Chapter 10
Before anyone could answer, Rukaiya answered"are aunty aapko jodha ki harkate dikhani hai.." And giggled. Jalal was excited to see what jodha did whereas jodha was flabbergasted. Raj switched on the tv, inserted the PD and started the movie and pictures. The first folder had the pictures of the first day of shoot where Jodha was acquainting with the new cast. Then, slowly came her offscreen pictures where she slowly showed off her bubbly and chirpy nature. Then her came her pictures with her fans, signing autographs, receiving awards, hosting one of the award shows, giving interviews. All the way Jalal noticed she had a genuine sweet smile on her face. Then came a movie. Jodha's face turned pale. She was about to standup but her mother forcibly made her sit down. The movie played.
It started with Jodha arguing with someone. Then she went away from there. Later after 5 seconds or so, there came a person riding a bike on high speed like fast blowing wind and went away from there. After some distance, the bike stopped and the masked man, unmasked himself. Everyone were shocked to see that is was a girl but her face was not clearly visible yet. All the while Rukaiya, aarav and raj were laughing silently whereas jodha was sitting there hiding her face. The girl slowly walked near the camera. And they were even more shocked to see the lady. It was Jodha. As soon as everyone saw her face, the three chucklers broke into a hearty laughter where as the other lady became even more embarrassed. Jalal loved this adventurous Jodha. He had never seen her so embarrassed. Before he could enjoy her state even more, the ring of her phone saved her. Though, it wasnt of much use as it was just an advertisement. She returned back to her place when the intensity of laughter decreased. Many of the pictures were clicked when she didnt even know that she was being captured in the camera. They were random pictures. Many of them had similar poses like when she put her hand on Rukaiya's shoulder or both her hands on her hips after the shot was over and even when she was learning her dialogue, her adventure scenes,their pictures after the packup. Those pictures even included their makeup room masti and their masti in their hotel room before they shifted to their rented house and their partying fun too!!! Soon this also got over. Jodha was glad to see the nostalgic pictures. Now it was the time for rukaiya, moti and aarav too to bid adieu to jodha and her family. The special guest thoroughly enjoyed the birthday girl's cute pictures as he was totally alien to the Jodha on her sets.

IN THE AFTERNOON
Jodha wasnt going to the navratri function as she was utterly exhausted. She was sitting in her balcony as usual when Jalal entered.
"Hey hi!" Said Jalal.
"Hello. Come sit." Jodha said in her ever sweet voice. Jalal went as sat beside her. "Jodha, can i asked you one thing?" Asked Jalal to which the lady agreed. "Why did you like the peacock feather more than those expensive gifts?" Jodha just looked at him in confusion. "I mean it was a cheap one compared to the other ones,then why did you like that the most?"now Jodha was clear with Jalal's question." Jalal, let's suppose one of your fan gifts you a gold watch and I gift you a photo of you and me, then which gift would you like more.. Me or that fan??" Jodha cross questioned him. "Ofcourse the one which you gifted but y r u asking this???" Jalal was confused with Jodha's question." And y?" Asked Jodha. Umm... May be because you are more close to me then that fan." Jalal shrugged. "Is that the sole reason?"asked Jodha. "Umm... The may be more reasons but right now this is the only reason i can thing of" answered Jalal." Ok let me tell you directly without further questions. I like those gifts rather i loved them the most. You know Jalal sometimes we can't compare the price. We just have to accept the gifts with whole heart. It doesn't matter whether the person is your fan or your best friend. This thing that matters is the feeling which is there in that person's heart. May be your bestie is gifting you just for the sake of gifting but your fan is gifting you with love and care towards you then the fan's gift holds more value than you bestie's gift. Same case was applied here. Just the difference was that none of those people held any bad feelings towards me." Jodha smiled after her reply.
Jalal was captivated by her answer. He too smiled at her. "And one more thing. Money doest hold any value in front of love. You can't buy love and care with money. It comes naturally." Jalal was very happy with the way she made him understand her point of view. And somewhere deep down in his heart, he knew that she was speaking the truth."ok Jalal i thing we must go and take some rest now. I am a bit tired.." Jodha stood up to go. But listening to Jalal's voice she stopped."wait a minute Jodha" with this Jalal stood up and walked up to her. "What's today?" Asked Jalal. "My birthday.." Now it was Jodha's turn to be confused. "So don't you expect a gift from me?" Now Jodha was speechless. The glint of mischief in Jalal's eyes went unnoticed by her. If she would utter a no then it would mean that she was underestimating him. And if she would say yes then it would mean that she had really big expectations from everyone. Not getting any response from her he said "Actually I didn't know that it's your birthday today and even ammi didn't tell me and I am still not sure about your likes and dislikes So I haven't bought anything for you. Sorry..." Jalal said in a disappointed tone. "Areee Jalal it's absolutely fine." Trying to pacify him. "No. Today evening you are coming with me to the nearest mall and I am going to buy you a gift of your wish..."said Jalal. "Are no jalal it's ok". But Jalal being Jalal was adamant to his decision. So at-last Jodha had to agree.
Both of them went to take some rest thinking about the evening they were going to spend together.

THAT EVENING- IN THE MALL
Both had already departed since they had decided to visit the mall. Jalal was all set to buy a gift for Jodha. They had already arrived in the mall. Jodha was looking around to decide which shop to go in. Meanwhile Jalal was busy in admiring her. She called him without looking at him. "Jalal. You have bought me here but itna bade mall me mai kaha jau aur kya khareedu?"Jalal came out of his wonderland and was glad that Jodha didn't catch him red handed. "Ha w..what?"asked Jalal. Jodha again asked the same question but in a bit louder voice than before. Jalal and Jodha started to stroll around and decided that if they'd find anything interesting they would investigate further about that.
Jalal and Jodha reached a jewelry shop. Jalal saw a beautiful ring hung on the holder. It was a silver coloured heart shaped ring studded with a huge sapphire stone. Jalal guessed it was Jodha's birthstone. He seemed to be interested in that bauble. He looked towards Jodha. She was looking in another direction and assured himself that she hasn't seen that. He asked Jodha to go forward, he'll join her. As he was sure that she went ahead, he went in. There were many more pretty fineries there. But his eyes were struck on that particular ring itself. He told the jeweler to show him the studded one for his special friend. The jeweler showed him the which which he was told to. It looked more elegant from near. As soon as the customer saw it, he instantly selected without looking for its price. Though he knew that it was expensive but didn't bother about that. The shop keeper packed it in a enticing chest. Jalal thanked him and headed out.
Jalal stepped out of the shop. He saw Jodha standing near the toy shop and staring something. He watched her actions for something. Now even he was eager to know which thing can make Jodha Singh stand still for even a minute. He went ahead and what he saw made him chuckle.
Jodha was gazing at a huge off-white cute teddy bear holding a pink flower in its hands. Jalal coughed to divert the beautiful lady's attention towards him. She saw him and was embarrassed. "Chale?"asked she. Instead of answering her, he asked "did u like it?" "Wh..what..no.. ..no" denied Jodha." Jodha, you seriously don't know how to lie. Come" he took Jodha in the shop and told the shopkeeper to pack that sweet teddy. Now he understood why Jodha was called 'Edy'. As soon as they went out, jalal saw that Jodha's eyes were twinkling. That implied that she wanted to say something. So he asked. "How did you know that i want to say something?" Asked a confused Jodha. "Just... I understood it by seeing your face. Now tell what do you want to say" "thankyou" said Jodha giving him a million dollar smile. Jalal to smiled looking at her smile. "My pleasure." "Now can we go to eat something? I m very hungry.."said jodha rubbing her tummy. Jalal laughed seeing her cute antics. They went to the eatery.

They ate some snacks. Jodha felt content after filling her hunger. Jalal also felt content seeing her content but the reason? it was yet unknown. Now they were heading towards the parking lot. Suddenly, Jodha slipped due to the slippery floor and was about to fall down. Jalal went to hold her, but before he could hold her, one strong pair of arms held the falling lady. Jodha tightly shut her eyes with fear, but as soon as she realised that she hasn't fell down she slowly open her eyes. And what she saw left her totally shocked. Her eyes were widened with shock.. Jodha:"Youuu!!!!!! Hawww!.."
Other person:"Yup me here.."
Jodha:"How can u be here .. Tum to.."
Before she could speak the other person cut her.
"Yeah i went but came today early morning."
Jodha: mujhe kya.. Vaise bhi I m not talking to you. She scrunched her nose and walked away. He called her from back.
"Hey, hey, hey Jodhu! Wait! Can i know the reason y my cutie is not talking to me?" And pulled her nose. Jalal was highly enraged now. How dare he call her with this name...How dare he touch his Jodha.Wait. HIS JODHA? Was she really HIS Jodha??? It was really a big question for him now...
She turned to him and said. "Ohooo. So now the perpetrator is actually asking me what has he done??? Great!"
"Are Jodhu ab bata bhi do na.. Itna bhi kya gussa... I am your sweet sa, cute sa, pyaara sa dost naaa... To batao naaa" and made a puppy face.
Jodha:"What was yesterday?"
Other person: i know.. but I've already given you the gift naaa... So now y angry?
Jodha: u didnt even bother to call me right?vaise to Jodhu.. Jodhu karte rehte ho.. And now on such a special day kaha gayi tumhari Jodhu?
Other person: accha baba i m sorry... And held his ears.
Jodha: Jalal, come lets go. I don't want to talk to him.
Other person: Are Jodhu sorry na.. Please... Tu meri acchi dost hai naaa.. To itna kya gussa...
Jodha: (facing her back towards him) Iss baar tumhara koi natak nahi chalega Surya. Pure saal me tumhe ye ek hi din mila tha na jane ke liye. (And smiled sarcastically.
Now Jalal came to know who was he. He was the person most talked about in the Singh's house. Even HIS (Jalal's) mother knew Surya.
Jodha couldn't stay angry from her cute childhood bestie. Though she tried really hard to show fake anger but at-last Surya confronted her. Though she was one of the top actresses but she couldn't resist herself from forgiving her sweet best friend. So at-last she accepted his sorry. She took leave and resumed her Tour to the mall with her new found friend Jalal. Jalal was furious that he told almost everything about him to her but she didnt even bother to tell him about her boyfriend or whoever he was. Silence laid for a long time till Jodha decided to start a talk with the furious man or to be precise JELOUS.
"Jalal where would you like to go next?" Jalal was in no mood to answer her question right now. So he just ignored her which didn't go well with the elated lady.
"Jalal.. I m asking you something and you are just ignoring it..." Now Jalal's jealousy was replaced by anger.
"What should I tell you ha what??" He said rudely.
Jodha who was smiling till now, became serious and asked him "why are you talking to me like that? Have i done something wrong?" "Wrong?no,no. It was me who did wrong thing by revealing almost everything about me to you which i dont even share with my mom. But you(pointing his finger towards her) you didn't even bother to tell me about your friends,boyfriends or watever. What do you think of yourself ha.. You can do anything if you are an actress? Then let me tell you Jodha singh i am Jalaluddin Mohommad. If you know how to play games then i know how to win in that." With this the angry young man walked towards the parking slot furiously. Jodha had an amalgam of emotions. It was anger, pain, confusion, and what not! She was hell angry on him now.
How would he insult her in from of the public(theres not much public in the parking slot but still there were many at that time. )and put a wrong allegation on her without knowing the whole truth.
