Agree many people manipulated Ragz to get personal gains. But Rags is not a dudh peeti bachi that she will get manipulated. She got so blind in getting Laksh that she didn't even think twice before killing her sister? It is easy to overlook a crime which is committed on an impulse, but Ragz crimes are well planned and plotted.

Agree Dadi is more evil than Ragz. It is her pravarish which is reflected in Ragz, but... Dadi still doesn't know Ragz true colors. She doesn't know Ragz almost killed Swara. Dadi herself tried to kill Sharmishta, and might support Ragz in all her crimes. But fact remains that Dadi still thinks Ragz can do no evil.

Ragz wanted Laksh and got him. When Swara herself told her she will be leaving this house and Ragzz can live peacefully, what was the need to do the kidnapping drama? Her obsession with Laksh has turned to jealousy over Swara? Or was it always the case? This whole drama is not really for Laksh but jealousy for Swara? Would Ragz be obsessed with laksh if he had been in love with some other girl?

As far as i understood the character of Ragini, she doesnot have any feeling for her sister..
That relation is much weaker, i think, may be she came to know that she has a sister only months ago..
But at the same time swara accepts her and loves her as own sister, that is because of her good upbringing and broad mentality..
Even though her family self declares to be sanskari, all we know, they haven't even the taste of original values in their life.
They believe in show offs in the name of Sanskar..
For Ragini, i dont think she know the value of a true sister.
And her idol in life is her dadi, who herself is a witch, and the sametime have lots of justifications in her doings..
May be because of this, Ragini doesn't have any guilty of her misdeeds..
Ofcourse, Ragini is an evil, and the reason i found is, her mentality, which was highly influenced by dadi..
See, they dont care for others..
Only their gain, their community.. Only these things are important to them..

Actually Ragini has been always pampered by her family, her being the 'lado' of the house and since her mother is dead she was given more attention...surely many times she was manipulated but overall she was always the who got everything and she is habituated to be like a princess

on the other hand Swara has been taught to be strong independent and she has not been treated like a princess so she is the realistic and practical person here.

So ragini when was rejected could not handle it cause she she always thought that she could get everything...her liking for laksh slowly turned to obsessive love and now she is behaving like a psycho..I think she really needs professional help..I agree that she has been instigated and provoked...

I hope the makers instead of showing a normal redemption track show Ragini getting professional help because that would be more realistic and convincing...

but i agree to u to some extent...yes they all kept triggering her...and when she was all into it...they just came and say...back off...like really?

is it so easy?...its so easy to back off?...why didn't dadi backed off from her hatred for bengali's then?...everyone told her to...same case with others...

but yes i do have other opinions as she should have not been influenced so easily...but then everyone in this show is influenced...not even a single character away from it..

I totally agree with you , its ashame not many people want to see or blame those people who made ragini the way she is today . For those that said laksh told ragini he loved swara lets not forget he used her for his own reasons and even after knowing his feelings for swara he still didnt tell her until she found out herself . As many people can see through my post im not exactly a laksh fan manly cause i cant sympathise with his character , up untill this point hes done nothing much other then moan and groan . He is very immature and does things to spite swara in every way , he still needs alot of growing up then maybe ill start liking him but for now i cant connect with his character . I seem toconnect more with ragini which says alot , i dont know but maybe its the acting so far that hasnt impressed me . Good luck to laksh in making me sympathise with him .

Oh please Ragini is blind. Shes mental.

She has always been treated like a princess and the 'lado' of the house after her moms death.She was jealous because she felt like Swara was stealing her spot as princess. She has no real connection or attachment to Laksh...she just couldn't stand rejection being that she felt like she was princess.

No one influenced her. Sanskar never told her to join forces with him. He told her to back off but she kept threatening to expose him. Laksh told her 1000000x that he didnt want her and that he loves Swara. Sujatha introduced plots to her but she was the one who went through with them. Dadi told her not to to stray away on an evil path because she will never be able to leave the cycle. She didn't listen to anyone...

Morals are something which come from within. What is right will always be right to you and what is wrong will always be wrong. No one can influence them.

Ragini was plain selfish and only cared about her motives. IF she acted on impulse it be different but she plotted against everyone knowing exactly what she was doing. She destroyed so many relationships for herself.

Destroying your family. Seperating your parents. Drugging your sister. Ruining her reputation. Attempting to kill her. Framing her.It can't be justified.

great post shreeswathy just cos it got many people thinking about ragini's end of the stick. but heres the thing, nobody influenced her to do anything other than her dadi. but its conveniently forgotten that its not like she's incapable of going against dadi, she did it for her parents once. i think its completely that she only raises her voice when it SUITS her. and then pretends to be a scared dove when that suits her. dadi's influence on her totally ends when she wants something that dadi doesn't just hand her if you notice- whether its Laksh or Shomi as a mother.

Now coming to Laksh, he has gone blue in the face at this point clarifying that he does not love her. but honestly, his plight, his likes, his dislikes, what he wants, hasn't made a spot of a difference to her at all. she doesn't love him. she just felt like swara took his toy and she wanted that back. she's always known i think, even before lucky or swara that they loved each other. subconsciously maybe, but she did. the only time id fault Laksh was when sanskaar was threatening to kill himself. i understand why he would do it, but it doesn't justify playing with the life of a girl who is also someones daughter and grand daughter and sister, just as important to them as your brother is to you. but honestly that was the point i was sure ragini never loved him. she just watched him beg dadi and didn't do squat. just stood around like a shocked pretty fool and then grinned when laksh took his bad decision. she'd gone against dadi for sanskaar before, but suddenly now she couldn't defy dadi whilst her love was on the floor begging. through out she had a creepy smile.

Now Sanskaar, I've thought of it really carefully. Ragini seems to only be influenced when she wants to be. She could've easily exposed him post the revelation or safeguarded her love from him, but she chose to assist him instead. he wasn't unclear about his intentions with her- he wanted to destroy laksh. and she willfully assisted him in that. he never said i will get you your love back. it was always a by product of destruction of that very love. sanskaar may've helped her out by supplying the drugs and getting her in touch with the goons, but the actions were all hers.

honestly until now, I've found her to be extremely stubborn and strong minded. even more so than Swara i would say, cos she aims and achieves by whatever means necessary, her head isn't clouded by emotions that hinder her goal. the signs of a true psychopath. and i agree that one more factor contributed to her crazy- her insane jealousy of swara. she was always praised by all, everyone saw her clothes her quiet demure and sweet nature whilst everyone thought swara brash, talkative and a 'mod'. so it never effected her before. even swara's own mother's testament was she's the most sanskaari girl you'll ever meet. but only for Laksh, swara was a preference. and she didn't understand that. she thus, couldn't accept that. i feel like if shekhar had reacted to swara with a preference over ragini or even shomi had differentiated between the two, then even her crazy would be triggered. laksh was just an excuse. she just hated, more than anything, that her perfect world, where she was the perfect girl, where everything was perfect, got shattered by a guy who didn't want any part in her world but wanted to be a part of swara's much harder life, her imperfect world.

But now all arrows are pointing towards Ragini, because, all these evil effects have made her so strong that, even her gurus themselves are getting the taste of their influence.

She did wrong to Swara, nobody can justify her for ploting against her loving sister, who gave importance to Ragini than herself..
But others did wrong to her, to their selfish needs.. For that Ragini deserves a sympathy.
Even I hate Ragini at present. I cant tolerate her now onscreen. I even hate the song "moh moh ke daage" from the moment they played it for her.
But I think, when we badmouth Ragini, these people are also dont deserve any sympathy..
If Ragini is bad, we cant ignore their role in that.
She still have some goodness left in her, like yesterday, when she heard about Shona-shekhar re-uniting, at first, she was happy. It was dadi who again mislead her.
Sure, once the truth out, Swara will help Ragini to regain everything, including her husband.
She will surely have all these reasons to support Ragiini..

Please, no rotten eggs, tomatoes or chappals.
Though I know, this post will surely invite these things.
Just give your views... ;)

I know what ragini is did is absolutely wrong. But I completely agree with you. You said exactly what I was thinking. There are so many persons who fuelled the fire in her, who pulled her evilness outside by taking her so much for granted. What I want to conclude is she should definitely be blamed, but blaming her alone doesn't make any sense atleast to me.

What Ragini haters you have forgotten Ragini's character was positive and I am sure the serial last 1000 years so she'll be redeemed. I don't understand when swaragini started as two leads why they had to make Ragini so bad and swara the devi
