Amanat is good only in ghazals

..then why are people raving that he should win the competition. Mussarat would be equally good if not better if he were here yesterday, but we dont need ghazal singers in india and indian film industry, we need very good playback singers whose voice will suit the indian film actors.

Amanat is very good but only in his genre! Others are allrounders.

I disagree here....he has proven his versatility...!!!

He has sung soo many different genre songs and good good comments on all...

For e.g Jine Mera Dil....he made all swing to his tunes...!!!

Then Koi Mil Gaya...was another good performance...!!! Then chori chori sapno mein from lucky...was anther good one...!!!

Hey.....I beg to differ here...Amanat is one of the few singers in the competition who has proven to be versatile..... Ghazals and classical nos are his forte but he did a great job of songs like Rangeen (I think thats the song name) Koi mil gaya and even the folk song....Dil luteya showed a different facet to his musical capabilities.... and as for all the others being all rounders...thats not true either... both Aneek and Raja too have their limitations especially Raja.... his weaknesses were very obvious in yesterdays episode and his singing paled in comparison to the stellar performances by Amanat and Poonam....having said that I'll also add that Raja is a very good singer and professionally will go far in life....

-You are under the wrong impression that the next step for the SRGMP winner is Hindi film playback singing, whereas there are lot of other avenues & fields of music industry where he can make a mark, (not to mention the lumpsum prizemoney he gets paid for his efforts).

- Please keep, getting-playback offers & winning-SRGMP separate, because to become a playback singer one need not necessarily go through such a competition.

-Not all playback singers' voice suit Indian actors but still they are extremely good to listen and have their niche audience. Playback singing is not the end all & be all of our great Indian music tradition.

- what is wrong with a ghazal singer haven't you heard the melodies of Jagjit singh, Hariharan, Roopkumar Rathod, Pankaj Udhas? They are more respected than most of the playback singers in India & even by those very PB singers you are craving for so much

-Amanat is a welcome refreshing singer in the ghazal mehfil of India, if he chooses to be so.

Mussarat will surely get many opportunities to show his talent & musical skills, in the days to come so please have patience.

That's not true zoya! Amanat can sing different genre of songs. And all the mentors are happy with him... He has offers for singing in films..so what's the problem??

He has sung songs of EVERY genre and proved his talent in ALL types of songs- if even the mentors admit it, I cant belive u guys still doubt his versatality 😕 😕

While he rocked songs like Yeh Honsla, Ya Rabba, he has also done a fantastic job with Dil Luteya, koi mil gaya, ek haseena thi 👏 👏 In addition, he was fab in the qawalli round with perda hai perda and others like Meri Pyari Bindu👏 👏 He's here because he has done outstanding in all the rounds...otherwise he would never have made it to the top 4 👏

he got very good comments for the majority of them, too. that proves you wrong.

besides, most of the time he ever sang ghazals was when he was required to sing ghazals because of the theme of the show. you can't blame him for singing ghazals and doing well and then saying that that's all he can sing.

if you've been watching this show, it should be very evident to you how versatile he is.
