Why can't Nandini love again?

I saw a lot of posts on the forum saying Manan can't die, Nandini can't love someone else, etc. Although I agree that what Manan had was beyond beautiful & we'll always miss them but why can't Nandini love someone else?
She's an eighteen year old girl. She came to Mumbai for her brother's treatment & to make a career. She never knew that life had so much in store for her. Unexpectedly, she fell in love with someone, that someone was Manik Malhotra. They made a beautiful couple & truly loved each other but now everything has fell apart. As far as I know, Manik is dead.

So why can't a young, talented, sweet & very lovable girl love someone else?

She has to move on someday. She has her whole life in front of her. Will she remain single all her life? Doesn't she deserve a life partner?

I don't know if this new guy is Nandini's love interest or not. I don't know what happened to Manik. I just know that if he actually is her love interest then they should show her moving on, albeit slowly but eventually she should.

Also, I for once want to see this show taking the hard way & not showing anything about Nandini's love life. I want them to show how Nandini deals with her life, how she fullfills her dreams, How she makes a niche for herself in this big bad world because all she's done in her life is run after & around Manik, which is not & will never be the aim of her life.

Let's hope for the best!

I LOVE this post...I agree wholeheartedly. What Mannan was, was beautiful...they had a great love story...and at least it can be said they were in love till the end. Life has to go one...I view mannan as a great love story, albeit tragic but I still can re-watch their scenes and feel great about them. re-watching their scenes this week has been great for me...it's bittersweet if you think about it but i'm ready to give this new guy a chance...I actually hope he is her love interest. She can love again. why not?

Hmmm.. Why can't Nandoo fall in love again? Because Manan fans don't want her to move on! And I'm one of them!

Looking at this realistically I totally agree with ya! Nandini is supposed to move on. She has to. But Manan is what they have shown to be 'hamesha' . They themselves didn't think that they would have to end Manan but they did and I am super pissed at that.
I am trying to watch the new season but with a detached feeling, for me Manan will always be eternal but in another story. Here it all starts with a heart broken girl, who lost her one true love and is trying to embrace life, being happy because that is what her monster would want after he was gone, he would want her to move on. Here for me Manan doesn't exist, this is ky2 season 2 with a new story, the old characters sans Manan, who for me in my imagination have gotten their happy ending and I will be gushing over them forever, forgetting the blunder Mtv has done.
Manan is forever and no one can ruin that for me, not the onscreen shit they showed in season 1.
I am watching season two as a new viewer, waiting for another magic to take place so that I have two pairs to gush over and not regret my decision.
The season two is actually intriguing, it is fresh away from the old drama which has made it easier for me to make both the two seasons into two different stories definitely and I will watch this new season with hopes for the heartbroken girl to find someone who will make her happy again and along with Manan we get another lovely couple through this show.
P.S the new actor seems nice, he seems to have the same arrogance and a guy with a hard past it seems. Just the guy who needs some one like Nandini to love him. And Nandini loving someone else doesn't make her unlovable to Manik. She gave him everything she had, literally and he died. She has to move on and we need to accept that.

You said it better than I could...its like watching a whole new show...i'm treating it the same. it's like a new story with a new romance. Season 1 was another show in my mind too.
