We know that Karan Johar and Gauri Shinde are getting together for a new and exciting project. Rumour mills suggest that KJO's protege Alia Bhatt is all set to star in this one. News had it that KJO has zeroed in on Alia and director Gauri willingly gave her consent. There was also a buzz that there will be three newcomers cast opposite Alia for this one.
Though this news was making the rounds in Bollywood's cinema circuits, there was no confirmation from the makers. However, Ms Shinde recently tweeted the news confirming that she is done with the script and the movie will get rolling soon enough. She wrote:
Yes I am making my next film:)script done...well almost...going on the floors soon.looking forward to be back in action.
Gauri Shinde's directorial debut 'English Vinglish' (2012) starring Sridevi became a super hit at the box office. This will be Gauri's second project and expectations are high from the movie. Official confirmations regarding Alia are yet awaited.
