Yes they would have ended the show on a good note with both couples happy and Tanveer would have had a proper ending as well! 6 months extension would have given enough time to do all that! Then if they got a longer extension, they could have maybe done another leap with SAHIL and SEHAN kids without killing them. Maybe send them overseas and kids come back to India and they start a new story.
Like how Humeira and Haider went to Dubai and the rest of the Khan family to London. They didn't die? They could easily have brought kids of those people to the show as well to carry it on! No need to keep killing everyone and re starting! Giving 1 year extension meant creatives brought black magic women and memory loss, terrorist daughter of Tannu and messed it all up! They could have easily done a positive story. So I personally think 6 months would have been ideal to close loops and end well! 1 year meant they had to kill everyone again! So of course that was not a good thing! Another extension means this story will also be ruined. But 2.5 months is hardly a long time to tell a story. But that will guarantee that they can't torture the leads too much! It all depends on TRP anyway, so who knows?
