An actress Niharika makes her comeback on the song Chittiyaan Kaliyaan. (Bad dancing.) After it the media surround her much to the chagrin of the producer, the debutante, and another actor. She leaves to change, leaving her manager Keerti with the media. In the hallway blood suddenly drips on her and her husband tells Keerti to take her out.
At home, Niharika refuses to talk about the subject, but Keerti keeps approaching it. Suddenly Sau Baar Janam Lenge starts playing, which scares Niharika. (Chalo from Kahin Deep Jale Kahin Dil to Sau Baar Janam Lenge. After all this time the aatma is a man. đ) Keerti goes to check as Niharika tries to call Ishaan and when she gets connected, she tells him to come home fast. Niharika then goes to check on Keerti outside and begs for the music to stop, which it suddenly does. (I was thinking they were going to play the entire song. đ) Niharika turns and Keerti falls from the tree on her, scaring Niharika and causing her to faint. (Why would anyone kill Keerti? The real target has to have been Niharika.) Ishaan reaches there and sees what has happened. He tries to wake Niharika when there is the sound of stuff being thrown inside.
In the morning, Dr. Salunkhe, ACP Pradyuman, Abhijeet, Pankaj, Nikhil, Shreya, and Divya are at the site. (Okay first Nikhil wasn't there and then he was. And then Divya was there and suddenly she wasn't. So what? Did Divya suddenly become Nikhil? đČ đ) ACP Pradyuman refuses to believe the story Ishaan told them. A servant, Mahesh, claims that Niharika phoned them from the party and told them all to leave. Dr. Salunkhe says Keerti's neck is broken. The team look at the pulley from which Keerti was hung. Abhijeet tells Pankaj to climb the tree and examine it, while Nikhil follows the rope. Dr. Salunkhe points out that Keerti was given a poisonous needle behind the ear and brings out a small piece of the needle. (Err a needle behind the ear? And how can you tell it was poisonous? Watch it be some poison that cannot be named that effects a person within seconds but in this case it took a few minutes.) Pankaj gets hung upside down from the tree leading to some chaos. (The one problem I have with this part is how it was handled. Pankaj was maybe 2 feet from the ground. All Abhijeet, ACP Pradyuman, Shreya, and Dr. Salunkhe had to do was pull Pankaj down. But no. They let him fall and cry as if he was badly hurt. Like really?) Then he goes off in search of the watchman, Jimmy, while the others head inside.
Inside they question Niharika who recounts what had happened the night before. Suddenly there is the sound of stuff being thrown from an upstairs room and the team head upstairs. Ishaan and Niharika try to stop them, but ACP Pradyuman says that they need to see and Abhijeet asks for the key. He opens the door to a girl with a gun. As ACP Pradyuman tries to reason with Antara (Why is it that they have to have ACP Pradyuman go all fatherly in such scenes?), Shreya grabs the gun and then the doctor goes to get some calming medicine. Niharika says that Antara is her sister and is mentally unstable. Antara starts demanding for her gun and says that there is gunfire and what has happened to Rakesh.
The team step out of the room and ask what the matter is. Ishaan recounts that Rakesh was a crazy, obsessive fan of Niharika's, 2 years ago. In Delhi, Niharika was set to get married to a producer KK and one time when she was out of the city, KK decided to kill Rakesh. He took Ishaan, his assistant, to his farmhouse, where Ishaan waited outside as KK went in followed by Rakesh and a girl. Then there was gunfire and Ishaan ran away and went abroad for 3 months. When he came back there was no talk about the matter. (Yep of course no one is going to talk about a producer going missing. After all a producer is just not high profile enough. *sarcastically*) Then he met Niharika again and the 2 got married a year ago. Pankaj brings the watchman in who after being yelled at by ACP Pradyuman remembers that 2 boys were sent by the gardener to do some planting and that one was wearing weird shoes. (Err the shoes the boy was wearing were not weird. They were regular shoes with design on them.) Niharika says she can't sit at home and ACP Pradyuman tells her to continue her routine and Shreya will accompany her.
Niharika and Ishaan are at a party where they introduce Shreya as Tara, the new manager. Suddenly the lights go out and when they come back on Niharika is missing. Niharika then yells from the hallway where she has been cut and says that someone pulled her away when the lights went out. Shreya deduces that Niharika is the real target. (Aha! I said that above already. This Shreya is smarter than the Inspector Shreya. )
In Delhi, Abhijeet, Dr. Salunkhe, Freddy, and Jaywanti are at the farmhouse. There Dr. Salunkhe finds blood (First of all I have no idea which spray Dr. Salunkhe used. He was spraying it like it was air freshener. The only spray I've heard of to find blood is Luminol. And that requires darkness and UV lights. There was nothing like that here. But whatever FW wants. Obviously forensic science is not their forte and neither do they do proper research.), Jaywanti finds bullet shells, Abhijeet finds a vase, and Freddy finds a shoe. (Yep because FW wanted the murderers to clean up the blood, cover the furniture, clean the house, but leave the evidence behind so CID could find it 2 years later. đ€) As Dr. Salunkhe is examining the vase, Abhijeet spots a skeleton's foot and on unwrapping the rug, they find 2 skeletons. (FW a brief lesson here for you. In Delhi's hot and humid weather, if 2 bodies are wrapped in a rug and covered with a cloth, then they don't skeletonize. They mummify. So what should have been found were partial mummies, not skeletons. But then again anything found after a year for you is a skeleton. đ€) Dr. Salunkhe says that they are both males based on their pelvic bones (Chalo they got one thing right in the forensic science field.) and that they were both shot (Aha! They got 2 things right in forensic science.), but neither was hit over the head. Jaywanti suggests that they are KK and Rakesh. Abhijeet gets a call from Shreya about the attack on Niharika. (I have a problem here with the timing. Keerti's body was examined in the morning. Then the party discussed happened in the evening and then the Delhi stuff happened in the morning. So why is Abhijeet getting a call the next day? And why is Dr. Salunkhe wearing the same clothes for 2 days?!!)
In the bureau, Dr. Salunkhe provides a USB key with the faces of both skeletons. (Say what?!! A USB key?!! And how did he get it to them so fast. Even if the skeletons were found in the morning it would take at least 4 to 5 hours to transport them to Mumbai and then another 3 or 4 hours to make one face. So Dr. Salunkhe worked at 5G speed?) Both turn out to be KK and Rakesh, who ACP Pradyuman recognizes. (Say what?!! How?!!) Dr. Salunkhe says that KK was shot twice and Rakesh was shot 3 times. Freddy thinks that it was the girl, but Dr. Salunkhe adds that the blood on the vase is a guy. Jaywanti suspects Ishaan, but ACP Pradyuman says that Ishaan would not make the mistake of lying to them. Abhijeet asks about the age and Dr. Salunkhe says between 25 and 30. (Third right thing! Read here for more information.) ACP Pradyuman suggests looking at the phones active in the farmhouse area at the time of the murder. Daya says that he's found the boys. (How?)
Daya, Nikhil, and Ishita reach to talk to Tarun and Lalit, the 2 boys. Daya asks what they went to do in Niharika Mansion. They try to run, but Daya catches them and says that they are helping people commit murder. They say that they were told that it was a birthday and that's why they hung the pulley and they didn't even know whose house it was. They show the number they got the call from, which is Niharika's home number. (Oh-oh. Antara? No I suspect Niharika. Don't ask me why. I just do.) Daya calls and demands from Ishaan who made the call. (If Ishaan knew then wouldn't he have already mentioned it? That was a stupid question.)
In the bureau, Jaywanti provides the list of cell phone numbers active and one of the names is Antara. Abhijeet says she is fooling her family. ACP Pradyuman wonders about DK Dairy Farm and Abhijeet suggests that maybe the fourth person is from there. Freddy goes to find out more as Jaywanti pulls up a cell phone route map. (Say what?!! Now you can track a phone to see where a person was? Did everyone's phone have GPS on?!! Wah what a precise map. Ab koi mujhrim bach hi nahi sakta hai kabhi. đ€) They find another person, Eli, who accompanied Rakesh. Freddy says that the farm is in Mumbai and ACP Pradyuman says that Eli must know everything.
At the house, Abhijeet and Nikhil confront Ishaan, Niharika, the producer, and the actors about Antara putting on an act. Shreya is in the background still undercover. Antara is not in her room. Nikhil checks outside to find a makeshift rope. Niharika wonders why Antara would want to kill her.
In the bureau, ACP Pradyuman, Abhijeet, Freddy, and Jaywanti are questioning the owner of DK Dairy Farm who says that the phone was with Tapu, her son, a year back. (Err...the murder happened 2 years back, not a year back.) She shows a photo of Tapu in the newspaper, surprising the team. (Yep obviously. Happens every time. Tell me something new. đ„±)
At Niharika's house, Shreya asks where is everyone. Niharika says they went to search for Antara. Niharika wonders who was following her. The song Sau Baar Janam Lenge starts again. (The aatma is back. đ) Shreya goes to check. Shreya yells for the person to come out and surrender. (Oh yeah like a criminal will actually surrender. đ€) Niharika thinks she saw someone on the second floor. Shreya goes to check and Niharika disappears. Shreya informs ACP Pradyuman and apologizes.
Niharika is telling Antara to run and save her life. She looks away for a second and Antara disappears. Then Tapu, aka the debutante Arjun, makes his appearance with a gun. Tapu pushes Niharika inside with his 2 goon sidekicks, but CID arrives to save the day. ACP Pradyuman, Daya, Sachin, Nikhil, and Shreya reach there. (Ah chalo finally Sachin makes his entry and Daya is back for the final scene as well.) Nikhil takes the 3 away and Niharika thanks them. ACP Pradyuman reveals that they know everything about her and Arjun. Daya says that cell phone mapping showed that she was next to Rakesh the whole time. (Err...that was Eli. So Niharika was Eli? And if she was how did they find out?) Shreya slaps Niharika.
Antara tells Niharika to tell the truth that she's fine. Niharika blames her for trying to be smart 2 years ago when Rakesh and KK could have killed each other. Rakesh and KK killed each other, but Antara reached there to save the day. Arjun was Rakesh's brother and he went there to save his brother. Some goons hit him and he escaped when they left thinking he was dead. Niharika then gave Antara medicines to make her lose her mental stability. Arjun says he planned for 2 years to take revenge. ACP Pradyuman delivers the final dialogue. (If anyone gets the motive do explain it to me. Because I sure as hell didn't get it.)
