Hi Akhl,
Could you also write the story of the the birth of Sita? When you do, could you write all the different theories or ideas people have presented.

Hindu Puranas - Ravan collected tax from everyone, including sages. The sages were very poor and were not able to pay tax. Ravan's men tortured them. The sages decided to teach Ravan a lesson. Each of those sages took out some blood for him body. They collected all the blood in a pitcher and buried the pitcher inside ground. The sages were spiritually very advanced. From their combined spiritual strength, the blood became Sita.

Buddhist Ramayan - Ram and Sita were siblings. Later, they married.

Cambodian and Malaysian Ramayan - Sita was Ravan's daughter. In her previous birth Sita was Indra's wife. She was insulted by Ravan. To take revenge, she was reborn as Ravan's daughter. Astrologers warned Ravan that his daughter would be the cause of his death. Ravan got her buried. She was found by King Janak, who adopted her. Besides Cambodian, some other cultures also say that Sita was Ravan's daughter.

Birth of Sita according to Anand Ramayan

There was a king named Padmaksh. He wanted Lakshmi as his daughter. He performed askesis for this. Vishnu appeared and gives the king a fruit. A girl emerged from that fruit and she was named Padma. When Padma grew up, then there were many kings who wanted to marry her. They waged a war on Padmaksh. Padmaksh lost the war and lost everything. Padma jumped into fire and self-immolated herself. Later, she came out of fire and was doing meditation. Ravan saw her and wanted to abduct her. But she again entered into fire and was reduced to ashes. In the ashes, Ravan found five diamonds of very high quality. He came to Lanka, put those diamonds in a casket and presented the casket to his wife Mandodari. Mandodari could not life the casket. Ravan lifted it and opened its lid. When the casket was opened, then instead of diamonds, there was a baby girl in it. Ravan and Mandodari consulted astrologers. The astrologers advised Ravan to get rid of the baby. They said that the girl had arrived to cause the end of Ravan and his dynasty. He wanted to kill her. Mandodari pacified Ravan and said that the baby should be buried. Ravan agreed to this and the baby girl was buried. Mandodari said, "This faithless girl will survive only in that house, where the householder has his senses conquered, who being an emperor lives like a hermit, who though wealthy care nothing for the riches but views whole of the world and people as his own soul, with an impartial
attitude." Mandodari thought that it was impossible for such a person to exist in the world and thus the baby would not get any house. She thought that this way, there would not be any danger on Ravan from the baby. But King Janak had all these qualities. Mandodari's servants buried Sita and King Janak found and adopted her.

This is the version I know. Lakshmi devi was doing tapas when Ravan spotted her. He tried to misbehave with her when she turned herself to ashes. He collected those ashes and flew back to Lanka. Mandodari took the box of ashes from him and looked inside when she sees that it is a womans ash that is going to destroy lanka. She orders the ashes to be burried very far away. The men burry it in Janak's courtyard where he ploughs to find baby sita.
About first child of Ravan is Meghnath. Ravan tries to change the planetary positions on force at the time of his birth. All planets obey Ravan when only Shani moves out of position when Ravan chops off his leg.
