Fawad Khan and Siddharth played Pakistan vs India cricket matches

Pakistani heartthrob Fawad Khan shares a special bond with co-star Siddharth Malhotra. According to India Today, Sid opened up about their bromance on the sets ofKapoor and Sons.

The two heartthrobs who play siblings in the upcoming Shakun Batra film Kapoor and Sons, often played India vs Pakistan cricket matches on the sets during filming.

"I had a great working relationship with Fawad. We got along really well after a couple of days," revealed Siddharth.

"We have the same interest in food, in movies. We exchanged notes on our cultures, we used to talk about Lahore and Delhi. When we played cricket on sets, we called it India vs Pakistan match. It was exciting," said the Bollywood hunk.

The film is supposed to be a drama-comedy and along with Sid and Fawad features Alia Bhatt and Rishi Kapoor in pivotal roles. The film is set to hit the screens on March 18, 2016. Sidharth will be working with Alia and Rishi Kapoor for the second time after his debut in Karan Johar's directorial Student Of The Year.

"Kapoor and Sons is a very endearing comedy+drama. It is a dramedy. It will be a unique, special story to tell. I am quite excited for its release on March 18, 2016. I got to work with Rishi Kapoor again after Student. He is playing our grandfather. The warmth and bonding that the whole crew has reflected on-screen. This is the first ensemble for me and the best outdoor shoot I ever had." Sidharth told PTI.

Rumours had it that Alia and Sidharth have been in a relationship, but Sidharth refused to comment on the matter. Instead he spoke about the excitement of working with her again.

"It was exciting that Alia and I got a chance to work again after Student Of The Year. We have come a long way from the first film. There is a difference in our performances as well," he said.
