I am an Indian and Hindu. I feel really bad because I hear other Indians say that Amanat is the best singer but they will not vote for him because he is a Pakistani. That is unfair. This is the chance for Indians to prove that we are open minded and religion or nationality do not play a role when it comes to justice. We Indians are different. All that I can say is if you think Amanat deserves your vote, please don't stop yourself. He is a 18 yr old kid and if he loses because he is from Pakistan it will convey a very negative message about Indians. India is progressing and so are Indians. Prove it.... Vote for who you truly believe is the best singer... not a good person. This competition is not about voting for a good person it is only about the best singer...
I believe Amanat and Aneek are both good. Though I cant stand HR and his arrogance will work against Aneek. ID is a great mentor he never begs for votes for his people.

There could be a handful of Indians who say that.. but thats abt it.. as far as I see.. people like Raja or Aneek better hence they dont vote for Amanat, now to each thier own right? There are quite a few Amanat fans like you & me,... and we will continue what we do.. support Amanat! So I think far & large Indians are voting for whom they feel is a better singer!

Actually, further expanding on this... I simply think all people in general should vote open-mindedly. Disregard prejudices that do not pertain to music unless you feel the factor strongly contributes to the singers' quality.

Be the singer Indian or Pakistani, fat or skinny, human or alien, kofta or kumkwat, any color of the rainbow...who effing cares? I want good music.

Not sure... So far I have heard at least 5-10 people say so. And they all are the older generation who will never read the forum unfortunately

Wittytwit.. you are right.. but there is little we can do about regional bias...I'm giving an extreme example here.. but still here I go.. We support our country's team in a sport even if we know some one team is better! Regional Bias is also a type of patriotism! In an ideal world... it shdnt play a role in a talent show but then.. no such thing exists as an ideal world!

In toto.

It is difficult to control anyone else's feelings.

But by just simply posting obvious truths, it's doing something. It's provoking change, though little.

It's like in Chemistry when we learn about "ideal gas laws." True, in reality, gases don't behave like the ideal. There is no perfection. But, we use the idealism to compare how the others' stand.

Have no fear of perfection; you'll never reach it.

But yet, we still try =-) Why not try it in this case too?

May the best singer win!

How did Amanat get into top 3? The answer is simple. People voted based on the talent. If there was such bias, Amanat and Mussarat would have been voted out in the first two rounds of the final. There may be handful folks whose thinking is different but you can generalize based on that.

Great topic. I agree with all of you. Everyone should vote on the base of talent.

Oh vote for Amanat based on his talent and not hold his place of origin against him, vote for Aneek based on his talent dont hold his mentors antics or his own against him if his singing is good, and vote for Raja if he sings well too.
