I absolutely love this show and am happy that it's one hr. Long.. All the actors are brilliant, Amma, Sarla, Khusia, raghav, shivam, even Amit😆 enjoy watching Sarla and Amma's antics... Now looking forward to the fireworks Riya brings..

Varun is the most underrated actor. I first noticed him in Banegi Apni Baat as Ayushmaan back in early 90s. He was a young boy then. I think ashish roy who plays Sarala's husband was also in the show. well have been over 20 years ...so obviously they will get older roles..

Agree , he is underrated actor

His contemporaries from Banegi Apni Baat are playing old roles since many years , Sanjeev Seth in yeh Rishta , Shefali Shah in movies , Saadiya Siddique , Rituraj , Anchit Kaur etc

Sandhya Mridul from Koshish Ek Aasha and Banegi Apni baat played mothers role in that weekend show on star ( investigations one , forgot the name )

Much younger stars than him are playing old roles ...Ram , Hiten , gauri pradhan , Mansi Salve , Gautami etc

There was a show on Zee , it's my one of fav , Manzilein Apni Apni , I think I didn't work so ended soon ... there were four leads , Varun ...Prachi Shah ( playing mothers roles since many years now ) , Nitish Pandey ( played father in Pyaar ka dard hai )

I wld say Varun still managed to play lead till so long
