If you listened to the dialogues very well, as Butifuleyes said, RV was not about depression at all. To me his mission is that Ishani has broken his heart many times so he will make her suffer.

At the bridge, he talked about his love for Ishani, she'll leave him for someone else, etc. Then he said, he's given his property to Ritika, Ishani will know what it means to live in pain and she can live like his widow.

This is the attitude of a man who wants his wife to blame herself and suffer everyday for his death as well as becoming penniless.

He did this with clear mind, hence he was waiting for her at the bridge to tell her these things and make her witness his death as well.

Ishani is his life and death was not portrayed at the bridge. THIS WAS AN ACT OF REVENGE. like, you have given me so much pain, it's your turn to suffer.

Some may disagree with me . But this is my analysis 😆

i agree with u 2 ... bridge scene was just wrong ... not bec of suicide but bec of motive behind suicide ... and the dialogues were all wrong ...Pitiable

I think people just honestly don't understand what depression actually is. It isn't just feeling sad, it is actually something way more serious, and is a constant battle. Ranveer was kind of coming out of it when she faked memory loss, but she broke his trust yet again and that completely closed him off.

If we count the amount of idiotic things they've both done to each other, we won't be able to tally it cos they are both idiots! They hurt each other but they only do it cos they love each other. They are two bodies, one soul <3

They take it wayyy too lightly! Reel or real there's nothing "stupid" or "disgusting" about suicide and how anyone can confidently say that is beyond me. It's a serious thing that real people in real life unfortunately resort to when they feel they can no longer go on or take anymore pain just like Ranveer. Though it was such a drastic step n I don't condone it but I thought coupled with the bedroom scene it was justified n both scenes were beautiful

I am sure the cvs have got so embroiled in their own chaos that they don't know if their left hand is doing the right thing :)
The actors are doing an amazing job,its a bit difficult to act for the sake of acting as the soul comes out of a strong script so it must be tough for the actors to adopt a stupid plot.
Ranveer is justified in his position the guy has been very consistent in his love for Ishaani.
Ishaani is the one who has been made to look like
Dumb
selfish
stupid
impulsive
confused
wrapped in a transparent cloak of holiness.
So I hope that after the holy dip the creatives will cleanse their woozy mind and come out with something more exciting.
For the time being pls get yourselves ear plugs for the screeching of Amba Ma and my congratulations to Ranveer and Ishaani for portraying such intense piece of acting.

I think we're rating RV's state of mind lightly here..the man was depressed beyond measure. Even for an iron willed person, it's hard to stomach "apnon ka dhoka", because it makes you question everything in life; it would make any person cynical and spit venom just like what RV did. He was not thinking straight nor was he weighing his words nor their repercussions on Ishani post his supposed death. I think, what I am trying to say is, they are both fools in love, are self-destructive, and deserve each other😆
