Jigs, such a wonderful update and it made me think a lot about life and human relationships.

We say life is complicated, but is it really or we make it complicated by encouraging negative feelings to grow within and around us thus hurting ourselves and hurting others in the process.

Coming to the Gupta parents, they have failed as parents, big time.

Harshad might have been a busy doctor but was he so busy that he could not see the injustice prevailing in his house. Was he so blind to the miseries of one child and the other growing up to be a bitch. Why did he not question his wife earlier about her step motherly treatment towards one child while blindly supporting the other child? Why did he allow the seed of hatred to take roots so deeply and now he might have realised his mistakes but it is too late for him to think that he can change everything and bring justice to Khushi while setting right Payal.

Coming to Avni, I cannot stop myself from comparing her to Avinash.

Avinash abandoned his kids completely but what Avni did also cannot be pardoned.
How long is she going to give flimsy reasons for her loving one child more and not loving the other child enough? How long is she going to deny the injustice done to one child while failing to raise the other child better?

If Avinash failed completely as a father then Avni too failed as a mother.
If Avinash was absent in his kids' lives totally, Avni was absent emotionally in Khushi's life.
If Avinash did not protect his kids in every way then Avni failed to protect Khushi against the hatred from her other child.
And she failed not only as Khushi's mom, she failed as Payal's mother too. She did not show Payal the correct path of life. She did not guide her regarding what is wrong and what is right.

And from the looks of it, Avni still does not realise the extent of injustice she has done in her life.

This makes me wonder how Khushi grew up to this strong, independent yet compassionate woman. And I think her grand parents are responsible for that. They gave her immense love and care and gave her the right lessons on life.

And Payal, I am still looking for words to describe her. Her tongue is so acidic that even the most concentrated acid will be put to shame in front of her venom filled words. And her husband is no better. Kya jodi hai!!!

Also out comes the secret that Khurana's are bankrupt and are living at the mercy of the Guptas.
Even then their false ego and pride has not reduced, a bit too.

Harshad has realised the worth of his younger son-in-law finally after a decade. Lets see how much of this change will bring justice to Khushi's life.

And finally a grand welcome to Kabir Malhotra.
He seems to be a nice guy. Waiting to know more about him.

Jigs, will we get some action atleast on Saturday, how long will we console ourselves with just trailers?

Major milestones often make us reflect on a life lived. Things we could have done better. People we could have loved more. Mistakes we could have averted. Hindsight is indeed a wonderful thing. Especially if you can learn from it and attempt to right the wrongs of the past. There could have been a multitude of reasons why Harshad allowed things to come to this parlous state between his daughters. His love for his daughter is clearly not one of them though. I like the concerted effort he's making now to redeem himself in his own eyes. His anger was also directed at himself in some ways. An acknowledgement of his own culpability.

You've shown us who Harshad is so beautifully. His pain portrayed so well as is his compassion when he wipes his wife's tears. Time for him now to reinforce those "weak walls" inside the "strong facade" that he's built.

Khushi is just Khushi. Her innate warm heartedness again surfaces with Pratik. I really really liked how the situation with him was diffused. Firm but loving. Warmth should not be confused with weakness though. Choosing to walk away should not be misconstrued as being weak. Banging your head against a brick wall is foolish and ultimately harms only you.

Arnav speaking of Khushi to her father just made me teary. The pride, the love, the admiration he has for her so openly apparent. An element of reiterating to himself as well just how special she is. Waise, he certainly made her feel special earlier ;) His quips are just so funny! "Doctorfest" 😆 I can just picture our uber cool Arnav surrounded by all those pompous airbags! He gets away from them and who should he meet?! The suitable boy'! He's going to start singing "Main sasural nahin jaaonga ferrari rakhdo kahaaron, Saal do saal nahin jaaonga, Krabs ko bhejdo Timbuktu ..." 😆

We had all whipped ourselves up in a frenzy about this update and you gave us more than what we were clamouring for. You've done complete justice to each one of your characters here. There's invariably a reason why people act in the way they do. And I love the way you observe and bring that out ❤️ And the way you gave us the Raja story was epic!

Expect the unexpected- given the flashback of last week, the last person Arnav would have expected to stand up with him was Harshad. And yet today, he was the one who joined hands with him. Sometimes, people surprise you, and in this case... it was for the better. It has been a long time coming, for Harshad. I really, really loved the way they came together in this update, from the beginning, all the way to the end.

I know Harshad has made his mistakes, by not stepping in sooner. But I couldn't help but feel for him here. His pain and regret is so palpable, especially in his conversations with Avni and Arnav. I loved how Arnav gently pointed out to him that he can still take the time to reconnect with his daughter. The ending to his conversation with Avni was so poignant- the crushing sadness that he has played an unwitting role in alienating Khushi from her family. The emptiness that Khushi felt when she walked into the house, realizing that the people who should have always been there for her weren't there, yet again, is beautifully mirrored in Harshad as guilt.

You really showed Arnav becoming Khushi's strength in this update. Like she was there for him, he was for her- he made sure she got the respect that she deserves, and he was there for her. I loved how he stood up for her, without disregarding the fact that she doesn't want to create a scene. Their silent communication there was perfect- he lets her know that he won't lose control, but that he has to do this because he can't take Payal disrespecting her. Harshad recognized it as well- they support each other, something that he realizes that even his own marriage of fifty years doesn't have.

I loved how they're so excited to have each other back at the end of this trip. At the end of that heated make out session, they're so genuinely happy- she gets her husband back, and he gets his wife back. I love how they're addressing their relationship as such- husband and wife. What a difference from the tone of the first chapter.

Bring it on, Kabir. Grumpy Arnav is so cute, and I actually cannot wait to see a little more of that. It's oddly endearing.

Love always,
Your Choti.

Jigs, another awesome update focusing on values, priorities, relationships and professions.

Harshad finally stood up for his neglected daughter but isn't it too late to correct all the wrongs as a father he has been committing. Well, late is better than never. Harshad showed his family what Kushi role is and what ground she hold in his house. But did Payal see it? Looks like her eyes are covered with too much green and haze. I think Payal and Rithvik are jealous of Arnav and Kushi success and their bank balance, when they are bankrupt and struggling in their career.
"What?! I am not apologizing to her, Papa. Chutki comes here once every six months or even as long as a year, and I'm expected to bend down to her... for what?"

This statement from Payal made me to think, Is Payal insecure of her positions at her parent's home in Kushi's presence? Why is that? Did Payal make fun of Kushi's career choice before? Seeing where her sister is now is she jealous or guilty for not choosing Law over medicine? Howz Rithvik's equation with Kushi. Don't seem to be friendly?

Avni, I don't know what to say about her. As Harrsad said how long was she recuperating? Thirty-Four years????? And still recovering??? Harshad and Avni definitely failed as parents to Kushi and at least Harshad realized his mistake but Avni is still in 'Payal trance'. As parents they didn't even know the likes of their daughter but I am sure they have a big list for likes and dislikes of Payal. Both Gupta's and Khurana's made Kushi to feel like an intruder at her own home.
Luncheon and the discussion among people about who makes more and who achieved more is really funny. Does money alone define individual success or failure?
Dr. Kabir Malhotra, once prospective groom for Kushi made his grand entry and spoiling Arnav plans to whisk away his wife.
I am waiting for action on "Saturday Night" 😳😉
