Very nice review...but i disagree with few points...n i did tell u dont see wierd n stupid spoilers...😆 I dont...usually...but when I do, they trn out to be abso trash
i wud like to differ here Aku... i liked the epi.. yes it was super melodrama.. yes it had no logic to beat him up in front of his apartment just coz his ghar ke mard are out or watever...n yes they turned a serious thing into comedy as they generally do..but i was moved eneuf to have few drops of tears... You know what's funny?? Even when I was writing the review, I knew u and had wud diverge on this count...and lo and behold! Here it is :p1. first their conversation over phone...my god they will kill me one day...i love it when raman calls biwi ..madam...i just love that...n watver happens he just cant miss her call...so off he goes to recveive her call n request her to come...just u n me... for me... suddenly their chemistry has increased 10 folds after their Consummation...the same smiles , same lines makes me go more dhak dhak than it did before...n its my theory they did the night before as well...coz well raman was tired tht day too...lmao...okk enuf guttery talk... You are right Shal...the same teasing, the same smiles, hugs...concern, care and love has suddenly become MAGNIFIED in our eyes...I feel gooey-er (if there's a word like that) in my knees, more goosebumps under my skin...more sloshy inside...and yes, Raman is so DEVOTED to her...pehle bhi tha, par ab AUR ZYADA DIKHTA HAI2. that expression of ishita when she understood soemthing is the matter with raman...n her cry...her raman raman raman..made me cry..m not going to lie...i felt the pull... aku...u knw my puttar returns home verylate from offce n drives down the em bypass...n no matter how much ppl say...sleep, he will come when he has to come...i cant seem to sleep...even at 4 am... well..will i be able to save him, if something has to happen...no..but still staying awake n beside the phone makes me feel a lil better..so i get it if ishita feels uneasy for him... coz i do feel that prty often when it is too late or raining heavily...u knw the em by pass road urself...Yes..I kinda understand what you're saying...her drive down to the apartment, constantly looking at her phone had me more riled up than her reaction in the clinic itself...it was a sinking feeling inside her, thinking the worst possible...but personally, I think am not quite emotional when it comes to linking a thunderstorm outside to weird premonitions in the head...so yeah...Ishu's concern was palpable...but I wished they didnt place too much reference on "bahar kitni barsaat ho rahi hai bijli kadak rahi hai and all"..coz it made that Bollywood reference very apparent3. toshi ji s expression...yes she was doing a dharam paaji ...but a mom goes crazy when it comes to ur child...u have extra power then... so when she said who r u all...n y r u hurting my baby...i felt the tears pricking... Hey! That scene stirred me within as well! Toshi went mad with rage...trying to protect her son...she was ready to fight off the biggest giants on earth, and though the fight sequence mostly made me laugh, Toshi ji and Bhalla ji's reactions pulled me in...those two bits were v v heart-touching...that IS how parents react when some danger befalls their child😭4. puttar getting beaten up...my dil did go dhak dhak...i knew the comedy is coming...yet i cudnt control it... I hated seeing Puttar in that bloodied state...for a moment (before theytook him to the hospital) I had the most sinister images in my head...5. n i was relieved with the comedy coz that means puttar is fine...n he wanted biwi to do his patti... m telling u puttar has one track mind... Here I disagree...this track had SO MUCH POTENTIAL to build into something FANTABULOUS...and the CVs killed it by inserting unnecessary humour...yes...KP was fab ...enacting a scared Raman..not wanting to stay in the hospital..but somehow I felt, and still feel CVs would have drawn better results from the episode had they hit the emotional chord...focussed on how each family member was rooting for Raman...and was worried sick about him...I'd have preferred that!6. even in hospital...i dont knw if it is me or it is real..their nokjhok n everything...both as if have some extra haq over each other... I dont know about this...coz didnt feel that way...but Raman was behaving like a cute lil boy and Ishu was towering over him...reminded me of how I parent my husband when he becomes a kid...😆so over all..i liked the epi... even if it was melodrama... I was kinda disappointed😕PS: m least concerned abt shagun n her saintly activites n her love story...coz from where i see..Raman Kumar Bhalla is in love with Ishita raman bhalla..irreversably...so no going back. Bas. Haha..of course no one cares about Shagun's LL. but as long as we pray for her LL to flourish, we can be rest assured she wont butt hr nose in Ishra's life..and hence, my continued interest in her "well-being"😉 even if she DOES butt in,Ishra wont change...as a unity..as a couple..but still...I dont want that headache to come bak and disrupt everything

😆 😆 at the title and the opening sentenceEDITED-----------I watched 2 shows today: YHM & some random daily soap with good looking actors. Posting comments for each of them below. (For both the sets, Shagun & her love-life will be ignored, because I fast-forwarded that bit 😛 😆) You know...I had to read the WHOLE Of your post in a jiffy to understand THIS para😆😆😆 I was thinking WHICH show are you talking about!😃 I get what you mean..Random Daily Soap (with good looking actors)😆 😆 😆 😆 😆This was my reaction throughout, even when the hero was getting beaten up (who btw looked smoking hot 😳) and the parents were fighting for him, and he, for the parents. Hilarious episode! And totally enjoyable 😃 Toshi's manhandling, Amma's tamil, Vandu's scattered hair, Sarika's tiny hands fighting, Bhalla ji & Appa's fighting - I was laughing throughout. Then Raman's antics in the hospital and Ishita's scolding, as if he was her kid instead of husband, and he was acting like a kid.Not for one moment did I feel bored 😆 Of course, for this part I kept logic aside and did not try to find any deeper meaning in any situation. Toshi's manhandling and Amma brandishing the BROOM at the goons like it was a sword, had me in splits...but no...I couldnt smile even a lil bit when Raman was getting thrashed..am damn partial to him u knw😉 Appa looked like he was coerced to be a part of some terrorist attack😆 on a neighbouring state...Raman was SUCH a kiddo in the hospital...like a cute lil boy..I wanted to hug him...🤗YHMWhen I was looking at the episode through the lens of YHM, I was disappointed. Just because the actors have a good comic timing, doesn't mean everything has to be funny. There were more misses than hits for me today. Exactly my point. They ALL hav a FAB sense of timing, and yet, the epi look FRAGMENTED AND FABRICATED TO ME...not real...flowing...or soul-stirring...and this is where You and I differ..since I dont hav the ability to watch YHM thru the lens of a random daily soap..and hence, was disappointed much😕Hits:
- Raman flirting with Ishita on phone - They've reached a new level of comfort that I cannot even define, or maybe we're looking at them this way post their consummation. Whatever be the reason, they're now treating each other with more authority, as I mentioned yesterday. The way he called her 'Madam' to Mihir, felt she was missing him because she had called 5 times, asked her to come home quickly, hinted for some alone time for the two of them, blamed her for being unromantic, AND the way she kept telling him to take her seriously, about her nervousness and palpitations - Such a natural conversation! 😳 😳 😳 [Gush Alert: Puttar in white in his new hairdo - If looks could kill, I'd have been dead by now. Never been a KP fan per-se, more of a DivAn / IshRa fan, but KP is pulling me towards himself day-after-day-after-day ☺️ ☺️] oHH YESS!! Its not just US..the scenes HAVE a magnified sense of romanticism to them..Raman and Ishita have this MARKED change in their attitudes towards each other...more gravitating, more caring, zyada hak, zyada pyaar...more frankness...MORE of everything! So nai...hamare ankhon ko dhoka nahin hua hai😉 as for KP in white..he is A VISION...A TREAT FOR THE EYES...Man! I go bonkers everytime he comes wearing white...dil zor se dhadakne lagta hai😆 and am glad SOMEONE HERE cant differentiate betweeN Raman and KP..coz Ive been in that fix for weeks now!! Just cant distinguish between the two...
- Ishita's reaction on phone - So tender and heart-touching. She could hear something wrong happening with Raman. The way she was shouting for him, kept calling his name out, her fear was contagious 😭 😭 When she said, "Raman Raman Raman Rmana" continuously, I felt needles prick my body...so powerful, that was!😲
- Raman's fighting hard, but getting beaten up. My heart went out to him 😭 😭 I couldn't get his blood soaked image out of my mind No matter WHAT the theme of the epi (comic or serious) I HATE seeing Puttar in a bloody bruised mess!😭
That's all the hits I found. Rest everything else was a miss.I felt that this track had HUGE drama and intensity potential. If they wanted to re-unite the Bhalla family, could've taken an emotional route instead of comic relief. Personally, I wanted to see Raman seriously getting injured and Ishita breaking down for him, the way she has broken down for Ruhi in the past. It had so much scope for all the actors to emote strongly, AND would have been a TRP fest too, because TRP aunties love tears and heroes struggling for life and heroines taking care of them. This could have been that moment for Ishita which Raman had during the earthquake. It'd have been so beautiful to watch. Heart-breaking, gut-wrenching, but beautiful. And the CVs ruined that potential with forced comedy. @bold and underlined - Word. They could have gone the emotional way...Raman didnt need to be beaten up more than he eventually got, but they could've shown how serious his injuries were..and the whole family coming together, and rootin for him...praying for him...forgetting their differences...they could;v focussed on each member of the Bhalla family and their reactions..at the fear of losing Raman...would have been so mcuh relatable...not THIS comic fest...ruined the HIGH voltage drama built up in the last few weeks😡Situationally, Ishita scolding Raman was not funny, Toshi treating him like a baby was not funny, him asking Bhalla ji to stay because he's scared of Ishita was not funny. Also, he was beaten black and blue, had so much blood loss that his shirt became red, and he seemed fine to me in the hospital, barring a few scratches, which I couldn't digest 😕 Nothing against the actors because they did great as always, but disappointed with the writing. Ditto to all! In fact, I found it v unreal that a man who got AS brutally thrashed as HE did can even AFFORD TO CRACK sch jokes...at the drop of a hat...didnt like it, didnt make me laugh..didnt find it funny...was just plain disappointed...if it happens to someone in real life, can the victim afford to BE SO COOL AND CASUAL??Not that I'm not fond of laughing because I am, and KP, DT and the remaining YHM cast has stupendous comic timing 👏 👏 But I had so much hopes from this fight sequence, which all went down the drain 😭 😭 You know...evrybody has been gushing about how FUNNY it was..and surprisingly, what they found 'tragic' or sou-stirring, I found immensely hilarious...like the fight scene...I had begun to doubt my threshold for humour..but thenIve realised its because I dont EXPECT/SEEK humour everywhere...I was looking for an EMOTIONAL CONNECT today and I was let down as an audience😭So, as a viewer, I choose to watch today's episode as a random daily soap, with super good looking actors, and enjoy myself. No deeper meanings, no expectations 😃 😃 You are lucky you can separate your heart and mind that way...I guess I need more practice😉

Just cant distinguish between the two... I think DT did mention in her morning-after byte that now that IshRa's relationship is officially stamped, it'll be visible in their chemistry. There'll be more of a routine comfort now, which we're seeing 😳 😳 Now that you've mentioned both KP & Raman, I love Raman because of all that he is ☺️, but I love KP because of the way he portrays Raman ☺️ meaning I can distinguish between the two, but still love both ☺️ 😆

No other song fits YHM as a whole so well. I've tried to put the story of YHM (the first 242 episodes) into this song....
My retelling of the iconic show Yeh Hai Mohabbatein. Four separate souls -- Raman, Ishita, Ruhi, and Adi -- in four separate cities But somehow...

I dare you to post a thing about anyone other than DivAn.
This is gonna be a fun thread! Do you know, YHM -as popular as ever- is full of symbolisms - gesture, expressions, dialogues, scenes even...
