry kid.👏

Am sure Adi DID wanna gift Rhi something with HIS pocket money...but part of his insistence also stemmed from the slight subconscious grudge he felt for Ishita (or the new baby, am sure its more the latter) for stealing his shine...that's how kids behave. Edgy, territorial, insecure. Adi wants to guard his space...HIS sister he loves so much and is so possessive about. Its all warped in his head and am sure it will all be taken care of soon..but I like the realistic reactions...and portrayal of his insecurity! Gautam is getting better day by day!👏

The only person I felt connected with yesterday was Adi 👏 👏 I felt sad for the kid and annoyed at Ruhi (which I didn't want to, but then the way she's been behaving 😕) Will someone talk to him already before this thing eats him up from inside? 😭

I liked that Ishita managed to cheer him up...and bring him out his reverie...but I didnt like the fact that she just scoots off to wherever she wants to go, without telling anyone...taking anyone along with her...😕😔

I am amazed she is not ONE bit scared after the threatening Ashok gave her. Ideally, she SHUD have been since this has been something she has WANTED for so so long. I feel there is a slight disconnect in the way she is portraying her pregnancy...its a special case after all...but I dont see ANY caution on her part..and that kinda seems a bit off to me

SO irritated at her for all this. HE is working from home to take care of her, and she is least bothered, as of now.

Anyway, Ishita and Adi both go out. Buy the trolley bag. Apparently, mirror bhi complimentary mila Adi ko ..and then of course, he could see in the reflection a car speeding towards Ishita...

PRECAP - I dont know if it actually KNOCKED her off or just GRAZED past her...going by Raman's reactions in the precap, it seems Ishita BARELY missed being hit. And he seemed BALLISTIC about it! He was pissed about Ishita's carelessness and too right he should be! I mean, what's with all the UNNECESSARY outings for the STUPIDEST reasons..when she has been asked to take CARE of herself. Not to mention, she has made ONE BIG FAT ENEMY right at the traffic signal..so ideally, she should be protective of herself and her baby...how can she NOT think of what depths Ashok has stooped to earlier to get even with her and her husband???😡

Adi will save her, don't worry.

Raman is getting pissed NOW. I have been pissed since the time she came out with Sarika DESPITE the doc telling her she needs to rest. Kisika dil rakhne ke liye baat MAAN hi leti...toh kya chala jata??!!

It seems Manoj has sung Shagun's praises before Raman..Shagun gets to know about it and blasts him... "tumhen meri pairwi karne ki kya zaroorat thi??"

"Woh tumhare baare mein bahut galat bol raha tha mujhse raha nai gaya"

"WOH MERE BAARE MEIN BOL RAHA THA NAA! TOH TUMHEN KYA PROBLEM HAI?" Shagun asked!

I am guessing Manoj will say, "Kyunki main tumse pyaar karne laga hun Shagun"😆

And right in the clinic, violins will start playing...somewhere a flute might play some haunting notes...and they will have an intense cinematic eyelock😆😆

People may feel I am bashing Ishita..but she is one of my favorites and it really rankles me to see her jumping out and about, informing not a soul and just taking off to wherever she wants to...I am sorry, but this is not how a woman (who has been called time and again, a special case) in her position would really behave like that...I personally know of my friend's mom resting in bed for the WHOLE of 9 months and doing NO work...coz she would suffer frequent miscarriages...just for a second child, she remained confined to her room...Im not saying Ishita ought to do that...but for someone who WANTED to be a mother so badly and still continues to have complications, doesnt this carefree, overconfident behaviour fall at odds with the reaction she displayed the first time she got to know she was pregnant??

I feel sorry for Raman...I HATE it when he gets sidelined the way he does. He ALREADY had two kids dammit! But its for Ishita's happiness he is taking care of the minutest things, worrying himself to death..just to make her dream come true... and it doesnt strike his wife for a single minute and she goes hopping across the city😡 Am v v annoyed! And I feel pregnanT WOH hai, Ishita nai😔

Ruhi aur Adi MERE bacche hain. Maine Raman ko Ashok ke liye chhod diya...jab Ruhi 6 maheene ki thi tab maine use chhod diya...Adi unstable hai kyunki MAIN unstable hun. I am a terrible mother. Maine Raman aur Ishita ki shaadi bhi todne ki koshish ki...main bahut buri hun...I am a selfish woman...jo sirf apne baare mein soch sakti hai...isliye tum bhi mujhse door rehna, kyunki dard ke alawa mujhe aur kuch dena nahi aata.

Okay. The last line was a bit too filmy ...but there! It tumbled out. Her sacchai. This act was MILLION TIMES BETTER THAN "main Raman aur Ishita ke beech kabhi nai aaungi..meri wajah se pehle hi unke life mein bahut prob ho chuki hai"... it seemed she had found a sounding board after ages...in this strange guy...and shared her sob story

Manoj has assured Shagun she IS Ruhi..I dont even know what that means...and I wont care to find out. I am just happily lapping it up since this paves the way for Shagun's life to be SORTED AT LAST. And that means, she wont be fiddling with IshRa's marital life😆👏

Arre that's because the other day she told him that she had lots of bad things in her past, and she wanted to leave it all behind, hence she changed her name from Shagun to Ruhi to start a new life. She doesn't want to be the old Shagun anymore. So he said, you're not Shagun, you're Ruhi 😆 (and IshRa will do everything you want them to do because the entire plot is about 'Ruhi ke liye' 😆 😆) Hahahaha...Nidhi...I was just being sarcastic😆😆😆 I DO know what it means...Ii was just tired of explaining that angle...didnt wanna waste a page writing on WHY she wants to be Ruhi and all...Oh god, why cant the CVs cut down the DRAMA??

Raksha Bandhan was a cute family affair again. As usual, Bhallas are a mad lot and spend half their time making this arrangement and that. Romi and Raman are dressed suavely ..Raman, ESPECIALLY looked like he materialized out of the pages of a fashion magazine. I LOVED his blue bandhgala kurta! Gleamy, shiny, looked royal..he looked full tota in that!😉😆

@sky blue - Kind of disagree. After the initial few seconds when Rinki arrives, I felt the family warmth was missing a bit this time around. Last year there was too much tension on Rakhi, but there was this sentiment of a close-knit unit, which I didn't feel this time around 😕 I was okay with it...Nidhi yeh bhi toh socho naa...hafte mein chaar baar toh yeh log arrangement karte rehte hain kisi na kisi cheez ke liye...ITNI EXCITEMENT layenge kahan se?? 😆

Rinki went first...tied Rakhi to her brothers..then Simmi did the rituals...Raman gifted her something in an envelope.. it was a down payment of 20 lakhs for a new flat he had purchased for Simmi...she seemed hesitant to take it..and said why did he do it, it wasnt needed. He said - tu independent banna chahti thi isliye...ek nayi shuruat ke liye. Very touching! But I would've been happier and MORE impressed had he got enrolled her in that damn entrepreneurship program she kept talking about and which has now ALMOST become a figment of imagination🤣 and THEN he could've helped her start something. That would have made MUCH MORE SENSE. What will she do with the flat?? Deewar se bricks todke khana khayegi kya? Kuch bhi!

I was glad when Bhalla ji and Toshi intervened...Bhalla ji said he had already planned for his kids..and Raman doesnt need to do all of this...Toshi joined in saying - whatever properties and assets they have, would be divided equally among the siblings...I was like - THANK GOD. This seems like a decent end to freeloading, after all😆 I would be happier if Bhalla ji would ACTUALLY shell out some money and make some bulk payments to prove his point.😉 I dont doubt his intentions. But just.⭐️

Romi whispers sweet nothings into his wifey's ears...telling her he has got her a surprise.. and she tells him "Chhee.. Rakhi pe mere liye gift laaye ho" 😆 😆 😆 he urges to go check in the bedroom...she finds a packet containing bread pakodas...Romi steps in and says its his favorite...makes her taste it...it was a very cute moment...sacchi...I kinda like these two! And I'd have made puppy eyes and adored them both leisurely, had Sarika not broken in with some weird conjectures of her own ... "tumhen nai lagta Papa ji ka yeh decision unfair hai? I mean, Simmi didi toh akeli hain...unhe toh hissa milna hi chahiye...par Raman bhaiyya toh bahut bade businessman hain...unhe phir kyun chahiye hissa?"

I think its her personal insecurities that keep bobbing up every now and then. All her life she has seen misery and financial break-downs and people betraying her, never been a part of a family per-se. So she spoke the first logical thing that came to her mind. Doesn't mean I like her sentiment, but I kind of get where she's coming from. Vaise bhi Toshi doesn't trust her, so we'll see a full-blown saas-bahu track here with Ishita trying to be the super woman between these two 😕 I agree with most of what you are saying, except the 'logical' part...it doesnt seem logical to me...logical and moral is what Toshi and Bhalla ji plan to do...with their property...I do gt where she is coming from...but it doesnt discount the fact that as the Bhallas' child and the eldest one at that, he has a RIGHTFUL share in his father's property

Am sure Adi DID wanna gift Rhi something with HIS pocket money...but part of his insistence also stemmed from the slight subconscious grudge he felt for Ishita (or the new baby, am sure its more the latter) for stealing his shine...that's how kids behave. Edgy, territorial, insecure. Adi wants to guard his space...HIS sister he loves so much and is so possessive about. Its all warped in his head and am sure it will all be taken care of soon..but I like the realistic reactions...and portrayal of his insecurity! Gautam is getting better day by day!👏

The only person I felt connected with yesterday was Adi 👏 👏 I felt sad for the kid and annoyed at Ruhi (which I didn't want to, but then the way she's been behaving 😕) Will someone talk to him already before this thing eats him up from inside? 😭 I am sure Raman or Ishita will eventually speak up to him...BOTH need to..since he is insecure on both fronts..I found Ruhi much more tolerable yest..

I am amazed she is not ONE bit scared after the threatening Ashok gave her. Ideally, she SHUD have been since this has been something she has WANTED for so so long. I feel there is a slight disconnect in the way she is portraying her pregnancy...its a special case after all...but I dont see ANY caution on her part..and that kinda seems a bit off to me

P.S. People may feel I am bashing Ishita..but she is one of my favorites and it really rankles me to see her jumping out and about, informing not a soul and just taking off to wherever she wants to...I am sorry, but this is not how a woman (who has been called time and again, a special case) in her position would really behave like that...I personally know of my friend's mom resting in bed for the WHOLE of 9 months and doing NO work...coz she would suffer frequent miscarriages...just for a second child, she remained confined to her room...Im not saying Ishita ought to do that...but for someone who WANTED to be a mother so badly and still continues to have complications, doesnt this carefree, overconfident behaviour fall at odds with the reaction she displayed the first time she got to know she was pregnant??

I feel sorry for Raman...I HATE it when he gets sidelined the way he does. He ALREADY had two kids dammit! But its for Ishita's happiness he is taking care of the minutest things, worrying himself to death..just to make her dream come true... and it doesnt strike his wife for a single minute and she goes hopping across the city😡 Am v v annoyed! And I feel pregnanT WOH hai, Ishita nai😔
