Thats not fully true. Some of them did some heroic things in past but it was not easy to fight with powerful Britishers. Moreover Rajas had no unity amongst themselves.
And i dont think Rajas were living under debt of a businessman which is shown in this show, not sure though. May be some.. But it is a show, so everything cant match with reality. But yeah Rajas were under great pressure of Britishers n then by 1940s wave of independence was also at peak endangering the seat of Rajas.
