It's an award function... They could have shown the dinner... Being malayalee is not an excuse...
Pinne ruhi ishitha auntie ennu vilikkunna scene..that was a really important scene to show their emotional attachment...ishitayum ruhim thammilundaayirunna oru bond malum lekshmim thammil feel cheyyunnillaa.. There is still something lacking...I feel this because I was really touched by dat scene den..it showed how much ruhi was attached to ishitha, not just to us..but to Raman also..
