Today's young lot of actors are a very smart lot. They don't think emotionally rather are very objective about their decisions. One clear example of this clear thinking is Parth Samthaan who had become very popular with his great acting prowess in MTV'S top rating youth genre Kaisi Yeh Yaariyan. Knowing very well that the youth genre is still very limited he has just smartly moved out of KY2 and may now jump in the GEC bandwagon.
According to sources, he might soon be seen in a & TV show tentatively titled Hawa Hawai to be produced by well known production house, Four Lion. The latter is well known among the youth brigade for their hit shows Geet Hui Sabse Parayi (Star One) and Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon (Star Plus).
Fans are quite upset with Parth but the good looking dude has realized that his career needs growth and if his fans really love him they will understand his motives and will support him fully. He is hopeful that they will come around appreciate the fact actor needs to evolve and keep doing different kind of stuff. Parth finally admitted on Twitter yesterday that he has decided to move on. In a positive gesture he also thanked BBC and MTV for giving him the lead role KYY in the first place.
Many say it would have been better for all concerned had Parth publicly declared that he has decided to quit KYY when season 1 ended. He maintained a deafening silence since the past two or three weeks ever since the season 2 news had broken out. This quietness raised the hopes of his fans who thought that he will come back and hence were heart-broken when the penny finally dropped. There also appears to have been some breakdown in negotiations between Parth and MTV/ BBC for confirmed sources were telling us till a week back that he will be back as Manik. Then at the eleventh hour we heard that he had quit. Could be that talks with & TV had stretched till the last mile??
But maybe we are being harsh on Parth when we question his silence? For we all know how unpredictable TV business is. Here many times casting decisions/money matters are taken at the last moment. And may be MTV could have also asked Parth to keep mum till the very end for the suspense keeps ratings high.
PS: Hope Parth chooses the script well lest he might end up doing another Humsafars with Four Lions.
