Meera and Shravan's engagment. Kokila and Gaura feed each other mithai. Meera takes aashirwad from Dharam. Meera and Shravan exchange rings.
Meera is hiding her face and watching the engagement. Kokila has banned Meera from attending any of the wedding functions. Kokila screams from the top of her voice, "I have decided that VIDYA'S ENGAGEMENT AND WEDDING WILL HAPPEN WITHOUT MEERA!!!"
Offscreen Tanya says, "I was locked in the room. I climbed down the pipe and went there. You can imagine what things I can do."
Apparently before the engagement Meera's secret was revealed in front of the whole family. Dharam says, "Because of you, me, a fit and healthy wrestler, has become langda!" Dharam has seen Meera was the girl who pushed him due to which he broke his leg. Dharam grabs hold of Meera's arm.
Tanya: "First thing, getting caught. I knew I was going to get in trouble for that. But I was hoping that the engagement will break, then I could get in trouble. Instead it happened before the engagement. But you see how I handle the situation."
Vidya presented evidence in front of the whole family. She brings the burka that Meera was wearing when she went to the jewellery store. Dharam holding a piece of cloth says, "This is a piece of that very same burka. Want to bet on it? Here Baa." He hands the piece of cloth to Gaura.
Tanya: "Second thing is I swallowed the ring because my sister's life to me is more important. I just wanted to stop this engagement. Even if I have to put my life in danger I will do it. Because Meera has always been the aggressive, the psycho one. So if she wants to do something, she decides something, then no matter what happens she will do it."
Meera is trying to talk to Vidya. But Vidya moves her face away from her.
Meera tries to swallow the diamond ring to stop the engagement from happening. Yes, that's right, she tries to swallow the ring. 😕🤔🤣
Gopi tries to get Meera to spit it out. She is begging Meera to spit out the ring in case something happens to her. But Meera doesn't listen. Then Gaura grabs hold of Meera's neck. Gaura shouts, "Take out the ring! Open your mouth! Open your mouth, otherwise I will strangle your neck!!!" Meera then starts coughing.
Offscreen Gaura says, "I wanted to strangle her neck to remove the ring. That's why I grabbed hold of her neck. My son understood what I was trying to do. That's why he smacked her on her back and the ring came out."
Meera still trying to convince Vidya to not go through with the engagement. Vidya in an effort to get Meera away from her ends up smacking Meera on the face.
Tanya: "I got a slap. But I got an even bigger slap to my heart. Maybe the slap on the face is not as hard as the one I got on the heart. But I will get my revenge for that. How? You will have to watch."
Kokila grabs hold of Meera and takes her upstairs. She has given the order that Meera will stay away from Vidya's wedding.
Offscreen Rupalji says, "From what I know of Meera, she is stubborn, she is rude and has a very chachan (delicate?) mind. But if I give an order, then she would not have the guts to go against my orders." (Personally, I say screw you and screw your orders Kokila! 🤬😡)
Meera secretly reached the hall and watched the engagement.

Same scenes as SBB. Shot of Gaura pressing her cheek against Vidya's. Voiceover says Saath Nibhana Saathiya's biggest saathiya is melodrama.
Offscreen Tanya says, "I got a slap. Actually I'm always getting slapped. But today I got one from my sister and that to my younger sister. So I feeling very sad. I imagine it's because swallowed the ring, for that reason she slapped me. So, I'm feeling very bad ya."
Sonam says, " I didn't slap her on purpose. I was trying to get Meera to back away. Now if my hand hit her, she's thinking I slapped her. I didn't slap her."
Gaura says, " Don't know what ends up happening to Meera. She always does some ghadbhad that even my mind goes bad."
Scene of Kokila screaming her head off and taking Meera upstairs.
Sonam says, "Now she is my sister. We have stayed together since childhood. So I'm feeling bad. Without her how will the wedding...she won't be at any of the wedding functions. So I'm feeling very bad thinking about it. But then she does antics such as these. What can we do? Dadi has become compelled to lock her in the room."
Dharam grabs hold of Meera's arm. Ahem removes Dharam's hand from Meera's arm and Gopi holds Meera. (Well thank goodness, at least these two idiots did something.)
Gaura is very happy that the engagement has happened and in excitement smacks her hip against Kokila's who almost falls down but is saved by Gopi! 🤣
