He most prolly didn't mean YOU when he thanked Muslims. He meant thosey Muslims who supported him and his team. Nothing wrong with it. Seriously, yaar... that's not a big issue.

This topic is going way out of hand. No one has the right to bash any cricketer around like that. I know some were trying to defend Malik while others were bashing this around. If his comments have offended anyone, then sorry.
