An idea for how Amaya could have saved everything

Seeing as the first condition was to get the haveli, Amaya could have done that bit and got Sumitra's signatures and after that threatened Sumitra, that if she said anything about Rachita's truth, then she would go to the police saying that Sumitra wanted dowry for the marriage.
