not in every family but in some family character like Sarla exist I feel that's why we see so many crime on our daily newspaper...

and I feel in every family there a character like Sarla exist who keeps doing her drama every time to gain sympathy from others...may be they won't harm family members but they trouble the family members...

I'll give credit to my own family. I have Sarla like Buaji's and many uncles as in male Sarlas. My Dadi was same or to more then dangerous compare to Shanti Dadi. There are many villains in my family.


I and my mother can easily relate to the story since we are living with the same type of people for years now.


But yes it is true. Many people can relate themselves to Mere Angne Mein.

Many things shown in serial happens even the necklace thing because there are many jewelries and other assets which had taken away from us and had gone to my Bua, and my father himself always on his feet ready to give anything away not caring for his wife and children. I really hate it, doing things for your sisters and brothers is one thing but neglecting your wife and children not having an ounce of care is another thing. Really hard to live in such an environment but had to. So there I can relate to Nimmi, Shivam, and Preethi. Only exception is my mother knows the true color of the people we are surrounded with.

Oh no I'm not demeaning my family but stating the fact.

I'll not say more if then lot of things are there to share which I'm not comfortable.

Only thing seems impossible is Marriage fiasco, such thing happening is little less anywhere because even a dumb can figure out what is happening around.

I pray to God don't give me such an Agna when I get married except a Good bantha like Shivam as my husband. Can't handle such people there too.

Only in serial we will see that riya will fight for everyone's right and may be in the end everything will be alright also..dadi will be good..Sarla will be changed but in reality they never can change...in fact they always keep taunting...and if someone protests, they can't stand it for long...it doesn't show weakness in 21st century but it's become the reality...and it's truly sad

Yep, and my Daadi came to sense only in her death bed. What is the use yaar? I really could not understand.

Few days before her death she had been calling us. Maa said she was asking for her when she was dying. It is really sad people recognize their mistake/sin only when there is no time left in their hand.

Sarla is an antique piece dead as a human being which is being stuffed to be kept in the museum and turns into evil whenever it is night.
She's stone hearted She will only feel it when one of her own children will do something completely wrong or will malign or mistreat her.

Yes I have 3 buaji like sarla.and yes my dadi is exactly like shanti
yes they are not into kidnapping and stuff but they are worst than sarla.
and yes we also have male sarla.
and that is why I love this show.
