1) If one is a trained dancer and another a non trained dancer, what are the yardsticks to measure/compare them ?
2) Is it even possible for a non trained one to perform better than the trained dancer if you just compare the absolute performance ?
3) So, it appears that in this show the yardstick is more to do with the growth of the individual.
4) Immunity ball is probably not meant for the best performance. But for the person who showed tremendous improvement in say a week. Or say the last few weeks.
5) Or probably to a person, who touched the hearts of the judges with his/her effort. The act of theirs manage to strike some chords. And you would immediately give the ball away.
6) Once that happens one need not score the person, as the person is safe for the next week.
I felt Mohit showed tremendous improvement last week. In fact over many weeks before also. I still remember some of his steps, even though the steps of other have slowly faded away. Yes Fairsal's perf might be a better one. But he is one who has already won DID, so what is surprising in it. Also the act is more so because of choreo and trick.
Similarly this week, probably on absolute scale Sanaya may not be the best. But I guess she must have shown tremendous improvement. I still remember her Charlie chaplin act. For me those are the perfs which are great which you remember even after many days. Many of Lauren's dances (Just loved hers and Punits), Ashishs (esp the flower and bud and many more), Rashmi Desai (Raat ko Nashaa Nashaa and Rakt charit), Varun Baroda's (Nach Baliye dances) among the ones that I watched. I just watched many of these only once. But I still remember many steps in them. Really these touched my heart and if I had been the judge, I would have definitely given an immunity ball immediately after these acts.
