Hi Everyone, i have talked to a few of you before on our very own SAahil heaven, this is my first fiction on SAahil, and hope you all enjoy reading it as much i enjoyed writing it. it took me back to the days i loved, the golden era of Qubool Hai, when Sanam and Aahil we're actually SAahil and not a pale version of them. honestly i missed them enough and was frustrated with track that i wanted to make it all right, like the way it should be. there are other versions of how the story should have proceeded and i have read each and every one of them and loved them too, this is my version of how think the story should have gone forward, hope you all like it.
Yet Again - Prequel - A SAahil Fiction
"Dekhiye aap..."
Yet another day with yet another accusation, once again he was the reason for her misery.
Her guilt, her faith in the fact that she belonged to someone else, and the attraction towards him was clouding her mind, her ability to think logically.
She was overlooking everything besides her guilt, beside jannat's truth of being shaad's wife. She was bound by her self made constraints of her new life.
He could see the changes in her, she would smile, but it would fail to reach her eyes. She looked alive, yet lifeless.
As soon as she would look at him, her eyes would flare up with emotions so passionate and deep, that it would touch his soul, but as soon as her mind would catch up she would look away. It was as if her soul, her heart recognized him, but her mind didn't.
What a joke his life had become, it was like all his life, all his misdoings were being brought to the forefront through her. He was being punished for every mistake of his, even the ones that seemed unintentional.
There was a time when he ignored her, just so that she would feel his pain, now her ignorance, though unintentional, was tormenting him deeply.
May be, the Allah was showing him his faults, telling him she was closer to him than him. His love may be powerful enough to save her life, but not enough to make her his.
...greatest things are earned with great pain
maybe his love too had to go through a test to gain her. His love, his heartbreak is unprecedented to her now.
All he could see around himself was darkness, darkness so dark that all that he was left with was a hope, hope for her love, only cure to his eternal pain. He felt as if he let her away from himself anymore, he will also forgo the last string of hope.
She was grudgingly blaming herself for her treacherous thought, for heart's involuntary choices.
He couldn't just stand there and watch, though nothing in this joke of life was their fault, nothing of what they have become today was them, but it was up to them to decide what to do thereafter.
A smile curled up his lips with an undercurrent of amusement, as he noticed her huffing in exasperation at him. He could see his saman in her, the old her, who would get annoyed at everything he did wrong in her book.
This moment right then had an uncanny resemblance to their beginning
"are you even listening to me Mr. Ibrahim?"
"apparently that's all I have been doing these days"
"what do you mean? Anyways, listen and listen carefully, because I am not going to repeat myself" she continued, without letting him answer.
"of course you are not" he muttered under his breath.
"kuch kaha aapne" she asked eying him suspiciously.
"nahi, go ahead, continue" he replied, a smirk making its way on his face
"this is not funny Mr. aahil, this is a serious matter and I need you to pay attention. Dekhiye door rahiye mujhse..."
"yeh kehne ke liye itni der se chila rahi thi mujhpar?" he asked, now annoyed at topic of interest.
"chila rahi thi matlab, aur yeh baat aapke liye important nahi hogi lekin mere liye hai. Mere kareeb aane ka haq sirf mere shohar ka hai, aapka nahi."
"toh mujhe kyun bata rahi yeh sab, apne shohar ko jaa kar batao na, joh tumhari har baat sunte hai"
"unhe kuch batane ki zarurat nahi hai mujhe, samjhne ki zarurat sirf aapko hai, unhe nahi." She yelled at him, trying to get her point across to him, and to herself.
"dekho baar baar ek hi baat dohrane se baat badlegi nahi, naahi koi jhoot ek sach mein badlega. Vaise bhi joh sach hota hai voh kabhi na kabhi to sab ke samne aa hi jaata hai." He declared, trying to put an end to their meaningless conversation
"joh kehna hai saaf saaf kahiye, yun pehaliya mat bhujhaiye."
"mujhe kuch nahi kehna hai tumhe" he said angrily, turning to leave there, for he was sure, if stayed a minute longer, they would end up in a bigger mess than they were already in.
"aap se aakhri baar keh rahi hoon, mujhse..." she had started to say as she grabbed him by his arm, stopping him from leaving, when she was cut again for the second time today, but thankfully not by him.
"Aahil?!"
