Since the day Sagar refused to recognise Vidya at the airport (Horrible memories) to this day where he is in denial towards his suppressed love for her....how has the journey been? Have you liked the scenes/moments between them? Remember we used to wonder what its going to be like and go crazy by writing potential sizzling scenes between SV. I remember my Jab Dil Mile.😆

So have your expectations been met? Has their love story been like how imagined it to be? I'll give my thoughts later.😉

I think it hasn't been what I've expected but in a good way. There were times I would expect something to go a certain way but it didn't and at times it took me completely by surprise. I've loved the intense moments that SV have...they are few, but when they come they are strong moments that even without having much say a lot about them....if that makes sense...

Little touches, glances...body language and expression...I love the way their love is larger than words spoken between them...and that's what makes it so much better...

It is as much of a roller coaster ride for the viewers as it is for the characters...and I like that...

Our thoughts match again. 😳 It hasn't been like how imagined it exactly BUT I feel like an idiot that I wished Ekta-style romance between SV when I know how unorignal they are. 😕 In fact each and every moment between SV seems so unique and it does take me by surprise everytime. I mean the hand & medicine scene or the sari scene...they are were just portrayed so beautifully on-screen and it was SO different from how Ekta shows it.

The depth the real SV have is much more than I had imagined. 😊

Both of you could not have put it better. I feel exactly the same way. I expected some stupid ekta type of romance but its actually turned out better. I honestly did not expect the love to be so innocent and subtle but I love that its actually going slow rather than how they over-do it a lot of other shows.

The ladoo scene and the medicine scene is by far my favorite because of all the eye-contacts and stuff. Even that one scene where he gives her medicine after she pricks her finger with the thorn. If it had been some ekta show it would have either been over-done by the guy just leaving her hurt or rushed to her or something. With S-V it was simple "ghuro mat... laga lo" and yet such intense feelings.. uffff

Like Wafah ji said, what I expected was a lot different from what actually happened. I didn't know Sagar would be so cold in the beginning, or Vidya would be the "maid" Sometimes we waited forever for the SV scenes and didn't see any, but we got a lot of amazing ones unexpectedly also.

I also agree like you've said, that there wasn't the kind of romance you'd see in an Ekta show, but this went pleasantly different, that we wouldn't see in any other shows.

It's funny you mentioned that....I was just watching that scene and I thought to myself...Vidya does do that a lot...and it was so romantic as Saagar turned away discomforted by the thought..it's like he's afraid Vidya can read his eyes and emotions, and he doesn't want her too...afraid that she looks right into his soul...or because with all the innocence and love that pours through her eyes, he feels guilty...but even in the dialogues...between the words lie an unspoken tension and that speaks so much for their romance...and love...

EGJACTLY Nehlove. The way he said that to her was just *shivers*....☺️ and its the way she looks at him which makes him feel so uncomfortable. So much love in V's eyes, it overflows in to his. 😳

The fact that its different from Ekta's style is a major reason why Dulhann has been able to become the Top serial in India. Hats off to the creatives and writers who have been able to come up with such orignal (maybe inspired) scenes. 😊

I love their orignality the most...I don't know if you see Kayamath (I don't watch much either, but there was a seen where the lead character is burned...minor burns...but with Saagar and Vidya the care an attention the detail of their emotions are so original that you don't feel like you've seen this before...in some movie...and it impresses me to no end that they have been able to keep their orignality when it comes to SV scences...they are mature, and like you said they have so much depth...and it isn't your run of the mill romance...

i didnt watch BMTD before sagar was a child...in fact, the first epi i saw was when sagar refused to recognise her at the airport
I didnt have much predictions but I did think the blaming Sindura thing would happen...but after that I really liked the "adorable" scenes between them...like the laddoo scene...i like the way they are friends and we can see how much he cres for her
there were def times when twitsts took me greatly by surprise...but even if something bad happened, there were always scenes after to make up for it

I did! I did! 😃 In fact when I went to India I was hooked on to it. 😛 Milind-Prachi do make a nice couple but as far as the screenplay goes...it was far from orignal. It was like, been there...done that. With SV's scene, I was taken in to a completely different world. Not once did I feel that I've seen this scene somewhere else. It was beautifully written, acted and directed. 👏 👏 And nowadays where Ekta couples lack depth, its only because their moments have been seen before 1000s of times before...BUT SV burst with intensity!
