Tribute to Season one Kaisi Yeh Yaariyan and MaNan

I would have said this earlier but last three weeks clouded my KY2 experience of this beautiful journey in the form of MaNan.

Now that it is seemingly clear that MaNan journey has ended, I want to pay tribute to this extraordinary and unique couple.

This show was not meant to be a hit. It was a finite episode of 100 that became as a side track to the main show, Fannah, in MTV India. It began as a trial to break the usual Saas bahu saga that Indian TV seemed to enhanced upon TV. KY2 brought a fresh concept, with the vision solely by a fine creative, RY, bringing the trials and tribulations of friendships and Love, in the form of MaNan. The story, that started in hatred ended in a passionate love, and it was so charming to watch Manik, who was so possessive of his Fab 5 group, transferring all his traits towards Nandini. Nandini, slowly invaded his mind, through his senses, occupied his thoughts and her essence crept through his heart, shining in his soul and before he knew it, Nandini became the star that he adored every night, starring up the skies. Nandini, who couldn't understand the racing of heart whilst near this overwhelming man, this monster, so she equated to hatred, only slowly to realise that this monster was not evil, it had a pure heart, selfless for friendship, selfless for a young boy who couldn't even speak, and then realised the nature of Manik's actions. It was pure passionately romantic, and a very level different of attraction. She went further, only to be pushed away so many times, till finally, so couldn't hold it any longer, because as you know, fireflies light up and glow, when true love is present. Manik couldn't stop himself and roared from the deep of his soul "I love Nandini" and Nandini refused to be removed from her true loves eyes, taking every step as a challenge, going further and further, until both broke all the shackles and embraced the love with a mind-blowing confession, that truly moved everyone away.

They finally became MaNan, an intense love story written by the stars and celebrated by the fireflies, and this will forever be enact in ever MaNan fan mind. This is a beautiful love story and deserves every possible appreciation. Thank you Parth Samthaan and Niti Taylor for bringing this lovestory alive, You should be proud of yourselves, as the reasons mentioned above is the very source of why we managed to enjoyed this show, for more than 100 episodes.
