Drashti Dhami: Sanaya and I love performing
Drashti Dhami, who won season 6 of dance reality show 'Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa' is rooting for her BFF, Sanaya Irani. The actress feels that Sanaya's next performance is amazing and to watch out for.
"I think Sanaya's best act was the Charlie Chaplin one and the upcoming one. She is performing a butterfly act, I don't want to reveal anything. However, you have to watch the act, it is just amazing. Please vote for her," said Drashti.
The 'Madhubala' fame actress feels that Sanaya and her journey on the show has been almost same, "I think in 'Jhalak' everyone's journey is the same. Initially, Sanaya was like I can't do it. I get nervous but I told her just give six weeks. After 6 weeks your body gets used to it. When you start performing well then it is not about putting someone down, it is about you competing with yourself. Every week when your act is finished you are actually surprised by yourself that you did a dance form that probably you have not even heard of. When you see the aerial acts it looks so beautiful that you want to do it. You know that if you have managed to reach from A to C, you can reach E also it just needs some more effort," explained the actress.
Talking about her 'Jhalak' experience, Drashti said that Sanaya and she both love performing, "For me it had become like while shooting for 'Madhubala' in morning, I used to get sleepy but the moment it was 4, I would actually be looking forward to going on the 'Jhalak' sets. It is not about winning, it is about performing. I know Sanaya and I we both love performing. . After putting in so much that stage becomes your stage.
