"Paakhi", Sammy shook her by her shoulder making her snap out of her thoughts.. "What happened??", he asked worriedly looking at her disturbed lost state..Paakhi just nodded her head in saying," Nothing".. "You sure", Sammy asked her again but hummed in affirmative but in reality that wasn't the whole truth.

Pecking her forehead Sammy left for office and Paakhi kept looking at an empty corner deeply engrossed in thoughts pertaining to a morning incident but more than that to a specific person..

It wasn't what he said that intrigued her but the way he said it did. She guessed the reason behind it as a day before when Paakhi was discussing about Kalpi's job interview Sammy had said that she could work with Raghav and he will make sure that Raghav won't burden her with much work. Paakhi knew that Kalpana definitely won't like it and so she hid the news of Kalpi's new job from Sammy. "Raghav bhaiyya can't say no to Sammy and so he wants to hide the news so that he can work easily with Kalpi but then why did he say it as a request as if he'll be in trouble if I let Sammy know..", Paakhi thought..

While searching for a job for Kalpi the advertisement of Edifice was like blessing in disguise for Paakhi. She thought that it'll be great for Kalpi to work with the Singhania family so that later if she wants to leave the job for her business it wouldn't be an issue but now she felt as if her plan backfired with Raghav being Kalpi's boss. Thanks to Sammy she'd known about Raghav's behavior and the way she had seen him scold to an employee on her first day in Singhania mansion when she went to give him breakfast made her worry even more for for Kalpi.. "I think I should go meet her..", Paakhi thought and called up Kalpi to inform her that she'll come to meet her in break time..

"O..k.. And what exactly happened??", Kalpana asked her confused at Paakhi's sudden urgency to meet her.. "I'll tell you when I meet you..", Paakhi said and ended the call.. Kalpana stared back at the phone thinking," Weird.. She sounded worried but yet refused to tell me why she wants to meet me.. Hope so it's nothing serious.."

Her intercom rang bringing her out of her thoughts," Hello..".. "Ms.Jadhav, in my office, NOW..", she heard Raghav say.."Yes sir..", she answered and keeping the mouthpiece in its place got up to go in his office..

Kalpana's cabin was smaller than Raghav's and attached to it.. Their adjoined offices were isolated and situated a fairly away from the area where other employee's cubicles were located. A narrow passageway connected the two areas on the floor .

Knocking on the door Kalpana waited for a moment before she heard his voice,"Come in..". She went in and stood before him waiting for him to fire away instructions but he was busy reading something and after few minutes he closed the file he was reading and looked up to her before informing her the work she had to do. After he finished his instructions Kalpana said," Ok sir", and was about to leave when he said," And Ms.Jadhav ask some office boy to fetch me coffee from the cafeteria, the intercom isn't working there..", she nodded and left..

Raghav again got busy in his files, he picked another file from the heap when his intercom rang," Hello", he said answering the phone.. "Bhai.. Do you have Shah Constructions file??", Sammy asked.. "One sec Sammy let me check..", and balancing the phone between his shoulder and ear Raghav browsed through the files and found the one he was looking for, he opened it to confirm and said," Yes Sammy I have it.. I'll send it to your office right away.."..

"No need bhai.. I'm coming to your office..",.Sammy said.. Raghav stood up from his seat almost yelling," What?? wait..", then in a normal tone said," I.. I mean why do you want to come here.. i'll send it to you..".."No bhai.. And anyway I'm already here..", Raghav heard the elevator's ding sound and immediately ending the call rushed out of his cabin.

With long swift steps he marched through the long passageway looking around for Kalpi. He reached the main office area and saw Kalpi coming towards him. He sighed and looked around when his eyes fell on Sammy who was talking to someone.. "oh crap", Raghav muttered..

Kalpi was walking back to the office and saw Raghav standing there and said," Sir??". Raghav's eyes we're still fixated on his younger brother and seeing his conversation end he immediately grabbed Kalpi's arm and pulled her into the file room at the entrance of the passage.. "What the hell??!!", Kalpi tried to free her hand while Raghav held it gently yet tightly..

He opened the door to the room and pushed her in and her volume increased so he himself too entered and pinning her to the adjoining wall covered her mouth.. "You mind shutting up.. Sammy's here..", he said in a hushed tone.. Kalpana stopped struggling and relaxed so Raghav too left her arm and moved away from her..

"Why are you??", before she continued Raghav again covered her mouth this time with just a finger and indicated her to move in away from the door. Removing his finger the two walked inside the dimly lit room. "Now speak and please in a bit low voice", he growled lowly.. "Sorry..", Kalpi said realising her voice was loud earlier and continued," Why are you so paranoid??", Raghav raised an eyebrow and gave her a 'how-dare-you' look but Kalpi stayed still staring at him..

Seeing her unaffected by his intimidating self Raghav said," I never say no to my brother, for anything.. He knows about you then I won't be able to manage my work so the best way is to keep you two away.. And now no more questions.. he'll take his file, look around for me and then leave..ten minutes max.."

Nodding Kalpi walked away from where Raghav stood and leaned back on the cupboard behind her.. Two minutes later she started hitting the back of her head lightly to the cupboard..

Tak, tak, tak... The annoying sound slowly started annoying Raghav and she looked in Kalpi's direction.. "If you wanna bang your head then do so silently Ms.Jadhav..", he muttered and Kalpi just glared at him mimicking him when he averted his gaze..

Five minutes ticked by and they still were in same position.. "Waiting is pointless, I'll go check on him and after that she can come out.. ", Raghav thought and just when he was about to look at Kalpi he heard a this and then the sound of falling pages and file..

Raghav hurried to her and helped put away the files.. "I told you to stop banging your head.. ", he shouted angrily," now look what mess you created".. Kalpi opened her mouth to say something when the door opened and two employees came in.. Their shocked faces made Raghav- Kalpi stare at each other and Raghav noticed Kalpi's fallen dupatta he immediately bent and handed it over to her.. Averting the employee's gazes they left the room and luckily Sammy also wasn't around.
