Fans Post-Production To Take Longer Than The Actual Shooting

Director Maneesh Sharma's very unusual film about the relationship that grows between a superstar and a fan, both played by Shah Rukh Khan is going to take longer than expected to be completed.

In fact the post-production is likely to take longer than the actual shooting.

Says a source in the know, "The film involves plenty of special effects. There will be a lot of unprecedented interactive scenes between the two Shah Rukh Khans in Fan, between the superstar and the fan. These scenes involve very complex post-production work. Fan is the most technically complex film ever produced by YashRaj.The film will therefore be released in April 2016."

When asked why such a prolonged period is being kept aside for the post-production work the source informed, "This is not the usual Ram Aur Shyam type of double role. Shah Rukh has played double roles in Mahesh Bhatt'sDuplicate, Farah Khan's Om Shanti Om, Rakesh Roshan's Karan Arjun and Aditya Chopra's Rab Ne Bana De Jodi(though technically it wasn't a double role in the last-mentioned). But nothing like what he has done in Fan."

The trailer of Fan shows an intriguing film about the the superstar and his lookalike. Shah Rukh Khan plays ShahRukh Khan and we see shots in the first-look brilliantly merging the superstar with his fans. The tempo beautifully lifted by the subtle background music eventually brings us close to Shah Rukh's fan whose face is not revealed.

We see Shah Rukh Khan waving to hysterical crowds from his bungalow and we see him interacting with fans from the stage . Both are images from Shah Rukh's own life. The first sequence was shot at his bungalow Mannatwhile the concert shots are from his Slam' world tour last year.

Apparently a lot of Shah Rukh's personal life has been used for his role in Fan.

The film would have Shah Rukh bringing into play all his skills in the two roles .It's the most intriguing and articulate merger of the star-fan relationship. For Shah Rukh to play both the superstar and the fan is a stroke of genius only he can pull off .

Maneesh Sharma is a good director, his record so far has been very good, he won the Filmfare award for Best debut director for BBB.

Over Fan I'll take Raees. Its looking more better filam then Fan.

Last time SRK did technically complex film was Ra.One

I hope all three movies are amazing, coz then all my spare time in December 2015, April 2016 and July 2016 will be spent watching and rewatching and rewatching these movies in the theatres.😆
