If we compare this episode with what is written in scriptures, then we will get questions like "why Sita was shown so younger than Rama?"
But let us judge the serial on its own and without comparing it with anything else. In that sense, I liked today's episode a lot. I mean, it was enjoyable throughout.

I also liked this episode. It was enjoyable plus it finally brought back Mandodari's track. They settled the issue of Sita's birth at last. 😊

One thing I really liked is that Kaikeyee is shown to possess knowledge of weapons. Scriptures do not say it explicitly that she had the knowledge. But they do hint towards it. Kaikeyee was Dashrath's charitot driver in a war and that too in a very fierce war. Only somebody with good knowledge of warfare could be chariot driver in such a war. Based on that, if creatives have used the imagination that Kaikeyee was herself involved in teaching Ram and his brothers, then it is a good imagination.
But why were Vishwamitra's eyes shown like that? It was shown as if he does not see clearly.😕

The Jain versions mention that she was trained in warfare. Considering the amount of material that they seem to have adapted from the Jain versions I think it's pretty logical to conclude that that's where they got this fact as well. They adapted it of course but it is a pretty well done adaptation I must say. 😊

You know, it seems to me that in this version Kaikeyi will explicitly use the boons to bring about the Ram-Ravan encounter. She is desperate to have revenge on Ravan and she is training Ram and his brothers for it. It is logical therefore that she will try her best to bring about a conflict, a war between Ram and Ravan. Perhaps sending him on exile to a place where he is bound to encounter Ravan's forces will be her way to doing this. A master plan. 😉

As for Vishwamitra...perhaps it is a problem with the actor himself? 😕
