Viplav is holding my interest in this show. His behaviour is definitely irksome but there are various reasons. First and foremost he is grandson of Dashrath Tripathi and being a hypocrisy king he has kept Viplav in darkness. The guy has no idea what happens with widows and has zero knowledge about traditions and customs followed by the society. Ironically his Grandfather is up holder of these traditions. He knows that his Grandad is there for him whenever he is in grave danger.
According to me biggest reason for Viplav's care free attitude is absence of fathers guidance. He has grown up under his Grandfather's shadow and was spoiled by love and affection.
Viplav knows that he can buy anything and everything by hook or by crook. He won't even think for a minute before hurting others and make his way ahead. In short he is living in a bubble protected by his Grandfather and Mother.
For now he his unaware of the traditions and customs followed in his society. But Dhani will become the medium for him and soon he will realise the harsh reality of Widows and all the atrocities done on them by so called society.
Character sketch of Viplav is interesting and his transformation into a rebellious son will be treat to watch. After all its Mishal playing Viplav.
